Wow, I got a Conn style Lobster Roll... yum. It was so good. And the Cole slaw was killer too. My server Shana was awesome. Supet nice staff, amazing menu.

Honestly I don't know why this place is not more crowded. We were 3 out of 7 people eating here. That made me rethink about having lunch here. I'm so glad we stayed. The food was delicious! I ordered the cup of white clam chowder, it was creamy and thick with huge pieces of clams, and chunks of potatoes. Prefect for a cool fall afternoon. Also ordered the fried calamari. The batter was light the crispy and not overly seasoned. Plenty of parking. And the staff were so nice and friendly.

I stopped by this spot for lunch since I was in the taste for seafood. When I initially arrived, I had a leftover coffee and wasn't allowed to bring it in. Once I finished it outside, I came back in and was seated right away. I ended up getting the clam chowder and fish sandwich w/ broccoli. The clam chowder was ok. When the fish sandwich came out, it didn't have the lettuce and tomato as advertised in the menu. The fish was cooked perfectly and went well with a side a cocktail sauce.

The twin lobsters are very reasonable here they was good but I highly recommend if you're hey have the 2 lb special to get that because it will be more meat. The twin lobsters seem small to me. The waitress Candy pointed out the difference between the dinner twin lobsters from the twin lobster special. Nice intimate and comfortable ambiance atmosphere.

Return every year (visiting from California) for the amazing lobster roll, best ever! Companion loved her lobster bisque and fried clams. Service exceptionally attentive & friendly. Nice decor. Overall fab!

Came in for dinner last week and had a fantastic experience. Primarily, the service was phenomenal, and everything was brought out in such a timely fashion despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Food was excellent, shown here are the stuffed shrimp (my all time favorite, a sweeter stuffing with plenty of seafood in it), the fish sandwich (light breading, not too heavy), and the shrimp tacos (filling, great flavor profile, not too salty or battered). We left satisfied and will be back again! Ambience is pretty standard for a local seafood/sushi restaurant, with a bit of modern flare.

1st time here and the food was amazing. I had clam cakes and red clam chowder and it was loaded with clams as were the clam cakes. My daughter had the lobster roll with a side of potatoes salad and her husband had the baked haddock with scallops. I also HAD to have butternut squash when I heard they had that on the menu. Well worth the money especially for quality ingredients

Extended family came for a visit and we promised them a Lobster dinner. After seeing all the usual places with small children (Museum of Science, beach, Harvard University, driving tour of the city) we arranged for a dinner at Fresh Catch, otherwise we were heading go Narragansett. Party of 5 adults with 3 small children. Started w three apps - onion rings, calamari and lobster rangoon. Good starters for young children. Plenty to keep them occupied. Entrees were two twin lobsters, came w a corn on the cob each; Connecticut style lobster roll; a sesame seared ahi tuna; baked scallops w mashed potatoes and slaw: and a trio of fried tacos. Guests loved the lobsters (small chix lobsters), scallops were good. My ahi tuna was promised to be rare but came out medium and the sauce was way too sweet. Kids had chicken fingers w fries. Staff were attentive and when the young less than 2 yrs, acted up they provided crackers to preoccupy the kids. Place was crowded, but we had two staff assigned to our table of eight. All in all nice dinner for out of town guests.

Food and service are always great. We like to go during off peak hours as there are not many people during these times..Typical meal hours are usually very busy.

My husband and I have been enjoying this restaurant quite a bit recently. They have daily and weekly specials that keep this place interesting. The food is delicious and fresh. They also have a sushi area! If you enjoy seafood and don't want to go all the way to the beach I suggest you give Fresh catch a try! You won't be disappointed!

Great place to stop in for lunch. Quick service and good food. Take a break from the ordinary lunch and have a some fresh seafood instead.

My second time here--such a hidden gem in an area overrun with Italian restaurants. The bar…read moreregulars line up just before 5 pm (opening) and it fills up fast. Bartenders Eric and Rob make fabulous drinks and the vibe is exceptional. The food is amazing and I don't know what they're serving in the main dining room, but the bar tapas menu has so many delicious options to help absorb the martinis! Always friendly people to chat with which makes it all the more special.

There's a nonna back there that knows what she's doing! The restaurant has two sides and is cozy. The wine selection is excellent, and our waiter recommended a Montepulciano that was so phenomenal we ended up ordering a whole bottle. We're still craving it days later. We started with the oysters, which I believe were from Wellfleet, and they were outstanding. They were meaty, fresh, and had no brine/salty taste at all. Even the bread with olive oil was memorable because it was perfectly salted and soo flavorful. For my entree, I had the chicken piccata with house‑made gnocchi--- simply divine. Truly one of the best gnocchis I've ever had! Wish there was more of them though. This was our first time trying the restaurant and it was SO good. Everything from the food, the wine, the service, it made for a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

When the server tells you the evening specials you are left to guess how much they are charging for them. Personally, I think you shouldn't have to ask the cost of specials seeing as the menu has prices. We did asked the price of the filet mignon special because the 2 on the menu were a 10oz for $69.95, other filet was 10oz for $71.95. the 10 oz filet mignon special was $99.95 with asparagus on top with a demi glaze & mashed potatoes. So I am guessing the asparagus is the reason for the additional $30.00?? One of the other specials was a whole lobster with the lobster meat and stuffing inside and a side of mashed Unfortunately we did not ask the price of this special. We really didn't think it would be more than the filet. Guess again...bill came and the 2 lobster specials we had ordered were $120.00 EACH. Husbands had chicken dishes, we had total 4 glasses of wine, 1 baileys and 2 desserts. Bill total $450.00 yet this really isn't the main reason I am writing this review. The maitre had come over to our table to ask how our meal was, he never made eye contact with us again and completely ignored us answering his question. He was merely trying to push us along to free up the table. He was rude and arrogant to say the least! Meanwhile after spending $450.00 for what was really just an average dinner this is how the patrons are treated. No thank you. We will stick to Mia Regazza in Abington or Marshfield or Alma Nova in Hingham to just mention a few. Funny "Average J" review below he says "Oh, and the white haired maître D guy needs a new white sport coat- looks like the buttons are about to pop off. He is right about that. My husband had the same comment.

My parents are in their 80s and dont really eat Italian or have access to good Italian so I can totally understand their raving about this place. However, I live 3 miles from the North End and frequent it so I have a little higher of a standard. Certain things that I LOVE LOVE, I ordered here and just didnt love, their approach was slightly different. The Crostini was like soup with bread on the side, I thought they were going to be little crostinis... Now the veggies thing, I get its your thing, but they seemed to be in so many meals, I got the Shrimp Genovese and it just wasnt a hit for me! Dad inhaled his Frutti di Mar, thats his go to dish. The Calamari was wet, like in liquid, I dont get why everything was in so much liquid... Again all was good, but I would definitely not run back (unless I have to take them again) However, the staff was SPOT ON... The ambience is great, the prices were decent, the drinks were good, It was a good night but just didnt love love the food the way that I wanted to as often as they talk about! Maybe I try again and order different things, The service & location was wonderful though!
