We were told 60-90 minutes, seemed long, but worth it. Well It took two and a half hours. Three crying children and a ruined evening. Several phone calls seemed to land on deaf ears. I've yet to have a bad dish here at Francescas. There food is delicious and their portions....healthy! In Italian, healthy means large! Their staff is very nice. Try their 2 for $28 specials on Tuesdays....what a great deal. The 2 get specials change each month so it always less to more variety. Their pizzas are awesome and the baked dishes, out of this world. They deliver too!! I'm home now resting, thus dinner is unbelievably huge. Food is not anything special and is definitely not authentic Italian, really expensive, service is not great tables are always dirty. Amanda behind the counter is very rude, no where to park, and just too expensive. Could eat at Mama Lambardi's for the same price. read more

My favorite pizza place in Hampton Bays! They make what I feel is the true Long Island style pizza that, in my opinion, is the best kind of pizza around. Ordered hero's with extra sauce on the side and got hero's with no sauce! They put all the sauce on the side. Got home opened the food and realized it. The cheese was all melted but with no sauce inside it was really dry. There was no fixing it. I couldn't make it back to get a new one so I asked for a refund. The other person tried to eat their sandwich with the side sauce but they were unable to. They said they couldn't refund without getting the item(s) back. I offered for them to come with delivery but in the end they hung up. I've ordered here many times and never had a problem. But now that there is an issue with my order the customer service is lacking. Well, they lost a customer now. $35 for 2 hero's lost them a lot more business from us bc we ordered there all the time. Great family restaurant, always visit when we visit family in the Hampton bay neighborhood.

I have to say after trying to give this place every chance I'm done. I go in every few days and get 2 slices of cheese and a drink. My check comes out to 11 and I give 15. The last 4 times I've gone in here they've forgot my pizza in the oven and had to remake...today after 20 minutes I walk over to see how much longer...she had zero response and just decided to cut 2 more slices thinking this was okay. Food here is good, there's no question about it. Even garlic rolls are outrageous here. But they nickle and dime you it seems every 3 months in the form of constantly and aggressively increasing prices. You hear one price at the counter when you ask but it prints higher on the receipt (?) Your prices go up so frequently the girls at the counter can't keep up. And you get attitude when you ask about the receipt (?) Seriously, people are willing to pay $7 for coffee at starbucks because it comes with exceptional service, not "I'm not happy at work so leave me alone" type of a response. Nonetheless, a slice with chicken $6.5 ?? seriously, for a $7 slice you better train all your girls to be super polite at the counter, whether the customer questions the charge or not. Instead of blaming it on the cash register. Take responsibility for how you interact with the customer and what information you give them. (And maybe learn basic math since that's also missing from training). From reviews online it seems like counter-help has an ongoing issue with attitude (not everyone). I really like the pizza here. But price gauging people is wrong. 29 dollars for a pepperoni pizza and 40 for a margarita pizza is absurd. And this doesn't include the tip I would obviously give. While the food here is good and the staff is nice, there are NO prices listed anywhere in the restaurant, not even on the menus! You never know how much a specialty slice is, heck, ANY kind of slice! How can there be menus with no prices?! Have never seen anything like it; whenever you want to try something new, you have to ask "How much is this? How much is that?" I recently met a friend at Francesca's for lunch. She has a house in Hampton Bays and I was not aware of the popularity of Francesca's. I was given the impression it was more of a coffee place but i was misinformed. It is really a full service Italian restaurant. Their menu is extensive including appetizers [hot and cold] fresh salads, pastas, chicken, veal and seafood specialties and pizzas. They also have a coffee bar and a gelateria with an extensive selection of gelatos. There is room to sit down within the restaurant and there is an outdoor area as well. They do a great deal of takeout which we observed in the time we were there. My friend ordered the antipasto salad which was substantial and I got pizza. Both meals were delicious. It is pricey but the food is very good and there is a lot of it. [My friend was able to have half of the antipasto salad for lunch and took the rest home for another meal later that day] It is a large space-it had been smaller but then extended into a space adjacent to it I was told recently. It is very clean and spacious and the staff is accommodating and attentive. I would recommend and return. read more

Eggplant rollatini 4. Garlic knots 5. Chicken Francaise The tray of chicken francaise had absolutely no Francaise sauce in it so we had to make it separately to add to tray. Veg Lasagna was also missing a sauce so basically was inedible. Rest of the food was ok and Cesar Salad was the most appetizing. How does a chef make these 2 dishes without the primary ingredient is beyond me. In any event we will definitely be back for Pizza for sure however as far as catering... forget about it! read more

Their food is good. Unfortunately, the women working the registers are rude and unprofessional. I stopped in for a pie over the weekend and surprisingly the line wasn't long but the young gal at the register was much more interested in servicing the college students. Therefore, I waited almost ten minutes to simply pick up an order that was phoned in. Needless to say, this wasn't my first experience there. It's always the snobbish, slam your credit card on the counter type of service. I'll take my $ and business elsewhere.
