Family meal for 4
crisalyn t.

We ordered the family meal for 4 it is very tasty and healthy. I feel like if we ordered another meal would've been perfect because I have hungry teenagers with me.

Came here on a Saturday night after a recommendation from a friend, and it definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the Baramundi and my wife had the filet mignon kebab. We also shared the shrimp ceviche. Everything came out pretty fast, which was impressive for a busy Saturday evening. You can really taste the freshness in all the dishes, and the salsa bar was exceptional -- lots of great options with bold flavor without being overly heavy or salty. The portions were very generous, so come hungry! Overall, it was a great experience with fresh food, balanced seasoning, and solid service. We'll definitely be coming back.

I was craving fish and chips and excited to try Fresh Off the Boat Fish Grill given the positive reviews. First impression it's well pointed with both indoor and outdoor seating. Signage and menu easy to read. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I had placed my order over the and my order was ready upon arrival. I got home and the fish was prepared well, still warm, and paired well with the tartar sauce. The fries however were cold and you can tell they had been sitting for a while. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I tried somewhere new, however I think it's important warm food be served warm.

Food: Good number of options. Mix of Mediterranean and Baja Mexico dishes. We shared the fried cauliflower with tzatziki & pita. He had the chicken & filet mignon kabob. I had 2 filet mignon & shrimp tacos. All dishes were delicious. Service: This was our first time here so we had a lot of questions. The cashier was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of our questions and made some recommendations. Ambiance: casual. Order and pay up front. Seat yourself. Indoor and patio seating. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back.

I've been to the Tustin location and now I came to see if this one was as good. I came on a Saturday night for take out. the place was busy, always a good sign. servers were too busy to help me with my take out orders that my food was already done sitting there. I got the ceviche. it was very refreshing with pico de Gallo sauce added on top of shrimp and avocado also ordered their Cod Baja bowl. simple dish but tasted delish. the portion was generous so not only was it good, it was a bargain. basmati rice and pinto beans right under grilled cod w garlic sauce (subtle) and pico de Gallo dressing. I'd order again. chicken baja bowl. basically same thing as cod dish except the protein change. the chicken was tender n juicy. usually most places cooked the chicken dry using the mediterranean style, not this place. flavor could be stronger, however. lastly, I got filet mignon entree. u get salad, cooked tomato n onion slices, basmati rice, and steak. the taste was amazing n meat was grilled perfectly, very juicy. parking spaces were plenty. will come again for sure.

Beef and chicken combo, incredibly well cooked and delicious

Mexican + Mediterranean sounds like a match made in heaven for me but also very challenging to pull off correctly. I was pleasantly surprised by FOB and loved the food we had here. It's no surprise the owner Moe G. was incredibly kind and they've expanded to 3 locations. It's in a large strip mall in Placentia and we knew it was a good sign when it was pretty crowded at 11:15 on a random weekday. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Hummus with Flatbread: Freshly made and a nice slightly chunky consistency, we started with this and could tell we were in for a treat because every single thing on this place was delicious, even the "decorative" small salad. FOB Chicken & Sirloin Entrée: Plated in such an appetizing way and smelled so good. Every single thing on the plate went through rounds and rounds of iteration to get them this high level. Even the rice I could not stop eating. Grilled Fish Entrée: This was the more Mexican style dish and it was just as incredible as the Mediterranean one. When the beans and cabbage are amazing you know everything else is going to be great. I was only trying to eat half and also could not stop eating this.

Okay this place is the bomb! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I was put in charge of finding a dinner restaurant tonight and found a good one. I'm pretty sure everyone is going to come back again. Thanks for a great dinner Y'all!

I like this place. The name of the business is what first caught my attention, esp since I'm asian. This place is spacious. Dining indoor and outdoor patio. Located in a busy plaza by McDs. Parking is crazy during lunch time. Anyway, greeted by a young man and I asked about what's good andnhe told me everything. Ok. It's fish Friday and went for a grilled cod pita wrap/gyro. It's so good. No need for extra sauce on it since it's already seasoned. I also ordered a shrimp ceviche. It was more on the creamy side but I didn't complain. It was yummy. Since place is up the street from my work, I'll galavant over here to get my fresh off the boat meals.

Came back again recently and had a similar great experience. We did the mixed family platter this time and all the items were fresh and delicious. Restaurant was casual and laid back with good servers.

I really enjoyed my grilled Mahi Mahi pita wrap, all the ingredients were nice and fresh. I took it to go and ate it in my car. Service was friendly and the Restaurant inside is very clean. Indoor and patio seating.

FOB Baja Mediterranean Grill is one of those places that just works--like the culinary equivalent of your favorite pair of jeans: comfortable, dependable, and always flattering (to your taste buds, anyway). The location is perfect for families and groups, though scoring a front parking spot during lunch or dinner is basically the Hunger Games. No worries though--the massive strip mall lot a short walk away is your safety net (and hey, a pre-meal stroll totally counts as cardio). Inside, it's spotless and humming with a team that runs smoother than a TikTok teen's skincare routine. Service is on point, and those smiles feel genuinely warm--none of that "my manager is watching" energy. As for the food... Simply Fab! My filet mignon kabob was generous, well-seasoned, and paired with grilled veggies so good they could be the main act. The buttery, fragrant basmati rice was so addictive I started rethinking every bland bowl of rice I've ever eaten. Pro tip: if you like your steak rare, speak now or forever hold your well-done peace. My fiancé's gyro plate? Let's just say if the Greek gods had vacation homes in Baja, this would be their caterer. Overall: great vibe, stellar food, service that makes you feel like a regular. Consider me repeat customer :)

Needed a place for some good Baja Fish Tacos, parking lot is tight but plenty of spaces for the most part. They offer indoor and outdoor dining for this quick service restaurant, they have a variety of Mexican dishes to choose from. Tacos were fresh and cooked well to my liking with the crispness of the fish.

Hi Anne, It depends on the time of day. We’re busiest from 12–1 PM and 5:30–7 PM, with Fridays being…

Do you still have the spicy tarter sauce? I didn't see that option in the online order menue

Yes, we do, it’s called spicy krazy sauce. We are glad you like it.

Previously, Moe replied to another question, "All our meats are halal. Thanks". How are all your meats halal? I see Carnitas on your menu. What kind of meat is in the Carnitas?

Carnitas are always pork.

Is your meat halal?

All our meats are halal. Thanks

Since it was so busy, we initially ordered our food to-go because there were no open seats. However, the coolest guy at the register (I forgot to ask his name!) went above and beyond. My wife ordered the fajitas, and I decided to try the Diablo Shrimp. I enjoy trying new and different foods, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Let me tell you--the name is no joke! The Diablo Shrimp was incredibly spicy, truly living up to its name. If you love heat, you'll definitely enjoy it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Mi Casita to anyone looking for great Mexican food and excellent service.

Luckily, that finally changed and we caught them open! This is a true family-run business, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should. We ordered a 2-item combo with a cheese enchilada, shredded beef taco, rice, and beans, and it was amazing. We also got the chicken à la diabla, and I can honestly say I've never had an à la diabla sauce that good at a restaurant. Everything tasted homemade and so comforting that it felt like leaving a friend's house after a meal his mom made. The vibe was fun, the service was great, and we were lucky enough to have the son taking care of us, which made the experience even better. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation. We're looking forward to creating many more memories here. This is officially our go-to spot because, quite frankly, the food here is on another level.
