But while talking with the technician, he's very experienced and has been working in the area for a long time. He's really good at diagnostic the issues - from electrical power, fuse, freon, compressor, furnace to thermistor. He's also hard working - seven days a week in season. He's considerate for providing temporary solution for the night before my new order thermistor arrives. And yes, I like how honest he is by recommending Google Nest instead of using the current one which will benefit him more. I'm glad that I chose this at yelp. read more

Our old gas furnace was acting up and not heating properly, so we looked for a well rated business on Yelp. We got an appointment for the next day. Vlad showed up on time, performed a carbon monoxide test first of all, and diagnosed the problem, explaining along the way and showing what the problem was: dust and pet hair accumulated in the heat exchanger causing overheating and tripping the safety. He was up front and clear on the (very reasonable) repair costs and performed them on the spot after we agreed. Really nice guy, dependable and trustworthy -- no wonder Freon gets such high marks. Our heater was out for a few months, and we got quoted to get a new one for $2k. We decided to use space heaters for a while and got tired of it. Our heater stopped working, or rather, it cycled on all the time, but there was no hot air, it blew cold air all the time. I heard strange clicks from the furnace and couldn't figure out what was going on. I started looking on Yelp for someone who could help me, but everyone I contacted also could not come that day, until I finally found FREON HVAC. They answered me immediately, asked about the problem with the furnace and made an appointment for a technician to arrive. Vlad was there at the appointed time, and after 15 minutes of work, hot air and warmth returned to the house. It was great, I'm glad I found these guys. Vlad was polite and very knowledgable in his work, he told me everything about the furnace and explained the problem and we set up for it to run at set heat,, he is truly a great guy. Had an issue with a few plug outlets around the house. Placed the request for service on yelp on a Friday evening after I could not get my Christmas lights turned on outside. They quickly received a text from Freon Service. They have a service call fee that is very reasonable, so even if they don't fix the problem when they come out the fee is not going to leave you broke! Our time was scheduled for the next morning and we had Vlad here on time and ready to go! He was really friendly and efficient. Did some work to get our plugs working and gave us a nice deal. If they do some work they only charge for the work and the house call fee is removed! I had contemplated trying to fix the plugs myself in fear that the cost to fix them myself would be expensive. Have to say the price is right and I'm going to feel better sleeping at night knowing a professional did it! Please use this company! I LOVE THESE GUYS! My washer started acting funny and while I wasn't too worried about it (there's a laundromat right around the corner) I wanted to at least see how bad the repair would be. Very nice experience. Vlad and an assistant arrived within the promised window and diagnosed the problem with the furnace (a failed exhaust motor) in less that 10 minutes. They not just replaced the malfunctioning inducer motor, but also cleaned the rust from water leakage and painted the board with protective enamel. In addition, they noticed that one of the condensate drains is missing a switch, and installed one for us for free. He was on time, knowledgeable, patient and highly professional. In my case, Authur didn't recommend fixing the broken unit. He checked the other AC unit and topped freon. I also got quick follow up on new installation quote for the broken unit in the next day. The diagostics fee is among the most competitive and is waived if service is performed.
