Pesto Chicken Sourdough Sandwich with Chickpea Chili

I recently discovered this place and it is so good! The food is amazing and the workers are really nice! The first time I got here, I had the breakfast wrap and it was huge! They also have some nice pastries and acai bowls! I have also tried a sourdough sandwich and they are amazing! I would totally recommend coming here, doesn't even taste gluten free!

    Green Gobbler

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff is friendly! I ordered the Green Gobbler and the Amethyst Bloom Special. The food was delicious! I plan on returning soon!

Everything here was so great! Fantastic service, and the food was DELISH! So flavorful, we didn't eat inside but all commented on how clean and well designed it was! So great to have found a place with such yummy options for dietary restrictions of all kinds

    San Pancho, Thai Yum Curry

Great food options here. I had the San Pancho with a hard bioled egg and the chickpea chili on the side (and on top). Also had the nutty monkey. Avaocado was fresh and appropriately ripe. Chipotle dressing was amazing. Portions were generous but not overwhelming. Highly recommended. So hard to find an eatery these days where the food not only supports life, but improves it. Also, GREAT service!

San Pancho added rice and sweet potatoes, with Berry Bliss acai bowl, drink was from Starbucks :)

First time from Uber Eats :) The salad San Pancho was absolutely amazing! Good thing I added rice and sweet potato the extra carbs was a great choice, I was stuffed! I tried the berry vinaigrette and loved it, should've asked for 2 instead of the default dressing they gave me not sure what it was but not a fan. The Berry Bliss acai bowl was not bad, Salad definitely better, I prefer my acai bowls not frozen like how Method Juice Cafe makes theirs, just a preference thing. The food here is a little on pricey side but I mean it's healthy food not McDonald's burgers so you get what you pay for and i'm sure your body will thank you in the long run. I wish Spokane had more places like this, I can only think of Method Juice Cafe that has similar food.

So happy to find this place! Wonderful, fresh food options--salads, super food bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, loaded spuds! Friendly and welcoming. Cheerful and you feel good eating it! I am not gluten free but this one is a 100% gluten free restaurant as well! Must visit!

I don't normally take pictures of my food but this one earned it. The Pumpkin curry bowl with kale and pepitas was just the right combination of savory and heat. It's definitely filling enough to be lunch twice! I also got a Cobb salad because I wanted it. Super cute inside, friendly associates, and clean! I'lol be a repeat customer anytime I'm in the area for sure. The price is worth it for the portion you receive and quality of product.

Cobb Salad with added chickpeas and onions.

A first timer to Fresh and Foraged today on Holland up north and I ordered the Cobb Salad. It came with everything in this pic except chickpeas and onions which I added. It was so good! The lettuce was crisp and cold and it was huge! This was about $18.50 and some may say it's spendy for a salad but I thought it was worth it! I'm already wanting to go back. I tried a sample of their curry soup that was thick and warming. They have a " Sunshine Bowl" made with that soup with toppings that I think I'm going to try next. Recommend a visit if you like big salads with topping options!

This place is really delicious!!! They have all the good ingredients for salad bowls and the owner/employee were super sweet and friendly. We went here on Halloween and I haven't gotten a chance to write the review for them- they were dressed up all cute that day too. Anyway, there's a comfy couch and a good size bar sitting area. They're pretty new, so give them a try! Great if you want something fast and also healthy. The one thing I hope happens is that they get some more drink selections in the future- they have some good ones but not much variety rn.

    Walk up bar/menu.

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

They are like overly fancy, to the max pickle. I'm not saying it's a pickle, because they are not "pickled", but, but, how do I say it....fresh, crunchy, tasty, with a good "kick". The flavor is abundant. The pepper lingers on your tongue after you finish. Glory! Try it with a beer. I'm telling you. You will be satisfied with this starter. This is all I ate. I'm losing weight. Have to look good for my new lady. BTW- great ambiance. Large hole-in-wall. Dimly lit. People talking. Not loud. Good energy. Lots of different kind of whiskey. The food was amazing. I would've been truly happy with the appetizers and the drinks alone (a restaurant should be considered amazing when all you want to do is eat all the appetizers on the menu). I knew this was going to be an amazing restaurant when I told the host the name on the reservation and someone snuck in and taken our table. So the starters were amazing, the drinks were wonderful, the people at the table next to us raved about the schnitzel. That was the only thing they would eat on the menu, but I looked over and they were tucking into a piece or two of their friend's pizza. My only regret well at least two is that I don't live close enough to go back there and finish eating all the appetizers as well as having a chance to try the desserts. This is a place that truly deserves recognition for the ambience the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. Get a reservation... Have drinks, starters a couple main course dishes and let me know how the desserts are. Hopefully, I'll be sitting at a table next to you sharing how much I love this meal.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!
