Wow I didn't know service could be so bad. I bring in my freightliner sprinter van for a "start error" and that the truck won't start. And Freightliner holds it for 7 WEEKS AND DOES NOTHING BUT DIAGNOSE THE WRONG PROBLEM. MY COMPANY SPENDS WEEKS WAITING FOR THE TRUCK TO BE FIXED AND EVERY WEEK IT WAS SOMETHING NEW. Also they broke parts while trying to diagnose the problem. Breaks the clock spring, breaks the wiper blade controller, breaks all types of shit and had me pay to have them fixed. And WHEN I GO TO PICK UP THE TRUCK IYS STILL BROKEN. WONT LEAVE 3rd gear and isn't starting correctly but Chris told me " you won't believe how many times a var breaks leaving the lot". DOSE THAT EVN MAKE SENSE. HOW CAN I DRIVE A CAR OFF THE LOT AND IT BREAKS WITHIN A MILE OF YOUR DEALERSHIP MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. This was the worst decision, I wouldn't trust them to do an oil change after this. Agreed to their overinflated estimate (after cutting out several items that were not necessary but they quoted us anyways) and left the truck. Come back a week later to pick it up with check in hand ready to pay them. They tell me they won't accept my check because some 3rd party company I've never even heard of won't guarantee my funds. 2 hours of my time and my employees time wasted and several conversations with their Manager James and zero help whatsoever. I've never seen a company refuse to take a check for payment. We ended up having to wire them the money to get our truck released. Needless to say, there's no reason for us to ever go back there. What shady, untrustworthy business is this?!! If I could give them a zero stars I would. I leave my perfectly working Sprinter Freightliner van for a recall (Emission Modification) on December 30/22. The recall modification was just for a couple of sensors and software. They said that it would take a couple of weeks to repair. They told me to pick up the van on January 19/23, so I took it home, parked it, and few days later I turn on my Van and there are 4 DASHBOARD LIGHTS ON!!! The van started SMOKING!!! This never happened before I sent it to this shop. I scanned the vans computer, and the scanner said the right rear speed sensor wasn't working properly. I called this place and they told me to bring the van back, the sensor was covered by the warranty, which sounds like good thing, right? Well no; a week later Bill DiEduardo, the service advisor, called to tell me that there's an issue with the van, something with the ABS cable and a "certified mechanic" that charge $200 per hour has to look for the problem. He even told me that it could cost around $500 plus the repair$$$. I repeat: MY VAN WAS PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE TAKING IT TO THIS SHOP FOR A "RECALL" Fortunately my husband is a mechanical engineer, so we went back pick up the van before they kept causing damage in order to scam us for our hard earned money. We asked for explanation as to why this is happening now? There was no logical explanation at all. They replaced the speed sensor and left it's the sensor hanging without the clip that hold the sensor. The movement from driving will cause the sensor to get damaged again, which is incredibly convenient for them, since they can keep taking our money like blood thirsty vampires? What was their excuse? "-The new sensors come like that without clip" why you didn't put the old clip? The mechanic: -"The old clip Disintegrated" what B.S. (unless he somehow Thanos snapped it out of existence) If he was a real professional, he would replace the clip with a new one, and not give some B.S. excuse pulled out of his ass. We took the van home, with the 4 dashboard lights on, not enough power in the engine, lack of acceleration, strange sounding transmission, non-working cruise control, and even the radio wasn't working. I couldn't leave my van one more day in that scrapyard without worrying my van will ruined. Once we got home my husband checked the ABS cables from head to toe, guess what...A CABLE WAS SLASHED!!! It was 100% Intensional as the cut was too clean for it to be anything else. There is no way that the cable could be in that condition, nothing was interfering or touching the cables. The cut was made very close to the diesel tank facing up making it invisible at a glance, what a coincidence, right? My husband fixed the cable and magically every single light turned off, and all the other issues disappeared. How could these people be so dishonest and evil? SHAME On THEM!!! People, believe me please, DO Not TAKE YOUR TRUCKS, VANS, OR CARS to this horrible "workshop" Certified Mechanics or certified criminals? Worst ever. Been there twice and they triple charge and do not fix the problem. Last time it cost me $1500+ to replace a belt and they told me they had to change all the hoses and fluids. It came in with AC working and came out with AC broken and they wanted $2600 to fix the AC. I picked it up and got the AC replaced for $1100 elsewhere and later it broke down because the hoses were not clamped properly and fell off. NEVER GO HERE read more

This service center in Pompano doesn't take appointments because it's difficult to estimate how long repairs and service will take. But they took in our Class A motor coach at the last minute without an appointment to fix issues introduced by another Freightliner dealer in Miami Gardens the previous day. We arrived just before 9 am and they said they'd get to it asap. We waited 5 hours. We were frustrated by the whole episode (mostly that our "repair" in Miami Gardens introduced several more problems that ate up an entire day of our trip) but when they did get us in, they fix our issues in under an hour and we were out the door by 3 pm. The customer service reps were empathetic and the mechanic was polite and seemed intelligent. We definitely recommend this place over the Freightliner in Miami Gardens. read more

I am hereby filing a formal complaint on Lou Bachrodt Freightliner, located at 2840 Center Port Circle, #102, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. One of our trucks was towed there on Friday, May 31, 2019 at approximately 1pm was told there were 20 trucks ahead of us, however, because we were OTR driver, he would make us priority. Received a call from JR, Service Advisor, on Saturday, June 1, he stated they wiggled a wire and truck started up. I did not hear back from him until Monday. On Monday, June 3, 2019, received a call from JR, stating they had repaired 3-4 wires they saw to be bad, took the truck on a test drive, per JR, they did that 3-4 times, everything seemed to be fine, parked the truck, turned it off. On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, JR called, stated truck would not start. JR stated I needed to go ahead and replace the wiring harness to solve the problem, however, on Monday, he said initial repairs would solve the problem. JR admitted repairing wires on Monday did not solve the problem. I asked JR how certain he was that replacing wiring harness would solve the problem, he stated he was highly confident that it would. I asked him several times, he responded, highly confident and very certain each time. He stated it would take a day or two to replace and per JR it would be ready to go on Thursday. Thursday come, truck does not start, per JR, truck now needs an ECM. He stated they plugged theirs up and the truck starts just fine, however, the day before, they were able to start the truck, drive the truck, park the truck, restart the truck, drive the truck a few more times, parked the truck again, restarted, went on another test drive, no problems at all. Driver is watching as they are test driving. Now per JR, this morning, which is Thursday, he states the ECM now needs to be replaced. This is all after billing us $2,994.02. We asked JR several times and asked to speak with Service Manager, Jeff Tolbert in reference to the bill, he never answered nor returned any calls. Driver went to his office several times only to be told, he has left or he is out to lunch. When attempting to call Service Manager, was told he was on a conference call, he had his door locked, or he had a line of people waiting to see him for the same issue(s). We were billed for 16+ labor hours, a $533 part, and mics shop fees, that did not solve the problem. JR again acknowledged the truck was not repaired as previously promised. Once bill was paid, JR stated we would be ready to go and assured us he would have the truck started and ready so that driver could be on his way. Driver arrives to pick-up truck, truck does not start, after spending a couple of hours trying to get it to start, it does not. JR now claims it will take another $2000.00 to get truck going. After processing payment of $1890.86, truck starts and driver leaves on Friday, June 7 at 6pm. This falls under the category of unauthorized repairs and we are not liable for the charges in which we were billed due to the fact that the truck was not operable, we were misinformed by JR, Service advisor, as he did not state we would be billed excessive labor hours, the initial diagnostics were clearly incorrect, and due to incorrect information given by JR, this also caused a huge delay in delivering on our obligation to our broker. We requesting full reimbursement of all monies spent due to this incident which includes, but not limited to hotel accommodations for driver, Uber trips to and from Freightliner, and repairs that fall under "unauthorized repairs." read more

Charged me $1500.00 dollars, and the lights still did not work. Complainned with the service manager and was told that I need to pay another $300 dollars to get a diagnostic. This is the worst place I have ever been in my 30 years of trucking, I was towed from Hollywood fl to the dealership in POMPANO BEACH FLORIDA, I was told my truck had a wiring issues to the ecm,they put a new sensor harness on ,told me truck was fixed..2 days in a motel plus $2596 for shop bill,made it aprox 50 miles truck quit .had it towed back to dealership spent 4 more days in motel, then I was told I needed a new ecm and a wiring harness from fire wall to ecm,part has been discontinued by freightliner, harness would have to be special made,I decided to fly home to Mississippi this was going to take about a week for the harness to be made, harness was overnighted to them received on a Wednesday, I got a call from dealership and said the would not install the harness, reason it was not a original freightliner part, really, it a after market part,then I was told they was through would not work on my truck, had truck towed to another shop that would take on the job at this point I have $8000 in it estimated another $1500to$2000 to get truck out of the new shop it was towed to.Lou BACHRODT Freightliner is a place to run from, They are not competan enough to fix a flat tire,, they had me buy a new ecm,injection harness, sensor harness,and a new power cord to the ecm ,they lost the $125 power cord, had to buy another one, replaced timing sensor and crank sensor $186 truck is running, Amazing, Hope this post will help anybody that is broke down in POMPANO BEACH, Miami area to Stay Away From LOU BACHRODT Freightliner total cost and 4 weeks down time $20000 read more
