Popular stop for locals and visitors, we were lucky to grab a table for 4 outside on a busy summer day. From the pot roast to burgers and gumbo, all of the food is delicious home cookin' from the south. Service team is friendly. Ordering is done at the counter and food is delivered to you hot. I line the variety of local beers on tap too.

We were not sure what to think by the outer appearance of the restaurant, however you go inside and it's really quaint. Everyone is super friend. You order up front and find a sit. They bring the food to the table. Food was very good.

Fried chicken (aka heat lamp) - tuff, dry, warm.

The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Unfortunate the food was a big disappointment. I ordered the fried chicken and noticed it arrived really fast and wasn't hot. I'm guessing by the dry chicken and the tuff texture it was sitting under a really weak heat lamp for a while. The white cheddar Mack saved was really good so I didn't have to choke down the majority of the chicken. Sorry for the low review , but I've had better fried chicken at a trick stop. Make it fresh for every customer so it doesn't suck.

Another memorable meal on our family vacation. The food and service were great. The Cesar salad, the roast beef sandwich, shrimp poyboy and the fried chicken dinner were hits with all of us. The tater tots were very tasty. The staff were super friendly. The sweet tea passed the Alabama test. Highly recommend

What can I say about Frenchie's? No matter the words on paper, I don't think I can capture the experience. The staff is one of the friendliest, happiest I've ever experienced. No matter the ask, the servers, cashier, and manager were happily attentive to all diners' needs! The vibe is very family friendly, and it's also a great date spot as long as you like a venue that's full of life and volume. Highly recommend. The food was absolutely delicious. I opted for 'comfort' meal, and it was an amazing decision. Let's start with the pot roast dinner. It reminded me of the most delicious home cooked pot roast. The meat was tender and the potatoes and green beans were cooked to perfection. My favorite was a bite full of each. After dinner, the staff brought out my dessert, the white chocolate peach bread pudding. I have a love for bread pudding so I'm also a tough critic. This was definitely a well executed pudding! The moisture level, sweetness, and fluffiness were terrific. The kitchen also knew the combo of white chocolate and peach would trend on the sweet side, so paired the dessert with heavy cream on the side. Not a low calorie dessert, but oh-so-palate-pleasing!!

Surprisingly good! Chicken 'po boy was a highlight. I don't expect much in a small, touristy town, but this was delicious.

The pretzel was good, and the hot, spicy mustard was good. Good for a mid-day snack after skiing. The place was kind of broken/trashy. We were sitting at the bar and noticed that the brewing supplies were a little gross. I thought brewers were clean? The signs were not updated and had a make-shift feeling. Sad to see what was once a great brewery is now trying to pick up its pieces.

All the wait staff were excellent. They came by several times to make sure everything was okay. The food came out quick, although the pub wasn't busy. Oh yes, to the food. The squeeze and I shared an order of finger steaks and fries. It is our norm to split an order for lunch. The meat tasted good, nice and tender. Spices in the coating decent. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The dip for the finger steaks had a good amount of horseradish in it, wasn't overpowering but put heat into the bite. They did bring an extra plate, which was nice, and not to be charged for it is even better. They may have added some extra fries and fingers, don't know, but we were more than satisfied with the quality and quantity. Hippy Hopped Pale Ale had a nice taste of hops, kind of like a session IPA. The Mackinaw Red brew was oh so malty! It was a little cool in there.
