With out a doubt, best pizza in Plainfield. The extra thin is my favorite, they get it nice and crispy without burning it. Love it!!

Great place! We gave it a try tonight after looking online for somewhere local and different to try some pasta. The food was great and the customer service was out of this world. Even thought it's about a 10-15 minute drive they earned our business. We tried the Gnocchi, Spaghetti and Lasagna. We will be back. read more

Ordered two thins and wings, frozen wings, blah but that's what you get from a pizza place. The pizza was good, not great, just good. The thin was chewy, not crispy as others have reported. Last month we moved closer to Franco's pizza and friend suggested we try them one night. I have no idea why we had never heard of them before. I think because we were closer to 59 we just always went to Rosati's or Vita Bella's but absolutely love Franco's pizza! Lived in South Plainfield for 2 1/2 years and just found them. Whether it's the thin crust or the regular crust it's delicious. And even even better reheated the next day. We always order extra. If you haven't tried them you don't know what you are missing. 1) love the pizza, great fresh toppings. I love their crust, how come every piece can't have crust attached? Sorry, being silly there. 2) friendly. Franco is a nice guy. Everyone always jumps and gets you taken care of. Customers are a priority. 3) Not always easy to get to, sometimes the parking lot is full, Not their fault. 4) Did not like the tiramisu, and was told by friends that I might have had the authentic Italian tiramisu which is different than what I normally get. 5) looking forward to trying other things, but for now I'm stuck on their pizza. At first, ordering from Franco's was fantastic. I have zero complaints about the food. The thin pizza crust is amazing and the vodka pasta sauce is unlike anywhere else. BUT what brings my rating down is the customer service. I had ordered delivery and the worker answering the phone didn't seem too knowledgable regarding the menu, so when my pasta arrived I was disappointed to see that it was not what I had ordered. Upon calling back to tell Franco's another worker apologized and decided to credit me the full amount of the order for the next time I decided to order from them. A few days later I was craving the pasta I had not received the first time. When I explained my credit this time to whoever was on the other side of the line I was responded to rudely and left with this, "I wouldn't even credit my family that much, I can only give you $7." Well, no thanks. Keep your $7 and keep your awesome customer service. I will no longer be ordering from Franco's. read more

We have had two parties catered from Franco's; my daughter's baptism (30 guests) and her 1st birthday (70 guests). The food is nothing short of fantastic. Both times we went with the same menu, because the food was so good and a true crowd pleaser. We ordered the fried chicken, tortellini with vodka sauce, sausage peppers and potatoes, salad, meatballs and mostaciolli. Everything was awesome and the amount of food is very generous. We sent most guests home with to go containers and still had a lot of leftovers. Fried chicken and vodka sauce are some of the best out there. Our guests all raved about the food and had to know where we got it from. The value is also great, we quoted other places for the birthday party and could not beat the value we got from Franco's given the fantastic quality. Highly recommend for both quality and value. Franco's has become our go-to place for real Chicago style pizza - not deep dish pizza. We typically order a large or family sized half sausage/pepperoni, and can attest that these ingredients as we'll as quality cheese, a well balanced sauce, and a just-under crispy crust are served to perfection each and every time. We appreciate the consistency from Franco's. It's close enough to home for pick up for us, and I always am able to use the $3 off coupon that comes with each previous order, making it an excellent value for a family of 5. My family has been ordering from Franco's since they opened, so about 5 years now. These negative comments on here are ludicrous saying that the food is mush, I know Franco would never send out a pizza if it was not close to perfect. Franco catered two graduation parties for my family with at least 80 people at both and there was not a single complaint about the food, everyone loved it. Franco's even there on Christmas Eve for people to pick up orders for the holidays. The pizza and pasta are always excellent and made to order. When we order for delivery it's always the same friendly faces dropping off the food as well as with the phone girls when we pick up. When an order is occasionally messed up, which happens because we're human, Franco never hesitates to give us a discount, a credit, or even a free pizza next time we order. It's a fantastic family owned restaurant. I highly recommend it. read more
