I'm so sad I have to write this review. My family and I love eating here and very often order from here. Today, my family ordered and noticed once we got home that the order was done incorrectly (while item was not what we ordered at all). We took it to-go and didn't feel the need to check inside the bag because we trust the service here. I called and spoke to someone about refunding our order and they said to give them a few seconds to see what they could do, but then hung up after about a minute. I called back several times and it seems to me that the connection wasn't lost over the phone but, rather that they wouldn't like to appreciate or accommodate to their loyal customers (who also always tip). read more

Nice assortment of healthy, reasonably priced options: smoothies, bowls, Torres, sandwiches, salads, wraps, tostadas and quesadillas ("sincronizadas"). For breakfast, they also have breakfast sandwiches, wraps, bagels, toasts, oatmeal, parfaits and omelets. This review was for Sunday, the 18th of September 2022. This restaurant was a great option, because we weren't sure what to eat. Walking in, the menu was on the left and the coffee menu was on the back. There was people eating inside, which is usually a good sign. While deciding without anybody waiting in line, the cashier was impatiently asking me if I was ready more than once. She even showed me the small menu next to the counter. So when it came time to order, I asked for an iced Chai latte, Caramel freeze, Fresh juice (popular), and two Acai bowls. I waited outside for the order to be ready. When I saw the drinks, I thought it was done. But apparently the cashier did not take down the two Acai bowls. They really upped their game and have been consistently providing delicious food that looks like the pictures. Our first trip here was a pick up order for breakfast and it was so good we even joked about coming back the next day. Our food order: 1. Cajeta French toast: delicious! 4 half slices topped with a good amount of cajeta and bananas, then sprinkled with powdered sugar. 2. Fruit salad: yummy! We opted for the yogurt option instead of the sweet cream to keep it a little healthier. When I first pulled out the container I was a little bummed that it was small, but the fruit was really sweet and you could tell it was quality. There was an even mix of fruit, not just a ton of cheap filler fruit. 3. Green chilequiles: these were SO good. They were covered in salsa and the tortillas had a great crunch. Walked in for a triple espresso. The cashier said $10 I know we're a little bit east of the 805 but this isn't some privileged neighborhood where we don't feel our daily food expenses. Even the folks in the local million dollar McMansions are just lucky for the equity. These houses were 300k when they bought them! Anyways, I've seen DeVolda, Jordan's Burgers, and Orange whatever totally fail here. Eventually someone will figure out how to make a decent return off a breakfast spot that serves multiple school buses AND a huge church AND an elementary school AND a city bus route AND the thousands of people who reside in the Teresita apartments. This has literally been a go to spot for my family for 3 years. Açaí bowls, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches and burritos have rarely disappointed. Consistency with Sandwich sogginess is usually my issue (-1 star), but otherwise never bad. My 11 year old frequently asked to come here, my wife and I grab smoothies then chill in the park right across the street. Service is always timely and welcoming. Plus, you can order on a Yelp! I placed an order at Fresheria through door dash app. When I received my order I was missing a Ham Torta. I called and spoke to Gladys the manager and she offered to replace my food. When I arrived to pick up my food, she brought it out to my car. She also included a green smoothie and fresas con crema for the inconvenience. Both were delicious. I've been going to Fresheria since we moved back here to SD over 3 years ago. My go to breakfast place on weekdays. Great food, never gotten anything bad but my favorite is açaí bowl and hot latte. This is my first and last time ordering from this place. I ordered a Caesar salad, no onions and extra dressing. I got all the onions and no extra dressing and no avocado(my main reason for ordering this particular salad) See pic. I also ordered a cup of corn which was their version of street corn. They should call it cup of mayo with a little bit of corn. It was too much. Also see pic. The only thing that was half way decent was the veggie soup after doctoring it up a bit. The delivery was fast but if you are going to trash the order, keep it. Update from 1 star to 3: (It's only right) Immediately after posting Freshería contacted me and had a new order on the way. We always order online through Grubhub and our orders are ALWAYS wrong, missing items or missing something. Also they never follow instructions. I asked to put the toppings on the side for my sons pancakes and when we got them delivered they were all soggy and disgusting looking because they didn't. I used to come here all the time everyone used to be so nice now all of a sudden they got a bunch of new people that don't care. Done food delivery service here once and take out today. They make healthy juices here for consumption and healthy wraps/sandwiches/salads. I tried out their chicken sandwich today. My GF also ordered some mango fruit salad concoction. The sandwich was delicious as it was packed with grilled chicken bits, tomatoes, guac, lettuce, and some sauce topping I can't recall (giving it a tangy flavor). The mango salad was also very fresh and had other fruits mixed in it (strawberries being one of them). Being a healthy eats option the food is pricey and can take a minute to prep especially if you're waiting in store for it. We were one of two couples in the restaurant waiting and it took roughly 20 minutes for the food to get to us.
