Ordered a MOD sized BBQ chicken pizza and Greek salad. The girl waiting on my friend and I must have been newly hired. We asked for no peppers in the salad and for the olives on the side. She added the peppers (with juice on them) to the salad and when we reminded her we didn't want them, she scooped them out and continued making the salad. I was shocked she didn't start over. I kindly reminded her about the olives. She put them on anyway and then proceeded to scoop them out as well. When our pizza came out of the oven, red sauce was put in the middle and then the man realized it wasn't BBQ and switched to it and finished with the BBQ sauce. I noticed the pizza did not have the Gorgonzola cheese on it so we asked for a remake. Just an off night at this location. read more

Placed an online order and received confirmation for 11:46am pickup. Arrived at 11:46am and they had not even started my order. By the time I actually received my order, it was 11:57am. Felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode, as they knew how to take my order, but...you get the rest of it... Anyway, communication is key, as if they just would have acknowledged the error on their part, all good, but complete lack of communication, as you could see the panic in the eyes when they realized my order had never even been addressed and I was standing right there. That's what I get for trying a new place for lunch I guess...Time is money, and in this case, I learned an expensive lesson, although I won't go all in on only giving one star as it could have been worse all things considered as at least the order was correct, albeit 11 minutes late for a pizza that takes less than 10 to actually make. read more

If you try to order ahead online and the expected time is 20 minutes, push that out to 35. Same applies to ordering in the restaurant. Pizzas are always great. The people are nicer, the service is faster, the product is better. Danielle seems to be the reason for the change. She is nice, funny, welcoming and she has that system running smoothly. Gave it a try and wasn't thrilled! Toppings were so clustered that it didn't cover the entire pie equally. One of my pizza came with onion peel (refer the picture)!! Very disappointing. I got a to-go order - by the time I reach home (about 10 minutes drive), pizza was chewy already. My curbside pick up experience wasn't the best! I gave my car information while placing order, but still had to repeat it even after saying what parking space # I was at (whoever answered the phone wasn't in a mood to listen, insisted on me repeating car info and parking space number). Credit where credit is due- the mark of a good restaurant is often how they handle situations where things didn't go exactly right. It takes skill and consideration and it was done well when it happened to me. I've eaten here for lunch a few times as it's close to the office, and I have noted in general the employees are exceptionally pleasant. The pizza is good and the interior of the building is welcoming. Today my order was made incorrectly. Not a huge deal, it happens, but the manager handled the situation very well- acknowledged the mistake, made sure it was done properly the second time, and gave me a coupon for my next visit. The hotel recommended them, the front desk had heard their cauliflower crust was great. So I walked over, no acknowledgement, walked over looked at the menu then stepped to the glass area / I assumed I'd order there. Instead a female employee walked up to the male employee and began talking about how they'd cleaned the sign this morning, never an acknowledgment. The main reason I went here is because I can only eat gluten free :( I tried them and I found their G/F pizza's are surprisingly good. They use fresh, quality ingredients and this makes all the difference! Note * You have to eat a G/F pizza while it's hot! Otherwise, the dough gets hard. So if you use take out... run ‍ home to eat it! Lol :) Also, I did not like the cauliflower dough. Maybe it's just me. ‍ The rest of my family can eat everything without problems, so they LOVE their pizzas! So, I do recommend Mod Pizza. read more

Placed an online order for lunch. It was my first time using the app. It was very easy to navigate. Waited in my car for my order to be completed. I went inside around the time the order said it would be ready. They hadn't even started on the order. The manager quickly comped the order and the employee at the cash register offered me a beverage before the manager offered the comp the meal. I wasn't expecting this kind of service but I was very impressed. They didn't even give me time to think to get angry, lol!!! I wasn't cause I know things happen and lunch time is crazy. I waited just a few minutes and my order was ready. The Jeffery Pizza and the Roasted Apple Salad were on a promotion so I decided to try them. The pizza has a very distinct flavor. It was full of creamy gorgonzola cheese and roasted apple pieces. There was also Canadian bacon and a balsamic vinegar glaze on top of the pizza. I liked it but probably won't order it again. I haven't tried the salad yet but it is full of bacon pieces and roasted apple chunks. I will definitely come back to this MOD Pizza location. They are very considerate of the customer and speedy. Normally I would think "Ho-hum.. another pizza place, big deal," and not give it another thought, but it's amazing how a no-purchase-necessary FREE-Pizza coupon motivates me, so I opted to give this new pizza joint a whirl. It is best described as the Subway of pizza. You choose one of three sizes and then select your toppings, which are unlimited and fresh. There are also several salad options. Our order arrived piping hot within 5-7 minutes. Everything was delicious. We also tried the No Name Cakes which are kinda like a Hostess Ho Ho. Hey for 2 bucks I couldn't refuse (nor will I be able to next time.) It was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive, the sanitation score was a 95.5, and it was well-managed by Tristan on our visit. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy. GROSSSSSSSSS!!!! I went to pick up my pizza and before I could even enter the restaurant I saw a young man blowing his nose and then going back into the kitchen. I confronted him when he came out and I asked him to change his gloves but he argued with me that I didn't see him blow his nose. Lol! And then I went to the counter and told them I needed to pay for my pizza. They laughed at me because they thought that I didn't know what I was talking about. That I had already paid. And then they looked at the print out from their centralized system and saw that I had not paid. They denied laughing and got snarky. So they called a manager from the back because he was the only one who knew how to ring people up. He came out and he was as dirty and sweaty as any man that I had seen working a construction site. He then opened my pizza box which was not sealed and touched it with his finger to make sure it was an actual pizza I guess. He then denied touching the pizza after Id seen him touching the pizza. I've ordered from MOD a few times and have found it to be average. Nothing bad but nothing so great that I ever crave it. It's just a basic pizza and does the job when you are hungry. A wonderful place to go and fast personal oven baked pizzas. I went there for a late lunch and was greeted warmly but the servers/cooks. I went to the ordering station and asked many questions about the types of pizza they sell as well as how to order. The waiter responded quickly with confidence and was very pleasant with his responses. I ordered two pizza, the monthly special, the Hamburger pizza with mega dough and the Mad Dog pizza withthe cauliflower pizza. This being my first time trying the cauliflower pizza, I was very skeptical about the taste. But as soon as I got it I know it would be a one of a kind experience. The cauliflower was baked to be like an extra crispy thin crust pizza, that I love to eat. The Mad Dog was on point with the added free balsamic glaze was mouth watering, and I could not wait to get it into my mouth. Hot and crunchy with melty cheese and all that meaty goodness. A carnivore's delight. The hamburger pizza lived up to the hamburger flavor, with the arugula lettuce and the sauce it was flavorful and a close second to the Mad Dog. The mega dough threw me off but I think it was because I did not expect so much dough at the crust of the pizza. If I had to do it all over again I would of just taken the regular dough. March 15th- Not sure what happened this time except a BAD experience!!. 3 pies , ALL were undercooked , and one of our gluten-free vegans pies barely had any dairy free cheese on it- see pic I Don't see the new benefits of quick online ordering if they make a shoddy pizza. I feel like quality has gone down here a bit lately. Because they are quick and near my house they have been my go to for pizza. But it seems lately that the pizzas don't come out as well as they used to. They have lots of air bubbles now. I don't know if the dough has changed or short cuts are happening when prepping the dough, but something seems off. They also appear to be skimping on the toppings too. It's about $10 for a mod size pizza and my sausage & pepperoni pizza legit had 6-7 piece of pepperoni. I just don't think it's good value of the money anymore. read more

This team is the best. We've been coming to this location for about 14 months now, ever since I moved to Ballantyne in early February 2022. Always super friendly, the service and attitudes are always great, and they go above and beyond with cleanliness, service, and quality. They're never shy with the toppings either, so that helps. For the quality, the price is incomparable. Also almost every time we go in, we hear a manager giving positive reinforcement to their team members. As someone who's been in the restaurant industry and left because of issues with management, this is SO refreshing to see. Highly recommend. We'll always be back for more! I have been ti places like this before where they make the pizza for you with all the toppings so their methods were not surprising. But their pizza was really good. I got all the toppings I wanted and did not have to pay extra for them. The pizza prices were great as well. As a matter of fact their pizza was so good that I did not get the chance to even take a picture. I'm so sorry! I will be going back though, not only because it was so good but because it is right down from my house. There is also a Papa Johns across the street.
