Wow! Fantastic crispy crust, top notch ingredients and flavor combos! The Sampler is the way to go! Little Hottie is a Lotta Hottie and quite marvelous! What the Duck was lip smacking with the sweetness from onions, spicy fresh jalapeño, fresh mozzarella and duck sausage. Really doesn't get much better than Fralo's. Ok to say that the food is delicious here is an understatement. I love coming here on a sunny day, cold day or rainy day. I know the atmosphere will always be great for a date night or family day. The quinoa pizza is a great alternative when you want to stay on track. But I know that no matter what crust I get the pizza is going to be outstanding. We like the shrimp baja pizza and the nutty pizza YUMMM!!! But we always start with some goat cheese. This was my first visit to Fralo's & it was amazing! The setup is super cozy & made me feel at home. The servers were so nice & very attentive, they also brought out a bowl of water with chunky ice for my dog without having to ask. I went here on a Friday night with a friend. They were quite crowded so it's definitely a popular spot! The wooden tables are outside so the weather really needs to be comfortable in order to enjoy the stay. They had live music which may have unfortunately actually been too loud! However, we had good service with a relaxed atmosphere! We brought our own wine and ordered the Mediterranean pizza with chicken. This was amazing! Definitely a pizza for veggie/Greek lovers. We had a red wine blend and it was a pretty great pairing! Cold nights don't happen often here in south Texas but unfortunately it was a chilly night for us. Since it was chilly our pizza got cold pretty fast. I think an idea worth trying is having a flame under the pizza tray when brought out? Maybe that will help keep the pizza warm while the customers eat! Some tips for when you go: take a coat, jacket, sweater if going when it's chilly because you absolutely have to sit outside. Maybe even consider a blanket! If it's hot outside go when it's cooler! Some of the tables are not covered by shade. Wait staff was extremely attentive until the restaurant started getting busy, then a fresh beverage was difficult to get. The food was excellent: pizza for the table and a dish of pasta for three adults. Add a bottle of wine and two beers and you're quickly over $100. Now if I can get a decent table to sit at outside - the "rustic" picnic tables are a big minus for a business trying to be upscale in an upscale neighborhood. We tried Fralos for the first time last night. Welcoming outdoor ambiance perfect for a first date or night out with the family with live music, string lights, and casual big square dining tables. A mistake was made on our order but it ended up being a happy mistake because we were able to work on our mistake pizza while our order was corrected and we had lots of left overs to bring home. I'm enjoying some now which is what prompted me to write his review! Our server was very attentive and did a great job making us feel like we hadn't been forgotten. I ordered chicken wings with ranch. I went to go pick it up and was handed the order. When I got to my car, I checked to see if the ranch dressing was included. It was not. So I went back in and the lady told me that they had run out of ranch. So to sum it up, they didn't include it with the order, and then they expected me to drive away without noticing. Sorry, that's not how this works. And that was after tipping for the order which really didn't make much sense to begin with. All they had to do was explain to me that they ran out of ranch. I have been to this place years apart and i can honestly say it gets better everytime. They have definitely grown since my last visit which is a huge plus. They have an outside area that is beautiful during the day or at night. The space is big which allows for kids to play and they have a space for live music which i believe comes in weekends. The staff is so nice and they come around so often to get you what you need. The pizza is great along with there wings. The greatest part is that you can bring your own drinks. He was fantastic-George made sure we had everything we needed to accommodate our party of 40. The owner even allowed us to set up a party tent at the last minute due to a cool front that came in over night. They had more than enough space to seat everyone comfortably.
