After a good round of golf on a Sunday, they definitely know how to lure you in, $3 tap beers with your scorecard, why not? Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. The service was underwhelming; our server was very quick and somewhat impersonal didn't catch his name, but I believe he's in one of the photos with his back facing us while he's ringing up check. The food was mediocre at best. The chili was lukewarm, and the "infamous" shrimp egg rolls had a very small filling, with only okay flavor. The highlight was definitely the Sheffler Burger - topped with pepper jack, black pepper bacon, fried jalapenos and onions, finished with an Old Bay aioli. It was tasty, but unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by slow service. We had to ask multiple times for ketchup, hot sauce, and ranch, and it took an unreasonably long time seriously, I was almost done with my food before we received what we asked for. The view of the golf course adds to the traditional feeling, and service is friendly. However I ordered a salmon and beet salad which had a honey vinaigrette which was extremely bland and sweet. I asked for vinegar to slice it up and they only offered malt vinegar( not a key ingredient for dressings) or a balsamic vinaigrette ( more like a sweet gravy than a salad dressing). Only downside to the experience and reason for one less star is my mom ordered the steak medallions cooked medium and they were sent to the table not once but twice raw. After that we gave up and she ordered the shrimp scampi - which was her first almost choice she wished she got from the start! Prime rib on Saturday was spectacular and burger was great. Sigh I don't like leaving not great reviews but the service we received during dinner was very disappointing, especially as we had come two other times on our trip and enjoyed it. We didn't get a waiter for 15 minutes after getting sat. And when we were done we waited 35 minutes without seeing our waiter. And that point we had other plans to move on to so we left while one person stayed to pay the bill. He said it was like 15 more minutes and that the bill didn't actually come from our waiter but another employee that saw him awkwardly sitting there at a large empty table full of empty plates... with that being said my food was actually really good. The service was abysmal start to finish! We were sat at an unclean and unset table. The server clearly had no desire to even try to provide any sort of service. We had to flag someone to get silverware and napkins, we had the wrong starters brought out, we had to flag someone to get another drink, never got a water refill despite other servers passing by our table(they only took care of their table). As for the food it was ok. The bisque was lukewarm and not very good, the fish and chips were terrible (again lukewarm food, a soggy batter and lukewarm fries). The fish of the day was pretty good, the accompaniments were meh). Zero reason to eat here with so many great places in the area! read more

A follow up review from a few years ago when the experience was not great. We had a great diner with friends, good food, service and an awesome venue with terrific golf course and sunset views. We dined outside and although warm the fans provided enough air for the evening. Terrific apps and broad menu-selection from burgers and briskets to market priced fish. Our server Faith was genuine and helpful and managers consistently checked on us throughout the meal. Good selection of drinks, local brews, wines and memorable cocktails. Enjoyed the evening with small groups of friends and saw some larger families enjoy the evening. Good choice, comparable prices and a good value. Will continue to be part of our Sea Pines experience. I am waiting The resteraunt at this very moment. The community charges $9 a car to enter but tells you restersaunt will comp you the fee. We are an 11 person group coming in 3 cars. We turned in our the receipts for a total of $27, but we're told they would only reduce our bill by $9. We were ripped off for $18. I highly recommend against this place. Went because SP property owners get 20% off for a short time. Parking is good. Room is big with tables, booths & bar seats. Our server, James was great. Two problems: very noisy bar & menu. After 45 minutes the bar did quiet down. We selected this restaurant based on the website menu. None of the items we wanted were NOT on the menu in the restaurant. This was a great choice for our family on June 13th. 3 of us ordered the award winning burger and I ordered the pulled pork sliders topped with creamy slaw and a requested gluten free bun. My younger daughter is allergic to egg and ordered the burger only and added our own bun from home. This restaurant was fantastic about carefully checking ingredients and even included picks on the meals that were accommodated so that they wouldn't get confused. Honestly, the best attention to serious dietary health issues. I've never seen a restaurant identify the "right" meal visually that way and wish more would do it. Our waitress Alexis was attentive and helped us choose a great wine and dessert. TRY the strawberry shortcake cheesecake. Best cheesecake EVER. The restaurant is full of wood and brown colors with a spectacular view of a golf course. The servers are excellent, especially bartenders Will and Rikki. They were super attentive and friendly. The drinks are very good. Try the Bustelo espresso martini. Delicious! The Black Forest run old fashion was very good too. We had the burnt ends and they were scrumptious- with the Korean bbq sauce. Had a very nice experience at Fraser's this past 4th of July. We dined outside and Jerome was our server. He was very welcoming and pleasant. For an app we had buffalo fried cauliflower, and it was perfectly crispy! For my entree I had the Atlantic salmon with whipped potatoes and broccolini. The whipped potatoes were delicate and creamy, I could have eaten a whole bowl. We dined outside, and the table seating area was quite hot. After we ate, we moved to sit in the comfy chairs on the perimeter of the deck, and it was much more comfortable temperature wise because you could feel a slight breeze. My wife and I spent part of the day at sea pines and picked this spot for dinner. We did not realize it was inside one of the places to stay on the golf course. It wasn't busy and we enjoyed our food, however I think the atmosphere was high class to be a casual restaurant. We got a table and the host told us that he didn't need the table until 7pm for a reservation - I think we got there at 4:30/5pm. We felt very out of place by the comment as we were just finding a good place to eat. However, our waitress was super kind and attentive. She gave us time to look at the menu and popped in every so often after getting our food. The burgers were really good and would definitely go back again for the food. read more

After a round of golf, we settled ourselves at Frasers Tavern bar where a lovely bartender greeted us. Fraser Tavern is the newly renovated previous Live Oak Restaurant. The restaurant has several flat screen televisions, large booths, traditional leather furniture, and what we took advantage of, a dart board. We very much enjoyed our burgers, and buffalo wings especially that we returned several times afterwards after a round of golf. They also have a significant selection craft and bottle beers, and if you bring in your score card from a round of golf, one can take advantage $2 draft domestic beer. read more
