I stopped ordering takeout pizza with Fox's 3 years ago because the pizza was always cold. I gave them another shot tonight and it was the same thing, cold pizza! Delivery guy comes to the door and just hands me the pizza box. When It comes to best business practice for delivering pizza one would think it would be delivered to your door in a zipped delivery bag. I love 8 minutes from their location. This place has always been one of my go-tos for a good cheese steak sandwich, the biggest and best in waxhaw in my opinion! Wow..how do these people get customers ..whoever started this construction around them did now want them to survive. But -- They do. We ordered Sandwiches last night before Bingo and we had some pretty good ones. We ordered the Wedgies ( which are made on Pizza Dough) and the regular Hoagies on Buns. I stopped in at this restaurant for a quick lunch. I have never been here before, but knew it had been here for some time. I asked the male and female counter attendants about their slice pizza and was told $4.99 including drink. They told me the slice was 1/4 of an extra large pizza. I ordered a slice and drink. After about 10 minutes the slice was delivered to me. I instantly asked the server if this was the 1/4 of an extra large pizza. I was told yes. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. The slice was mostly outer edge crust that barely done. The rest was a very small triangle. The sauce was sweet tomato-e. The cheese topping was a mix of mozzarella and provolone. The cheese was of poor quality and sparse. There was paper thin pepperoni on top. It was not worth $1.00 much less $3.99 (without drink). Employees did not seem to care. I will not return! read more

To be honest the reviews made me hesitant to try this place, but I actually liked their pizza much better than the other local option down the road. The sauce is good, the crust is just ok. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but they delivered fairly fast and the flavor was good so it will probably become our go-to for delivery. Initial Review: The pizza was under cooked and the order was not correct. We had to wait another hour for them to bring the missing items. The total time for dinner to arrive was almost 2.5 hours and we live 10 minutes from the restaurant. Follow up: My initial review was posted due to the indifference of the person with whom I spoke after the order arrived late and incomplete. The owner promptly followed up and apologized for the issues I encountered. He offered a credit for my next order. I raised my rating based on the owner's response. Stopped on a whim and we've been back for more only a few days later. Great pizza and very friendly staff. Went out of their way to make sure our visit was enjoyable and even ran out after us because they forgot to give us a menu and a handwritten thank you note with a coupon for free breadsticks. My son had a personal pan pizza, made there fresh on the spot. Not bad, not great. Ordered "homemade" toasted coconut chocolate ice cream to go. The coconut was not toasted, it was raw, gross. Fox's Pizza is one of my favorite places to eat! I am vegan so I love getting thin crust with veggies! Their pizza is one of a kind and would totally suggest going there! Compared to Papa Johns veggie pizza foxes it definitely better. They also have amazing customer service! read more

The food is good and we like to order from there. However, last night our neighbors ordered from there and the delivery guy was driving like a maniac down the street, while there were children outside playing. I placed our "caution children at play" in front of our driveway. As the driver was leaving, he rolled down the window and shot us the middle finger. I called and spoke with the manager Levi and he promised to contact the owner and get back to me. Haven't heard a word. I have to say that they have totally lost my business tonight. Three weeks ago I ordered a pizza that looked like it had been dropped on the floor and brought this to the owners attention. I gave his establishment a second chance on last week and received two wrong pizzas. I was to far away before I even noticed them. Tonight I ordered a pasta plate (Alfredo) and my husband brought it home and it was ICE cold. My question is .. was this even made fresh? I had to walk it back to the establishment in my pajamas and ask An employee to warm it up. He said that it wasn't run through the oven. Soooooo this told me that my meal was not fresh? Also the prices for this need to be fixed Bc I have a menu that I picked up last week stating my pasta was $8.99 and I was charged $9.99. The menu posted on the wall of the place of business states $8.99. The customer service has really really gone south over the past few months. Sadly I won't be coming here ever again. I gave it three fair chances to improve and it has just decreased. I bought pizzas WEEKLY here. It just seems like the owner (Rick) is only concerned about money. Yes he does post his "personal" cell number up for any customer concerns but all you ever get is a generic text back with a free $10 off your next order. Nothing is ever corrected or improved. My advice is for you to check your food before you leave and make sure it is actually warm. read more

I liked the fact the toppings were actually baked into the pizza instead of just being thrown on top of a cheese pizza that's been sitting out for a while like some pizza places do. Terrible, ordered the large BLT and bread sticks for delivery, the BLT had 1 piece of chopped bacon on it, hardly any lettuce or mayo, for $12.00 you would think it would be loaded with STRIPS of bacon. Bread sticks came with canned marinara sauce. Delivery driver got lost on 75, right down the street, will never order from there again. No wonder they are never packed!! Let's start with a positive remark: If their pizza is fresh/warm, it is good. But that's a big "if". We have done delivery a number of times and found that it can take a very long time to arrive (that can happen to any vendor that gets busy, right?) but our last three experiences have been less than stellar. Of the last 3 times we have ordered delivery, twice the pizza was cold when it arrived. I don't mean that it just wasn't warm enough for us. I mean the cheese had congealed and the pizza needed to be microwaved in order to be eaten. One time was bad enough. The second time this happened should have been our red flag. We tried them one more time and this time the pizza arrived smashed to one side of the box like it had been dropped. Again, not just that it had slid to one side of the box. The pizza itself was smashed to one side and misshapen. That only happens when it's handled poorly. So, we would like to give more than 2-stars because the pizza can be good, but they need to get their act together before we or our neighbors try them again. read more

Tried Fox's pizza for the first time tonight. I went to pick it up, and it was ready exactly when I requested it to be. The staff was extremely friendly. The pizza was delicious. Plenty of toppings - not too thick or thin - we loved it. The price was very reasonable compared to other pizza shops in the area. We will definitely be back. read more
