I live in California now, but I would recommend Caldwell County to anyone in Arizona, especially people in the East Valley who somehow have not tried it yet. This is genuinely some of the best barbecue I have had. The meats are flavorful, the portions are satisfying, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage has just the right amount of heat without overpowering everything else. It is the kind of food that sticks in your memory long after you leave. Honestly, if I lived close to the Power Road location, I would have a very difficult time staying away. Absolutely worth a visit.

Well I just had the pleasure of eating at Fraziers smokehouse. I ordered the brisket, medium garlic mashed potatoes, small green chili mac cheese and baked beans and smoked turkey. What can I say about the food hmmm..... Well I would have to say that this is a poor excuse for a smokehouse I don't know what you're reading is as far as the other reviews I think that they are friends of the owners. The brisket I had was the most flavorless brisket I have ever had in my life. The Texas toast was soggy and only got toasted on one side. The side of garlic mashed potatoes what's the poorest mashed potatoes I have ever tasted it tasted like mashed potatoes and sour cream thrown in with a bunch of garlic powder. It left a dirty taste in my mouth. The smoked turkey which was not smoked turkey it tasted like boiled turkey more like it there was no smoke flavor to that Turkey at all. The only thing that I ordered that had any flavor was the green chili mac and cheese so bravo on that one. The baked beans we're not baked beans I felt like I was eating a hardy chili. Overall the food was horrible. The upside though the staff were super friendly. read more

My sister-in-law was in town with her kids, and we were looking for a place that could accommodate a pretty large group. We live nearby and decided to give Frasher's BBQ a try, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They got a table ready for our group right away, which we really appreciated, and they took the time to walk us through the menu and recommend some of their specialties. The owner was there as well and made us feel genuinely welcome, which added such a personal touch. The food was absolutely incredible, everything we tried was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and exactly what you hope for from great BBQ. You can really tell they care about both the food and the experience they provide. We're so happy to have found such a great spot so close to home. We'll definitely be back, and I can already see Frasher's becoming one of our regular go-to restaurants. Highly recommend! read more

Well, wanted to check it out so went in for lunch. First off they were out of menus, next I ordered baby back ribs with side of slaw and corn. Corn was brought out to table first??? Then my lunch. Ribs did fall off the bone but no flavor. I couldn't even tell what kind of smoke was used. Didn't taste it at all. The slaw was shredded but it was as if they put water in it and that was it. My friend got the try tip and it was cut with the grain . The BBQ sauce was bland and unremarkable. All in all a waste of time and money. The final straw for me is when you walk into a new place. Don't hang up all your awards on your old place til you get it right with the current one! It makes you look silly. I myself ordered the Tri Tip and Baby Back Ribs with a side of fries. And let's just say, best BBQ I've had. The sauce was delicious, my favorite was spicy, but they were all wonderful. The ribs were perfectly cooked and were above expectations. I've ate food from the Steakhouse so I knew I was in for a treat. After eating the fresh fries, Tri Tip, and Ribs, I ordered the butter cake, which I do recommend if you have a sweet tooth. Everything was on point and the interior really caught my eye. The decorations were nice and made me feel very comfortable. I even wrote on the chalkboard in the bathroom, which by itself was amazing. The service was great and I was really happy to be treated as well as I was. On my way out(which made me kind of sad to leave) I got some Mac n Cheese which just by the smell had be dreaming. I LOVE the BBQ here! Stopped in for lunch and had the brisket, with a salad, and texas toast. The salad portions are huge, super tasty, and light (but filling). I love that I can enjoy BBQ while keeping it low carb/healthy. If you are in the mood for sides, I did try my friend's mac-n-cheese and fries - they were soooo good. They have homemade lemonades, and several different flavors of ice teas. Both the employees and the manager were really accommodating - checked on us and made sure we were enjoying everything. There are so many things I LOVE about Frasher's Smokehouse, the bbq is simply the best in Phoenix! The tri-tip melts in your mouth, the chicken is so moist and juicy, the turkey is perfect, moist and tender, the sausages is soooooooo good they make it from the brisket trimmings, the brisket is very good, the pulled pork is amazing! I have been a fan of Frasher's restaurants since the first one opened in 1998. I was happy to find three of them upon my return from the EU after being away from the US for 6 years and AZ for 20. The Smokehouse was fantastic. The pork, ribs and pulled where as flavorful as I remember. I love the new sauces, all three are solid, but the tangy is my favorite. Another highlight is the St. Louis pizza with authentic provel, simple with just sausage is perfect. Great food, great service. read more

Great BBQ. Really nice staff. I told them I was a BBQ fanatic and they threw in an extra rib because they said i had to try one. It was excellent! I will definitely be back for more ribs. The burnt ends were good but a little on the dry side. Looks like they have daily specials that are a little more reasonably priced for a weekday lunch spot. Some of the best BBQ I've had in Phoenix the sweet bbq sauce on the ribs is prurdy darn tasty! Meat was smoked perfect fall of the bone tender. I went with the bang bang burger and kale salad -- a side comes with the lunch sandwiches. I was hesitant on kale but she mentioned it gets great feedback and I am glad I tried it! The kale salad has citrus and other goodies in it (sorry, I forget what!) and the kale wasn't tough at all. The dressing is lightly sweet and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The bang bang burger was delicious and filling without being overly heavy. They also had cans of local beer - Huss Blonde and Papago Orange Blossom - and a couple of speciality cocktails, along with various canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks and fountain drinks. Its a cute shop with a patio and one side was open to the nice weather. A woman stopped to check in - I think she was the manager - who was really nice. Looking forward to coming back for a breakfast sandwich! (And more kale salad)

The menu is more diverse than you would expect but the burgers are pretty flipping good. Beer and drinks combined with a fun crowd and you have a hit. One surprising thing is they serve Prime Rib on Fridays and Saturdays. Service is always consistently good even when they are swamped during March Madness. We are fans and have been often.
