Mongolian Beef with Chow Mein and egg roll from Special Luncheon menu.
    Debbi D.

Stopped in Wednesday to have lunch. Ordered Mongolian Beef off the Special Luncheon menu. I immediately noticed that the price had been reduced...YAY! Meal comes with cup of soup, choice of entree, choice of chow mein or fried rice and egg role. Staff was very attentive but not annoying. I took half of the meal home to eat for dinner as there was so much. Really love this place...been coming here since they first opened. If I drove I would go more often. No delivery is available.

Fried pork. See, I was so hungry that I didn't get a chance to take photos.

My cousins kept talking about their fried pork so we decided to stop by. For the longest time, we never knew this place existed until a month ago where the other cousin brought some of their food for a family party. Came here on a random weekend night. There wasn't much of a crowd but there were a lot of people doing take out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of parking outside and inside was nice and simple and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got seated right away and were given water and were asked if we wanted tea, which we ordered. Nothing to write home about. I think this was one of those times where I didn't take a photo of the food. I was either super hungry or super distracted. But we ordered so many dishes and really the star of the show here are their fried dishes - fried pork, fried shrimp, fried chicken wings and fried fish. It was something about their batter that's so airy and light and not oily at all. It was also just enough flavor that you're starting to question how did they make it so so good. It was life changing to me that I have requested to visited this place anytime I'm in town. It was just so delicious! The hot and sour soup was excellent because it actually had a lot of wood ear mushrooms, tofu, bamboo shoots and egg. It had the right about of tart and a little bit of spice. We also ordered some wonton soup that was filled with so much vegetables and so many wontons. The wontons were plump and good flavor. We also ordered some green beans and those were still fresh and green, with a crunch. We also ordered some green beans with chicken. The chicken was nice and soft and the green beans were crunchy, it was a great balance of textures. The flavor was excellent and you can either eat it by itself or eat it with rice. There were a couple more dishes but I forgot what they were. In addition, we were all hungry and we didn't get to take a photo of the food. Will definitely come back here again and again. It's just too good - the fried pork and fish and shrimp and chicken. Can't want to go back! So so good!

DO NOT EAT HERE Ordered food for takeout. Drove from San Jose and back home. While eating and feeding my kids I found a cockroach in the plate. It was so disgusting that I ran to the bathroom and starting vomiting NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!!!

Hubby and I were craving for Chinese food and we always see Frannie's as it's right across the street from us. We decided to stop by there to grab some food after grocery shopping, as it is right before we hit home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the outside it doesn't look much, but the inside was quite nice and big.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in and looked at their menu to see what we wanted to order. The staff member was kind and didn't rush us as we took our time to decide. We ordered quite a few things so that we were able to have leftovers. We ordered salt & pepper spareribs, honey walnut prawns, beef & broccoli, orange chicken, hot & spicy tofu (with meat), bbq pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. They told us it'll be a bit of wait, so we decided to head home to put away groceries while we wait for the food. After about 20 minutes, we walked over to pick it up. Everything was delicious! Hubby and I really enjoyed everything. Flavors was just right! We will definitely be coming back here for more!

Food is big portion, taste good, service a bit rude because of the language barrier, overall experience tho is still good. Worth the price.

    Christina H.

Thought the server could have been friendly feel like she kinda rude when we say good bye to her and the food taste kinda salty and too much sauce and look like the food been sitting kinda long so not sure it great to eat there but if I have to say less salt and sauce and server has to be more friendlier, [[HIGHLIGHT]]it also kinda quiet there no music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] so yea the time we got there kinda late lunch

    A cockroach in the food

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD. I went with my family after picking them up from the airport on july 31 2025. I ordered a chicken katsu and found a LIVE COCKROACH in the sweet and sour sauce. After telling the waiter they were very nasty and rude about the whole situation. She then told us she'll "bring out another sauce" and that "sometimes this happens bc they're running around in the back".... but "the SAUCE doesn't have any IN the bottle.. "Disgusting. DONT COME HERE THEY HAVE LIVE COCKROACHES. DISGUSTING.

    Sesame chicken with fried rice!

The staff told her we wouldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. About 4 people were late, but they still seated us. The restaurant kind of felt old and somewhat dirty. But hey, it was my dad's birthday. I wasn't paying for lunch. We occupied three tables and ordered from both the lunch and dim sum menus. I enjoyed dishes like shiu mai, pork buns, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fish, and fried noodles. The sesame balls were tasty, but the service was slow, and I had to follow up on our order. I didn't care for the bun with the hot dog or the other noodle dish. Later that day, my daughter mentioned she had found hair in a pork bun and that her cousin had eaten it. She also said every item he picked up had hair on it, which was disappointing. I didn't confirm this with my cousin, but it would have been helpful to have someone inform the staff. Fortunately, no one at our table found hair in their food, which was a relief. Overall, the food that I ate was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip from San Jose to visit again...unless it's a fambam family treat.

We ordered the sizzling rice soup, dry-fried string beans, garlic eggplant, garlic chicken, mao pao tofu, gindo piguot (not sure how to spell it in English), and crispy seafood noodles. Their gindo piguot (sweet and sour short rib I think) really stood out and we ended up ordering 2 of them. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including chicken salad, chow mein, fried rice, honey prawns, teriyaki steak, dried spare ribs, Peking spare ribs, garlic green beans, salt and pepper chicken wings, egg rolls, and basil fish. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and served hot. A standout for me was the pomegranate margarita from the bar. It was refreshing, well balanced, and paired perfectly with the meal. Between the beautiful banquet space, attentive service, and excellent food, Chef's Bistro made for a memorable celebration. I can't wait to come back and experience more of the menu.

Asia delight is a humble "point point" combo based Chinese food place. Think authentic Panda Express. Super affordable place where you can get a 2 item combo with chow mein/fried rice for $12.49. My go to is Chow mein, Chinese pork bbq, and the black pepper beef. This location appears to be the only one that carries the Chinese pork bbq. On the side my wife and I split either the salt n pepper fish or chicken wings. A medium gets you about 6-8 pieces of chicken wings. Super solid and they don't skimp on the amount on anything. So the value is there! Low key is enough to spread out into two meals. Staff is direct and efficient. Quick with packing up your items and moving it to the cashiers for you to pay out. They have about 4-6 tables inside with chairs/slide in bench's. Basically a quick spot to grab food and eat or take it to go.

Prepared foods are on a steam table or under hot lights. You pick a meal combo, and they serve it onto foam trays. Then they suggestive sell add-on's and drinks. The formula for success is simple: - tasty food, big portions, and affordable prices. People rave about this place on social media, so I have to come check it out. So it's Friday around dinner time. I'm cruising on Hesperian Blvd in the right lane. I pass the Valero station and realize.....this is where Asia Delight is! They have a dining area with 4-6 small square tables. But the tables looked dirty, and the whole place looked untidy. But the steam table counter looked beautiful. It was loaded with hot food and each tray seemed to be full. Two ladies and one young man were serving. The young man did a good job taking and serving orders. I decide to get the Combo B for $9.45. - fried rice/ chow mein + 2 entrees I got fried rice, black bean spare ribs, chicken w/ string beans in gravy. How was it? No flavor! I don't use the word "bland" very often. Geez, I didn't know there was a shortage of soy sauce, sesame oil and salt & pepper. Maybe chili oil will help. Would I come back? No thanks

I take all of my pictures with my phone, but I generally write my reviews on my laptop where I have a full keyboard to work with. The first two visits, my wife went in while I waited outside with the dog. This time, I was travelling solo. I had been out and about and decided to pick up some grub for dinner. Our first visit, we got some Chicken Wings and absolutely loved them. Our second visit, we got more Chicken Wings, but we couldn't remember which ones we had gotten the first time. We didn't enjoy them quite the same at the first time. To resolved the issue, this time I ordered two different types of Chicken Wings. Did we solve the problem? Maybe? Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings (4) - While the wings were excellent, we felt that overall, the dish was too salty. Deep Fried Chicken Wings (5) - Once again, excellent wings. Without the add-on Salt, Peppers and Garlic, these were more to our liking, though some Garlic would have been nice. Fish Fillet with Black Bean Sauce - (5) - I grew up eating fresh fish from live tanks in Chinese Restaurants. They were either cooked with Black Bean Sauce or Ginger & Scallion. Post COVID, many restaurants have done away with their live tanks. Frozen fillets will never taste or feel like freshly dispatched fish, but these were pretty decent. Assorted Seafood Chow Fun (5) - Fish, Calamari and Shrimp. Used to be a time where you could expect a scallop or two, but those days are mostly gone. While this restaurant used to have dine-in service, it appears to be take-out only now. Service was relatively fast and efficient. The food is solid. We'll definitely be back.
