I ordered my washer/dryer set online Tuesday evening. The next morning I had a phone call verifying my order and asking me if they could deliver that Saturday! I received a phone call Friday verifying delivery day and time. My driver called 15 when he was minutes out. The removal and install was quick, the guys were very knowledgeable and friendly! TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. My family and I bought a washer/dryer combo, we've had problems since last year, the thing sucks now, and we had one more appointment today, (BC OF THE WARRANTY WE CAN'T BUY A NEW ONE) and the technician broke our machine! It started, not dripping, not leaking, FLOWING water out of the machine. There's water damage in the basement ceiling, laundry room floor, etc, we'll have to replace the ceiling boards and the entire upper floor now unless the repair crew can fix it. Never buying from this place again. this is our laundry room; that's right, it's sealed off. It was that bad. read more

Bought a new home from large builder in Kennewick, WA that had a LG oven already installed. The oven was missing a thermostat cover and was over-cooking my food. We called Fred's and they came out three months ago and confirmed the missing part. We followed-up several times and were finally told Fred's could not identify the part with LG and to call LG ourselves if we wanted it fixed. I ended up calling LG directly and they are sending an LG service tech to cover this under warranty. I would not recommend Fred's if your appliance is missing a part or needs service. read more

Extremely disappointed with Fred's Appliance. After more than a year of dealing with their service department, we've had nothing but delays, poor communication, and now outright rudeness from management. When my husband walked in to discuss yet another failure of our Bosch combo oven/microwave (covered under an extended warranty), the manager, Rick, cut him off before he could even speak and said: "I am not replacing your oven." Here's the history: the microwave failed over a year before the warranty expired. Since then, Fred's has sent technicians out at least 10-12 times. Each visit takes weeks to schedule, followed by months of waiting for parts--only for the "fix" to fail again. The most recent repair lasted all of two uses before the unit broke down again. Now, after a year of failed attempts to repair the same issue, Fred's is refusing to replace the unit, claiming the warranty is expired--even though the problem began long before. At this point, we're escalating to higher management and consulting a lawyer. This experience has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. read more

These guys happen to be the only one in town to purchase certain appliances and this puts them into an "I don't give a ****" mentality. A take it or leave it approach which really puts the customer in a terrible situation after spending thousands of dollars. Furthermore, they work with J&J installers who are by far the worst people on earth, and will not buy from Freds just based on their use with J&J alone. I would rather purchase an appliance in Seattle and drive it out her just to avoid these people, meaning Freds and J&J. Surprised not much has changes with so many bad reviews. I'm just another disappointed customer. Spokane needs to step up its options. Someone out there could really capitalize on this situation. If someone else in the area could pick up a contract with certain high end appliances, the competition might bring everyone down a notch. read more

Bought a Meile Dishwasher from Freds, it broke within 3 months. I have tried to deal with their service department who will only say they will call us back but never do. Freds told me that as they are a distrubutor there is nothing they can do, we just have to wait a further MONTH or more to get a part. As they are a distributor they can sell faulty products and not repair or replace them in a timely manner. Freds will not talk to the manufacuter so you are stuck in a hold nightmare, call the manufacuter they want information from Freds, call Freds (3 or 4 times) finally get a some information, call Meile, they want more info, call Freds again..... read more

I have bought various appliances from Fred's for nearly 20 years. This summer I bought brand new (and gorgeous) Cafe' appliances--all but the kitchen sink.... I had innumerable questions, made changes, additions/subtractions. I couldn't be happier with the superb service by all members of the sales team, with a particular shout out to Chris LeCou in the Monroe store and the delivery team, Nick and Robert. We purchased a refrigerator back in Dec 2021 - what a MISTAKE! I will never again purchase a Kitchen Aid, mod# KRMF706ESS04 (French Door w/ two produce drawers); only saving grace, we did pay for the extended warranty. What's gone wrong: door seal x2, in-door water/ice maker, freezer tray fronts fall off, multiple times Fred's Service Techs have attempted to prevent freezing from occurring in the produce drawers and the refrigerator - now there is so much ice buildup, not allowing for air flow the food is spoiling so fast and imagine that, Whirlpool parts needed are on back order. Don't bother to call Whirlpool for help, their automated system doesn't actually give you the option to talk to a human and when you wait on hold - no response, if you opt for a callback - NOPE! The refrigerator is garbage and unfortunately Fred's is doing anything to make the situation better. After so many repair calls, I would have thought they might have been willing to work with us to sort out the problem, but again - NOPE. I've read / heard that appliances nowadays are only expected to last 5-yrs. but since the fridge's service history is so long, I would have appreciated some help. If I could have posted pictures you would have seen the level of ice buildup. Until I took out the two drawers and removed some of the ice, they wouldn't shut all the way - note the "I" removed the drawers and took care of some of the ice buildup, not the "tech" would at the house the day prior. read more

We've been trying to get a one year old dishwasher repaired going on two months and technician comes out and has to order parts and then you are out for more weeks before they can/will get you scheduled. The schedule acts like they are doing you a favor and there is no discussion. If this is how they take care of customers that have purchased they're products, I think everyone should think twice about going to Fred's. Read other one star reviews and you will see this is a common problem. read more

Had a problem with a double oven requiring a new control board. Fred's technicians were prompt, very polite and knew their stuff.
