I received a call from FP today resolving all issues including a bill I received after returning the meter. I was told before they were forgiving the remainder of the contract than was charged for the remainder of the contract. It was explained that the invoice was automatically generated and was in error. If I could give them a zero I would. Be very cautious of their underhanded practices. We have a contract with them and they auto renew for 12 months if you do not cancel the contract 90 days before the end of your term. But FP DOES NOTHING to let you know that your contract is coming to term and needs to be renewed. Then they tell you that you need a new machine and your old one will not be supported and they cut it off. So, you are responsible for the new HIGHER rates and shipping your old machine back to FP on your own dime to get the metered money back into your account. But if you leave them the metered money is not guaranteed to be REFUNDED. Then there is customer service :-( read more

We have been with FP Mailing for over 6 years. We were told we had to change mailing machines after 6 years of little to no problems. They sent a new contract. I was told nothing would change and this just needed to be done to get new machine. After receiving new machine, there was no return for the other machine. They said they would send a new return shipping label. We got that and sent it back. Then I discover that the new machine must be used on a Wifi Ethernet or purchase a wireless adapter. They no longer have ability to hook to phone line. We hired an IT tech to install new line since we can not have run through our secure network. This is where the trouble starts. The Customer Service has gone to 0 since getting the new machine...then we find out they "locked" us into another 5 years with them. This is crazy. We better be able to get out of this contract if they do not improve their customer service immediately. For instance, we need ink. And when we need it we need it immediately, but I have emailed and left a message for their rep. (BTW the first rep after we received our new "contract" and machine has fallen off the planet. Now the new one is not replying. Not sure what is going on... like I said we have been with them for over 6 years but they are putting no value on long term customers. read more

I have to repeat this process several times before I actually do hear from someone. I currently am trying to order supplies and I am having no luck reaching anyone. Been using their meter for 8 years. Time to cancel as everything is digital these days. Well, the contract says 90 days notice BEFORE automatic renewal. I called 75 days prior. The guy I talked to was a real tool. Too bad, you will have to pay for the entire year. Was not willing to make any exceptions and I was the jerk for asking. For 8 years we used them, paid every bill on time, never any issues. And that is how they repay their loyal customers. Nice!!! Pay for 12 months even if you cancel. read more

I'm very disappointed in FP mailing solutions. We were interested at the time for a postage machine. I talked with Michael Adams in sales. After I signed the contract, we decided not to get a machine. Well guess what they sent it to me anyways. When i called Michael back he said you only have 30 seconds to cancel after you sign a contract. This does not make any sense. You standard contracts are 3 days. I have talked to Thomas Polonski, he said that there is nothing he can do. We returned the machine unused and also a brand new additional cartridge that we paid over 100.00 for and did not receive any credit. I told him that there are only 3 people at this business and we opted not to get a machine. Very disappointed in this company. Will report to the better business. I offered to pay 1/2 of the bill, not acceptable. read more

I see others beat me to my complaints. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a vendor in my long years in business. The contract I'd signed was for 3 years longer than I'd discussed (tip: read the fine print), and when it finally expired, I, too, encountered the 90-day return problem, so ended up with the stupid thing for another year. A creditable company wouldn't have to bamboozle prospects and clients. I'm headed to the post office now to send it back, finally, and SO HAPPY TO BE OVER FP. If I could give FP zero stars, I would. I have never experienced customer service of this level, ever! I mean the LOWEST level possible for any company. They are very shady and extremely unhelpful! DONT DO IT! Worst machine and service. Plus they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign up. Machine sucks, you spend 20-30 mins every time trying to get it to work for your stamps. Ink cartridges don't even last 100 stamps. Want to send the machine back? Postage has to be through USPS and you have to buy insurance which costs about 260$ plus shipping. Postage machine never works and when we finally got fed up with always trying to fix it, we decided to cancel. Not only is reaching someone impossible, I have been calling for 3 months now and every single time they tell me they are going to send me a cancellation form and NEVER DO. Awful. Just awful. We would have cancelled our account sooner, but contracts require a 6 MONTH notice to terminate. Our first machine broke when the replacement ink cartridge got stuck, which was a common problem we found out. The replacement machine wouldn't connect to our network and our IT team found it was a faulty network card. Called FP to explain they sent us a replacement ethernet cable, which we explained we already tried multiple times. Obviously that didn't work. After a week we contact them again and now they say our IT team needs to reconfigure our network IP to set up the machine. We literally told them the exact problem 3 weeks ago ago. Do not waste your time here. Every review is horrible. Stick with stamps or go with Pittney Bowes. read more

I have been trying to return an FP machine that we no longer need for about 6 months now. Seems they have a gate keeper process to keep people from being able to reach their return department. I keep being told someone will contact me, yet nobody has. However, they're sure to charge me every month and reach out when invoices they fail to auto draft are outstanding. While the machine itself is great, we have no use for it. If you intend to keep a machine forever, this may not be a good review to go on. But, if you ever decide to get rid of it, have fun trying to get a person to take care of it. read more

I have to re-write my review as to why this is the worst company I have ever worked with because it didn't have enough content. But warning people is worth the extra time and effort. I have never had to wait so long, spend so much money, and be so frustrated trying to cancel services. Over two years of paying monthly bills was cheaper than paying the early termination fee. Imagine that, 2 years being cheaper. As the machines gathered dust it was still cheaper then canceling outright, all to be charged 3 grand when they assumed the machines were lost since postage was never added even though I requested multiple notes to be posted to account that the account was inactive and to be cancelled as soon as possible. Months later I am still be charged a termination fee, after waiting 2 years to avoid such fees... and everytime I call they say there are no notes on the account and I have to send them their own emails back to them as proof. I leased the PostBase 30 4 years ago, and I like the unit and it works well. We have been using second party ink for 4 years with no problems. $75 v. $265 for ink, a no brainer. On our last ink replacement, the software now says non conforming ink cartridge and will not work. Reports as "no ink in cartridge" Obviously, FP has done a software change to reject second party ink cartridges. I would not have a problem with that IF their ink price was reasonable. It is not. So I will be returning it at the end of the contract (with more than 90 day notice) and go elsewhere. Very sad for the company read more

They have the worse customer services that I have ever encountered. On an average it takes over 30 minutes to get a representative on the phone. I've endured more than two years of bad services. Everyday we had to constantly reboot the postage machine to work. Even after I canceled the service I spent over a months trying in vain to get a return to address. As of this writing I haven't received the address. Finally out of frustration I shipped it back to the corporate office. I should be a saint. read more

I will start off by saying, I never had a big issue with customer service, but the machine itself was horrible. It was extremely loud, always needed to be "rebooted", scale didn't work properly half the time and the ink was very expensive compared to other machines out there, and please be aware of the 90 day notice to cancel your contract. So if your contract is up in March make sure you have given notice by November. read more

There is absolutely NO customer service or redeemable qualities or core values associated with this company. We started using FP the first of December (THIS YEAR). so far, I have been on hold trying to resolve issues with the machine for over a total 8 hours. Guess what? We still can't use it. I am busy. I do not have time to be on hold for hours every other week, most of the time I have to just hang up because I can't sit here on hold all day. it is always 19-25 callers ahead of me. The only way we actually got through to anyone was pushing the new customer selection on the menu. they sent a new machine out and guess what. the old one (that was less than a month old) was locked up so I couldn't take it out of commission as the instructions stated. I hooked up the new one and go through the lengthy process of setting it up and then it is locked as well and again I need to call customer service. The sales rep was adamant about the fact that we could buy ink from anywhere. We were NOT required to buy their overpriced ink cartridges. Well GUESS WHAT, the new cartridge we purchased from another source will not work in the machine. Our IT guy says the machine is designed to reject it! You can't return this product so we spent $80.00 on 2 cartridges we cannot use or return and now have to spend $150. for ONE more to get one that will work. I asked specific questions before I signed the 24 month contract with them. I was given what I wanted to hear as answers. I thought Pitney Bowes had bad customer service. this tops the bunch. at least their machines worked! This machine has been down more than up in the first month...not off to a good start. Quadient says they can get me out of this contract. Am seriously considering it! LIKE SERIOUSLY!!! read more

I should have read the reviews before I switched from my Pitney Bowes Mail Station2 to the My Mail meter by FP. This has been nothing but a headache, For the few dollars I save a month it has cost me at least 50 times as much in time. Three people in our office use the meter and everyone of us have trouble with it. I have talked to customer service at least 5 times and I have to say every time they come up with fix. But it is always a different problem, and the fix they gave me today will not fix the problem I have tomorrow. Today I called to return the meter and they said it was past the 30 day trial period and I would have to pay for not only returning the meter the extra ink cartridge I bought, over $80.00, forfeit $25.00 of the postage I had loaded in the machine and they would bill me for the entire 12 month agreement. PS: They do have a record of my all of my calls but that does not seem to make a difference. My advice again don't walk away from this company run. I am going to send this comment to their competition. They should be able to get some great mileage out of it. read more

FP Mailing Solutions has been a headache to work with since day one of our year contract. The postage meter itself is constantly having issues and is not user friendly, every other day it was reading a different error code and of course the only way to fix the problem is to call the customer service line. In our 3 month time with FP we have gone through two postage meters, and neither lived up to the description FP gives their postage meters. Our direct contact at FP could never help and always transferred us to a different department, which would end up as a 45 minute + hold time just to end as a string of transfers and a terrible customer service experience from every department. Their customer service is appalling to say the least, there cancelation department was completely unfazed by the fact that a customer that has only been with them for three months would much rather pay the contract cancelation fee and return their meter than continue to use the meter for the remaining life of the contract. To make matters worse, they did not try to remedy the situation or offer any solutions, not sure why this surprised us considering every experience with them has been equally terrible if not worse! I would never recommend FP Mailing solutions to anyone! read more

Update: I've decided to return my machine early. They want to cover the machine for $2-3000 insurance when shipped. The machine is probably worth couple hundred. I've decided to get the insurance anyways just bc I know they a shady company and will probably report damage just to collect on the insurance. It costs me more to send these machines back. More to buy ink for these new machines. I rather stamp my own envelopes which is about 100 pieces of mail a day than deal with these guys. These people are seriously a piece of work and I've had many others contact me expressing mutual feelings. Don't deal with this company. There is too many other companies that are mediocre to deal with this atrocity. ------------------------------------------------- Worst customer service ever. Their contracts are very shady and lock you into automatic one year renewals. They are very deceitful and I would never work with another company that relies on shady contracts to keep their customer base. Their machines are slow and the ink is expensive. It's much faster just putting stamps on the letter yourself. I would never recommend anyone to them and I am surprised they are still in business. Maybe they have big business accounts because I don't think any small office or business would benefit from their cost, customer service and attitude. I would not recommend using FP Mailing Solutions. We have been a customer since 2011. The machines are ok (T1000 & MyMail), it does what it is supposed to do but is very slow. The ink cartridge replacements are over $100 and they have a chip that automatically stops working at a certain imprint number, no matter whether the cartridge is fine or not. The main reason that I would not recommend is that they have a yearly auto renew policy that kicks in with a 90 day (Yes, 90 days!) notice of cancellation required. Auto-renew is fine if they give you warning that this is going to happen. However, FP sent us a notice in mid January that our term was up at the next billing term and that our price was going up. I contacted them to see about returning the machine. I was told that our contract had been extended to April 2020. I said but I do not want to renew and he said that I would of had to let them know in December that we did not want to auto renew. If we decide to terminate before the April 2020 they will still bill us for the entire amount of their contract. This is a sneaky and underhanded practice that should not be allowed. read more

The Customer Service dept has been very helpful, but the Technical support is horrible. Dan Fotopoulos acted as if I was the most ignorant person he had ever talked to. our Company ordered a new postage machine and I was trying to hook it up via Wi-Fi per the instructions. After four hours I gave up and called their tech support. All he did was start asking me if I hooked it up according to the Wi-Fi directions and then starting asking me all kinds of technical questions. After I asked him to slow down and walk me thru it. Which I did and it still wouldn't hook up to the internet. He then asked me what the error code was, and I told him and he told me I had to call up our IT support because it was a firewall problem. We don't have a firewall on our Wi-Fi. But he was in such a hurry he just told me he was going to send me a white list and I still don't know what I am supposed to do with this. I am so frustrated at this moment as I have been working on this all morning. I have other work to do so I will call them back tomorrow and hopefully get someone who wants to help. Donna I read more

PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! Below is a legal letter I had to write to Mike Hannon of FP Mailing because of the TERRIBLE service this company provides: Due to the fact that you have yet to return a single one of my phone calls or emails over the past several weeks I'm left to assume that my case and account with FP Mailing in now closed due to your silence. I want this email to also be a legal record of my final attempt to reach you. Let me also remind you of the timeline and issues I've had with FP over the past few months: At the end of August I signed with FP to have a My Mail postage meter delivered to my office in Algonquin, IL Since then I've had 3 of those meters changed out due to "internal errors" with the units software. I was actually without a working meter during this time more than I was with a working meter. After the 3 meter broke down on me I called FP customer service on October 30th to let them know I wanted out of my contract since this was not the kind of service I was promised. I was then connect to the Cancellations Department and spoke with Stephanie Martin. She told me FP was having in issues with that type of postage meter and she would upgrade me to a different postage meter, an Optimail 30 meter, for the same price I was paying. After a couple of days I called back and spoke with Stephanie Martin and asked her why I hadn't received the new meter yet. She told me it could take up to 2 weeks to receive. I then told her in an email I was at the height of my busy season and can't wait 2 weeks for a meter to arrive. It was also in this email I told her to cancel the deliver of the new meter, to pick up the broken meter and to cancel my contract. Since that time she stopped emailing me back. I have the email records of me emailing her without any response. In the meantime I started doing some research online about FP through sites like Yelp, Better Business Bureau, RipoffReport.com and GlassDoor.com to name a few. It seems like FP has a disturbing culture of terrible customer service to say the least. Deceptive practices seem to be prevalent within your company. So at this point started to put the pieces together of why I wasn't getting any kind of response from the Cancellation Dept. at FP. On November 6th I spoke to another person in the Cancellation Dept. who told me the ONLY way to solve this issue was to speak with you. She then connected me to your voice mail and I left you my contact information and a brief description of my issue on your voice mail. You never returned that call. On about November 9th the Optimail 30 postage meter I told Stephanie Martin to cancel arrive at my office (remember I have documentation telling her not to ship this). To add insult to injury I also received a shipping invoice from FP for the amount of $32.33 for the meter. On November 18th I drove to the FP offices in Addison and was met with a person by the name of Joe Tram. I had with me both meters, the broken MyMini and the Optimail 30. I told him that no one at FP was returning my emails or calls and that I decided to make the hour drive to return these meters. Joe told me he was in service but that he could receive back the meters for me. He took me back into his office and gave me a signed receipt for the 2 postage meters. Once again, as far as closing my account he told me I would have to speak with you. On November 19th I called FP and was lucky enough to get Stephanie Marin on the phone, she of course told me she had no memory of my issue with my meters of FP in general. In fact her demeanor became very cold and short with me when I presented her with the facts including my correspondence with her. I was once again told by her that I would have to have to speak with you and she would give you the message since you were "in a meeting." On November 20th I called you directly and left you yet another voice mail to contact me to resolve this issue. As of today I'm still waiting for your call back. Finally, yesterday I received an invoice (attached) for $462.32 for billing on the Optimail 30 meter which I returned (actually cancelled before it was shipped). Let me make this crystal clear, I don't know what that invoice if for but I will not be paying that or for the other shipping bill of $32.33 for a meter which I never wanted shipped to me. I also want to make it clear that I no longer have possession of any FP postage meters. Thirdly, I have been without a working postage meter longer than I was with a working meter. This was not the service I was promised, in fact, I believe FP to be responsible for their fraudulent actions (or lack of action). I will still extend to you one final offer to call me to resolve this issue, but if history is an indicator, I'm not holding my breath that will ever happen. I'm also copying my attorney, Joe Agnello, on this email so that he is made fully aware of the facts of this case." read more
