Sadly not my #1 Toyota Dealer as they like to say. I am in the search for a new vehicle and thought since I had some time to go visit this dealership. I was greeted as soon as I got out of my car by "sales person" Kamran. I told him I was interested in test driving a Rav4 and Tacoma along with my time frame, features to look for and understanding of the current car industry impact with the chip shortage. He told me I would not be able to see any new vehicles as they have none on the lot except for pre-sold units which was fine. He told me my only option is to pre-order a unit and no need to wait since this global shortage will last to 2024. I asked well do you have any 2021 pre-owned rav4 that I can test drive. I'm larger then average in height and have an issue fitting in every car. I also wanted to test drive and feel the responsiveness and handling of the vehicle. He took me to the pre-owned side of the dealership and showed me some Rav4 and Tacoma's. I asked if I can see inside one of the RAV4's and he never said yes or no or got any keys. I felt ignored but still getting watched by Kamran at the same time. (Weird feelings) He told me he took in a Tacoma this past week that is not on the lot that is in the back. He said it was perfect for me because a "women drove it" he kept repeating how a "women" drive it and that means they didn't drive it hard. It's crazy that we live in 2021 and a gender is generalized like that so inaccurately. The cherry on top is his key pitch is "we are the #1 volume Toyota dealer in Texas so we have the best prices" that is not true, just because you sell a lot does not mean you are the best value for customers. Watch out for their window tint and paint protection for $1,190. They use the affordable window tint max $200 per car and probably even forget to install the pain protection if there service is anything like there sales. He also tried to tell me "Toyota care" 2 year maintenance for new vehicles is exclusively at this Toyota dealers and if I went to another dealership I would not get it. At the end of the day he didn't let e look inside any vehicles, and never got to test ride the vehicle I'm trying to decide to purchase in the next month. Not complained before but this time they need to be complained. Never go after 4 pm there is a lots of issues .I'm thinking quit going there sooner. When they did rotation they let me loose my tire cover 3 times. Each time I bought from there 105 $ after tax that part. 2 visit before I found out they didn't put it all the way that was the reason. That day I almost locked in. While I was sitting there waiting their call they started closing I got checked they left my keys with invoice on the Thomas desk without mention to me. They knew I was waiting their call because they let me sign to change engine filter. About 3 1/2 weeks ago my mother and I visited this dealership to get pricing on a vehicle she was interested in. Their salesmanship and customer service is subpar to say the least. I mentioned to the salesman that my father would be the one purchasing the vehicle, so we needed a price, he continued to tell me that they have the lowest prices, gave me the run around and my mother and I walked out two hours later with no price?! I don't know if it was because my father wasn't with us or because we were women and he just didn't take us seriously. The next day I proceeded to look at vehicles online and communicate with this dealership, as well as others, via email and began to negotiate the price. This also fell thru, their sales person was condescending and essentially said I didn't know the value of the vehicle, I supposed he expected my Dad to just pay whatever amount he seemed fit, or maybe he lacked salesmanship and failed to sell me on it. On May 5th, my parents and I visited the dealership, as they are the only ones opened on Sunday, our salesman was good, his name is Juan/Julio Flamenco, he showed us the vehicle my parents wanted, he was attentive to their wants and needs. After choosing the vehicle of their liking, my parents and I headed inside to negotiate the price of the vehicle, during the process Mr. Flamenco's Manager who joined us was rude and disrespectful, his attempt to intimidate me didn't work. My Dad doesn't speak English, I can guarantee you if he did, this manager would've NEVER spoken to me the way he did. I have tough skin so I looked past it, at the end of the day what I wanted was a good price for the vehicle we were getting. We were able to agree to a price and began paperwork, my Dad was not doing in-house financing, which they were very persistent about persuading him to at least try, which I understand. After making it very clear my Dad would not be doing that, we continued with paperwork, we were guaranteed they wouldn't be running my Dad's credit, I even asked for clarification and Mr. Flamenco said they were definitely NOT running my Dad's credit. They closed the deal, my parents have their new vehicle, however, yesterday May 21st, I checked my Dad's credit report and guess who ran his credit on May 5th?! FRED HAAS TOYOTA!!!!! At this point we're just over this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone. We were returning customers, I purchased my car there in 2012. They lack salesmanship and good customer service. We will continue buying Toyota, we've purchased 6 of them, but it will definitely not be at Fred Haas. They pride themselves with being number one in sales but are last in customer service. read more

I chose Fred Haas Toyota Collison Center as my repair shop after my car accident. I could just have gone somewhere. I picked this place because I bought my brand New Camry there and I thought they would do a good job repairing my car. The guy who was in charge of my repair is Christ. He seems to not want to deal with small imperfect that I pointed out after my car was repaired. I do not like this place. The next day I further found out the small wind deflector on my truck got loose. They have no sense of attention to details. I felt like they were rushing to put together parts and not doing a good repair. They charged $7200+ for this crappy work! I will have to bring my car back to them to fix this problem. My wife and I got our new truck from Fred Haas Toyota World on Sunday. The salesman Ismael was great. He was pleasant, polite, didn't pester us or try to oversell anything, upfront about the product and what was possible deal-wise. There were a few minor detailing issues that were rectified the next day by the dealer after we noticed them (small scratch to gear lever gate cover and a small mark to the passenger side grab handle). I also added locking wheel nuts at this time and the service department fitted them whilst I was there free of charge which was a nice touch. The advertising material from Toyota for the vehicle I purchased displays the vehicle comes as standard with LED DRL's but my vehicle didn't, so I am trying to follow up on that as when I mentioned it, nobody seemed to know anything about it. Otherwise the dealership experience was very positive. The wait to get the paperwork completed for buying the vehicle took a little longer than expected, but not so bad to say don't buy here. They are very busy so it's probably a 'normal' time there. Our finance manager Newell was pleasant and secured us a slightly better price on the packages we purchased which helped offset the wait. Bob from the delivery team was very positive, helpful and ready to help us get set up with the new vehicle. ( get a 25 dollar gift card when you test drive a new car and if you buy they will pay first payment) after negotiating the truck I asked can I at least get the first payment on you just like it said on their website? The Self-proclaimed "#1 Toyota dealer in Texas" only cares about new car sales. I've used their service dept. several times and continually walk away frustrated. I could go through a list of complaints but the most recent was not fixing a defective sunroof on a car I bought new from them 2 years ago which is under warranty. I've been a very loyal customer. My family and I have owned multiple Toyota's over the past four decades! Took them all day to get back with me on the sunroof just to tell me they wouldn't fix it under warranty! However I did get two calls throughout the day to try and sell me tires, accessories, and then see if I would be interested in a credit card from them. When they finally called at the end of the day to tell me that my 2 year old highlander under warranty would be at least $1149 (plus labor) to fix. I was just on your lot last weekend looking at Sequoias and Tundras. I'm so glad I didn't make that mistake again! read more

Needed a car after loosing mine to Harvey and no rentals available. I checked for cars on internet and found Haas was the only dealer opened on Sunday. I contacted their internet sales via their website stating what I was interested in, a short time later Ms Vaughn called and asked what I was interested in I told her a Corolla any color but white. We scheduled a Sunday afternoon appointment and she showed us a slate gray LE. Didn't go any further and shortly later drove it home. I really thought it would be a problem because we had been driving a Mercedes for years, big step down right? Yes and no the Corolla is bigger inside has more bells and whistles and rides just as well as the Mercedes and burns regular gas. The Corolla cost half of what the Mercedes did. read more

I recently purchased new 2 RAV4's for my grandchildren. Our salesman was very good but overall this dealership needs a lot of work. I lay all problems at the feet of the general manager, whoever that is. First, the need to Improve customer comfort by providing bottled water, popcorn, etc..... other things that other dealerships provide. These guys apparently pride theirselves on being cheap with regards to customer comfort And.... after a mistake is made they must quickly rectified the situation. In my case, a thousand dollar deposit that was placed on our American Express card was not subtracted when my two vehicles were purchased. It took many phone calls and almost a week to rectify the situation. And that was only done after I threatened to place a dispute with American Express and have them reverse the charge. On two occasions the finance department did not do what they said they would. UNACCEPTABLE. Toyota makes a fine product but their dealerships should be much better than this I personally drive a Lexus which gives excellent customer service and customer comfort. Next time, if there is one, that I purchased a Toyota I will try a different dealership. read more

I finally had a great experience at a Toyota dealership! I live in Tomball but work near Katy so it was just more convenient to take my 4 Runner to a place near my work. But after having issues with two dealerships near Katy, I decided to give this dealership a try and take extra time off work to do so and it paid off! I had an issue with my lock and it was covered under an extended warranty I bought. I made an appointment and I was assigned to a service advisor Marq Cobb. I arrived at my assigned time, he was with another customer but I was checked on 4 times to make sure I was being taken care of -within a 10 min timeframe! I advised each person that Marq was aware I was there and he came over as soon as he was done. He greeted me and asked if there was anything else I was concerned about that they could check for me and I mentioned my radio freezing up and I have to turn it off and on but for him not to worry about it because the other dealership (that I didn't have a good experience with) said they fixed it and they hadn't. So I told him don't worry about that, it doesn't bother me, just the door lock needs to be fixed . Well, he made all the arrangements with the warranty folks and set up my rental car to go through warranty as well. I was shuttled over to Enterprise. They confirmed with Marq my coverage, put me in a car and I was off to work. Within 4 hours, I got a call from Marq saying that my car was ready and they did an upgrade on my radio to see if that might fix my radio problem. Wow! I was impressed they went out of their way to check on an issue I told them not to bother with. Needless to say I was very impressed my advisor was courteous, caring, and went out of his way to make sure something was done to hopefully fix my radio issue even though that wasn't what I went in for. Just come here with more than you want to pay and we can do a deal but come here now etc I digress I found an old lexus online at Fred Haas and through their very handy instant messenger application got chatting to Rusty Freele in their internet department. He was straight up with me and i arranged to pop in the next day. He showed me around the car, pointed out good and bad stuff tossed me the keys and off we went for a test. It was a but juddery due to allignment but a good car. Sat down with Rusty, 10 minutes chatting and the magic words "what can i do to get you in this car?' very sensible negotiations, allignment fixed, good discount due to new tyres needed and the car was mine. Allignment didn't fix all the problems but Rusty push for new tyres and now it seems to be running a dream. I dealt with Ken in the finance department, again - no shit, no fluff just friendly business. I wouldn't want to go there without an appointment as there is a pack of savage car salesmen waiting to pounce. This dealership is dishonest!! I went in for tire rotation & balance. Once finished I noticed a nugget on my drivers side floor board. I then asked Maison Sherman my service advisor what is belonged to & if they can fix it. I was told it was part of the air filter & it would be fixed. As I waited outside, I noticed a technician with my keys & the nugget in his hand. I witnessed him do NOTHING to my car & go back inside with my keys & the part. Shortly after I get a call from Maison that my car was ready. I mentioned that I was outside the whole time & did not see Anything done to my car. My mother spoke to her & she told her she witnessed the technician go outside to do so. She then asked Maison to write on my invoice what she witnessed. Maison then called the technician stating the situation. A different technician came with MY auto part that the SUPPOSEDLY fixed the first time & I WITNESSED him to my part in its place. I will NEVER come back to this dealership again!!!! read more

Went in to have a recall taken care of; tried to get me to have close to $700 in unnecessary repair done. Specifically my "actively leaking water pump." I just put it in less than 6 months ago and it has 5800 miles on it. Just drove the car, ran the car and stared at the pump for 20 minutes. No leak. Coolant level is checked weekly with no signs of loss. Will never return and probably will no longer be a Toyota brand loyal customer. read more

The sales guys at Toyota pretty cool, not too pushy, have an idea of what they are talking about and take the time to listen to you. I picked the Rav4 due to its reliability and I really liked The the redesign of the vehicle (so much better than before) The Rogue was more fun to drive but this was for my mom's not for me. I've never felt so angry at a dealership in my life... Today I had gone to the dealership with my father because his windshield had cracked on it's own. My father speaks english pretty well through his accent, but has some trouble understanding everything in it's entirety, so I went with him to the service center. Keep in mind my dad hasn't had this car for more than a few months. So having a windshield crack on it's own is a bit suspicious. My dad had even mentioned how he never heard anything hit his windshield either so it cracking wasn't a good sign. Upon arrival the people had directed us to desk of a service employee named "Nick Fernandez." We patiently waited for him to arrive and help us, but it seemed like we should have just went to another dealership and purchased a new car because of how bad the service was. I understand the procedure for checking a cracked windshield is running down a pen and checking if there are any indentations, but it felt like he was just trying to make one for us! From my view it looked like he jabbed his pen into the cracked windshield and wiggled it around. When we continued to express our concerns on if he was sure, he seemed like he was trying to hold in a laugh! It was clearly obvious he was laughing because of how angry my dad was. He not only got in a few laughs once, but multiple times while my dad got more angry. He even laughed at me when I had also asked if he was sure. We continued to express our concerns, but we weren't getting anywhere with this person considering how he blatantly helped other customers in front of us even though we were sitting right in front of his desk. It's like we were being treated as children who were complaining because their candy wasn't sweet enough. Sir, my family has been a Toyota family for a long time, and my dad has bought different year models of the same exact truck. I'm pretty sure he knows what he is talking about when it comes to his car. After not getting anywhere we requested a manager, and when she showed up he was quiet the whole time, but you could tell by the look in his eyes that he didn't care if we mentioned anything about his attitude. It was ridiculous. Luckily the manage was more personal, and actually listened to us and tried to make us feel more appreciated. Before she had gone to look at the car, I had mentioned his attitude, and how I don't appreciate how he laughed at my father and I. The excuse I had gotten from him in front of his manager was "I'm sorry I was trying to lighten up the situation." Laughing at the situation when there is an upset customer doesn't lighten up anything. It makes a customer feel very disrespected because we felt like we weren't being taken seriously. His face when he apologized just seemed like he had gotten a slap on the wrist. The only bright side to this story is that we were able to get someone who is able to speak my father's native language. We had finally felt like someone had understood our situation a little more. I think it's a bit pitiful that it took having someone of our own background to feel more appreciated and respected. Overall the service at Fred Haas Toyota was terrible, and I'd highly recommend everyone to go elsewhere if you ever want to get your car repaired or want to buy a car. read more

Went there for a State Inspection, sign said they State Inspections closed at 5pm. Spoke to a service guy at 4:40pm and asked him about getting an inspection done. He said sorry we're closed. I said outside the sign said 5pm and he stated I would have of gotten here at 4pm.... Sign should reflect last appointment time. read more

Unless you are dropping off your car, do not bring your vehicle here for any kind of diagnostic or repair. It will take hours, like more than 6. Pointless to make an appointment because they will tell you to leave it. If you're a single girl like me that likes to get up early get ish done, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. They treat you like numbered cattle and if your issue does not equal revenue to them, they will send you away. This is the 2nd time I have come here for a noise coming from my brakes and even though I made an appointment, they said it would take pretty much all day. Like who has time for this BS? read more
