The original designer provided a quote to fix it, but after two way shipping with insurance, it would have cost a fortune. The husband and wife team here matched the price, minus the shipping and handling fees. The repair was finished in a matter of days. Communication was excellent and the proprietor was a gentleman who put the restored necklace back on me so I wouldn't have to futz around with the clasp. After a day or two, I received a phone call from them and was told that unfortunately, their watchmaker had determined that it needed a part that was no longer available. When I came in to pick up the watch, I discovered that they had cleaned and polished it, repaired the band, and put it in a presentation box for me to have as a keepsake-- all at no charge. I was very impressed with this kind gesture and I ended up coming back to buy a new watch from them. Lambrecht's is a great family-owned business.

There was someone there already getting a watch battery replaced. So, while waiting, I walked around admiring their clocks and watches. They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. Fun store with good service.
