After a search of the Connecticut Secretary of State website, I believe this to be the company that I recently booked for an air duct and dryer vent cleaning. I bought a deal through Groupon, and called to make an appointment. I was told the earliest available appointment would be in three months (I was scheduled for service on February 5, 2013). I called two weeks prior to confirm the appointment and was told it was confirmed. On the day of the appointment, I took the day off from work to be home for the technicians. They never showed up. When I called them that afternoon to ask what was going on, I was told I was on the drive list (whatever that means), but not on the calendar. I was also told that I could not get an appointment for another 9 weeks. This was not acceptable, and here's why: I bought my house last spring, and I've only been living in it for about 10 months. I was advised when my furnace was replaced that the dryer vent (the dryer came with the house) appeared to be extremely clogged, and likely a fire hazard. Plus, the new furnace has been forcing all kinds of dust and dirt into the house, and I've been coughing and wheezy all winter due to this. Because I can't dry my laundry, and for the sake of my health, I told the rep that this was unacceptable, and that they needed to rearrange whatever to accommodate me as soon as possible. She told me she didn't have the authority to do this, but that I should call Brandon at 888-621-3925, and talk to him about it. I called him this morning, and he was nothing but rude to me. He refused to even let me explain why this needed to be done more quickly, and only yelled at me that he could not reschedule other appointments of folks that had been waiting longer than me (what???) to accommodate me. When I asked for his supervisor he replied that he was the office manager and offered no other information. I suspect that this company may purposely try to hide their address and direct contact information. Their address is not listed on their website. I only found out they are headquartered in Connecticut when I called the first time to find out why they didn't show up. The Groupon I bought only listed a toll free number, but according to their website the operate in several states. I searched the Secretary of State website for Connecticut, and it is my belief that this is the company I am dealing with. Stay away from them. The good news is, Groupon agreed with me 100% that this company totally failed in the customer service department, and they did refund my purchase in the form of Groupon bucks. read more
