This was found INSIDE of my sandwich from Frank's Trattoria in Byram. It is a bristle to a brass wire brush used to clean their stovetop. The owner Marco didn't seem to think it was a big deal, so I'll let you guys be the judge. Marco laughed regarding the whole situation and insisted that I found it in the container. "If you want your money, you can come down and take it out of my pocket." - Marco Nice to see that this is how Marco conducts his business. I have gone to Frank's for as long as I can remember, and I can tell you that I will never go back. I suggest going to Firehouse Pizza in Andover if you don't want metal in your food, and want consistently good food with the service to match. Marco, if you see this, I tried to be nice about the whole situation, but you and your employees made this way bigger than it had to be. A simple apology and a refund would have been fine, but you decided to argue that this piece of metal wasn't in the sandwich(it was) and fought tooth and nail to keep the money I paid you for a meal that didn't contain metal. Please make others aware of the disgusting practices this business conducts. I can tell you right here and right now that the good reviews for this place are bull. I've lived in Byram all of my life and their food really isn't that good at all. It's subpar at best. There are at least 4 Italian restaurants within a stones throw from this place. The only reason it has good reviews is because their customers are loyal. Not because they have good food. I can say that because I was one of them, up until this happened. Absolutely disgusting treatment of the people who are paying your bills. read more

Glad to see Frank's holding on, still open for take-out only but I do miss sitting in a restaurant and enjoying the ambience- until that day comes (and I believe it will), I will continue to support small establishments like Franks. In a large strip mall Franks is nestled next to Shoprite. For the middle of nowhere they produce fantastic pizza and standard Italian fare. Capellini with white clamsauce, eggplant parm and pasta bolognese are standouts..along with their free garlic bread....mm good! read more

Very disappointing meal . My veal was fatty , thick and tough . The linguine was so under cooked it was still crunchy . My dinner companions meal lobster ravioli was under cooked and freezer burned. . Even the garlic bread was weird. It consisted of two bottoms of the bread. Never again ! read more

The prices are outrageous and seem to change on the exact same items from on week to the next. If I could , I would rate zero stars. It's a shame because the food isn't half bad. However the management is TERRIBLE. A good indication of this is how they treat their employees. They constantly scream at the waitresses aggressively and in full view of the customers. It's uncomfortable and after seeing it the third time I simply stopped going. I've been coming here since I was a kid. They have the best pasta fagioli I can find! Today I left two bottles of my beer on the table. I noticed a few minutes later so we went back in to grab them and they told me they were thrown away in the trash behind me. We looked in the trash can and only saw the four empty bottles we had drank out of the six (two that we hadn't opened). I understand if they cannot legally give us back the beer we left, but don't lie to my face, especially when the evidence is clear between the missing bottles and the look on the waitresses face. It was my fault that I forgot them, and it was only two bottles. But I'm upset they decided to lie to my face and obviously decided to keep the two bottles for themselves. read more

Fantastic meals. Came in for dinner and all four meals were great. We had ravioli, stuffed shells, mussels and clams in white sauce and manicotti. Portions were right, temperature was perfect and there were no leftovers. Garlic bread and salads were good too. Service was prompt and the price is hard to beat. Honestly, for the money we really like this place. The food is really good. The pizza is good and not much to complain about. I've had many business lunches here and my guests have never been disappointed. It is our go-to place when good affordable food is on the menu. We've trusted them for over six years in a row. OH MY GOODNESS! First time here, second time at a Frank's joint. Their pizza is yummy, filling and just right. If you're a chicken fan you should try the BBQ Chicken pizza, or the buffalo chicken if you like yours spicy. All my friends and family loved the pizza, even the picky ones!
