I can honestly say The Blue Door has earned a place among the very best meals I've ever had. What amazed me most wasn't just that every dish was delicious--it was that every single plate had its own identity. Nothing tasted repetitive or safe. Each course was thoughtfully composed with bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and combinations I never would have imagined working together... yet they absolutely did. Beyond the food, every plate looked like a work of art. You could tell the kitchen artists take immense pride in presentation without sacrificing flavor. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed, and every recommendation was spot on. If someone asked me where to experience one of the best dining experiences in Ohio, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I'd tell them to drive to The Blue Door in Cuyahoga Falls. There were two of us, and the total for breakfast plus two coffees and tip was more than $70. Portions are huge. Ambiance was nice. Sad it didn't knock it out of the park.

Maybe they were just having an off day, but since it wasn't that busy and a Sunday, I probably won't return. There are too many other small diners who excel at their food and service.

Our server said she was new and didn't know much about the omelette combo so I am wondering if it was not the right thing. We need more diners like Fred's diner they've gone out of style over the years and a lot have closed up but you can find a lot of places like Fred's diner down south not everybody continues to like going to fast foods some like to have restaurants where you could just go sit down and have a good time and have a good meal at affordable prices things are just too high everywhere else like me I don't follow upgrading life and getting rid of old things things that are popular like Fred's diner. read more

I did like the space and the building. Parking lot was really cramped but there was plenty of seating inside and it was nicely lit.
