    Breakfast special

Came here to have breakfast with my sister and the whole experience was HORRIBLE! Our server Leo, (woman) was very rude and short with us. We asked her for hot water and we got warm, we asked for hot syrup and we never got it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Don't expect a quiet brunch, it's family friendly so expect loudness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you looking for something to drink (alcohol wise) menu is very limited and weak. If you do decide to come and Leo is your waitress ask for another one unless you want to deal with her attitude.

This is how you know the food good cause ain't none left on this plate almost just about.

There is a server named Christian and he is the best server ever super nice super sweet very accommodating. Everything I ordered was perfect and he was super respectful and as always, I always give him a great tip.

I heard so much about Frans's Grill that I had to stop by to see what the talk was all about. I ordered the shrimp and grits with everything on it. It was delicious but super spicy. I like ve my food spicy but this one got me. I had to get another order of grits and eggs and bacon to cook it down. I'll definitely be back. Ten stars.

Great food for a very affordable price!!! They give more food than anyone is able to eat in one setting and it's very fresh! I love coming to franks for good ole home cooked breakfast away from home. I love their waffles, pancakes, grits & fried fish! They never have a wait and it's always good customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would say they can do better about having the tables cleaned thoroughly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Other than that I'll always recommend Franks for breakfast or brunch!

I ordered breakfast this morning via third-party delivery. I ordered a kid's breakfast with eggs, ham and grits. I also ordered a side of French toast. The food arrived promptly and was still hot. The restaurant also sent a brown bag with containers of syrup, powdered sugar, and butter. I guess my only quibble would be that the ham/egg/grits breakfast was supposed to be a kid's breakfast, but I was charged for and received an adult portion. I understand that sometimes things get lost in translation when you use a third-party. All in all, I was happy with the taste of my food , especially the light and fluffy French toast.

I come here often. I am an early bird & i know that they open at 7am. I'm usually in there around 9am . When dinning in you seat yourself, the staff is always quick to come over & service you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today they were playing music which was nice to have in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the waffles & wings! which are my fav!! that waffle is always made to perfection & the CHICKEN IS FRIED AMAZINGLY! Franks will always hold a special place in my heart!

Frank's is always my first choice for a big breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Big portions with great service.

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

I was surprised to find a lengthy wait when I arrived on a Monday (holiday) for breakfast. Inside the restaurant, it's small and tightly packed with diner tables, but nice wall decor. The menu had typical American breakfast fare. We ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs ($14.95) and the Breakfast Plate ($13.95). The Breakfast Plate came with two eggs, bacon, potatoes, and biscuit. The potatoes were plentiful, crispy and delicious. The biscuit had honey on it...I liked it. The eggs and bacon were good. The Corned Beef Hash was just okay. There were thin, small pieces of corned beef scattered among a sea of good breakfast potatoes. The dish was topped with two fried eggs and toast. It felt like I just ordered egg, potatoes, and toast because there wasn't much corned beef. They also had outdoor seating, but it was raining pretty heavy that day. Our server was John and he was cool. Overall, good breakfast food if you are looking for a breakfast or brunch spot.

Servers dressed up and ready to serve ginormous portions of whatever you want for breakfast or lunch. Bring a large appetite. Large size sweet and sour pickles come 1st to table .
