Before our reservation, we stopped in the barn next door for drinks. It was such a fun experience! They had a fantastic selection of meads, live music with a talented duo playing '90s rock hits, and even a nice selection of branded merchandise available for purchase. The weather couldn't have been better, and the food was outstanding. We both ordered the baked haddock, and it was absolutely delicious- perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. We also highly recommend the Razz "What She Said" draft and the Mango Unchained sour draft, both were refreshing, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. A special thank you to our server, Grace, who made our evening even more enjoyable. She was top-notch-friendly, kind, attentive, sweet, and truly provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. It looked like the steaks were set under heat lamps waiting for the waitress to get the food and deliver. My son could see into the kitchen where the 2 waitresses were discussing something very important with the chef and not getting food out the door. 25 min to get our meals. To top it off there was NO chimmichuri to be found on the beef or on the side. Unfortunately the waitress never checked back so we couldn't have her go to the kitchen and get some. Extremely disappointed!! We actually had to go find our waitress to get our check. I really think 1.5 stars but you can't. Maybe next time we try the bar but reading some of the reviews maybe not.
