-very nice and friendly staff -came by to grab a quick bite, instead of mc Donalds -im not from this area, it was noticeable from the big street. -there wasnt any customer when i went at 5pm. -tuna sandwich was plain and simple , if thats what you like. im fine with it. Ambiance: The place is clean and the staff is always friendly. They hardly changed over the 20+ years that I've been coming to this place. This place has so much nostalgia and will always be a part of my childhood. Taste test: Every single donught that I've ever gotten here has tasted good. The sweetness is always on point and you can get full from just 1-2 donughts. The donughts are always fluffy, moist, and just the right amount of everything. You can never go wrong choosing the best donught when you come here. read more

This is the absolute BEST Donut shop I've ever been to. Donuts aren't even my favorite food, but these always hit different. Late night donuts are always super fresh and often still warm from being made. Even at midnight, the donuts are fresh and amazing and always with a lot of variety. The owner is constantly working hard every hour of every day! He puts magic into each one. 20/10 recommend this donut shop!!! read more

Freshh Donuts (yes, spelled with two H) is my go to donut shop in Chino Hills. They have a fairly large selection even when you arrive after 10 AM. I love their chocolate chip, chocolate filled donuts the most. The crumb and coconut topped donuts are also good. They have good coffee as well and the staff is always helpful and friendly. They have smoothies, sandwiches and other treats as well, but I come for the donuts. This place is right next to the McDonald's. read more

Good donuts, but the service sucks. Particularly with this one older lady with horrible customer service. I ordered my breakfast sandwich via the Yelp app and when I got there it said the order was ready. She couldn't find my order and instead of trying to find out where my order was, she argued with me about not seeing my order, questioning where I ordered my from, saying they don't take orders from Yelp, etc, whatever crap she needed to spit out to justify that I was wrong. Luckily, another younger lady in the back was able to help me and pointed to where my order was. No apology from the older lady for not finding my order. read more

Fresh Donuts is one of those NPC places that somehow manages to stay in business despite serving mediocre food. Every time I've had a donut here, it's been underwhelming or just plain disappointing. The donuts always taste old and stale, your typical commercial donut--nothing special or exciting. People keep telling me, "Oh, you just haven't gone at the right time; try 1 a.m., 6 a.m., or , 8 a.m.!" But honestly, no matter when I go, it's always the same: a mid donut, nothing special. I took me so long to write a review because this place spoiled me with their consistent quality of their food. I live really close by her store. First and for most, I always buy the donuts for celebration, potluck dessert, or just because I need something comforting after a bad day. I am always feeling happy to see Liz, for Liz has a kind heart, and she remembers her customers. I would like to remind everyone that Liz helped the community with her eggs when Covid was intense, and she does it for the community when we couldn't find eggs anywhere. I love their food and drinks from sandwiches to donuts. The donuts are simply fulfilling with joy, and you can tell she didn't run anything short of her ingredients - which you will be full from a ham and cheese croissant. I also love to see her chit chatting with all returning customers. If you need to be patient, it's because she remembers everyone, and you gotta admire this for good customer service. If her employees look tired, from my guessing, she tries to help out local youngsters who need a job, perhaps those who are in school (been there done that, so I don't mind). Liz, you're truly inspirational, and thanks for your food, I feel happy. read more

Though locals already know about our gem, Freshh Donuts, please let me share that we are blessed to have them! We recently threw a Baby's 100-Day Old Party where we hosted 100 people, at our home. The donuts were dessert and the assortment was a HIT! Glazed, maple bars, crumb, raspberry filled and donut middles were well received. As usual, Freshh's product is fresh and delicious. Love this donut shop! My son and I are big fans of their simple glazed donut. Not too sickeningly sweet- just the right yuuuum~~ Prices are friendly and so are most of the employees. EPIC FAIL. Went here Sunday 5/26/24 around 9AM to Try Their Strawberry Doughnut Rip Off of Jim's Doughnut Man In Glendora. Anyhow, I Go In and It Appears Very Small Inside with Very Few Item's. I Was Shocked Cause Most Doughnut Houses are In Full Swing By 9AM. Anyhow, The Strawberries On The Glazed Doughnuts Looked Dark and Old and Dry. My First Thought was LEAVE. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, Trust Your First Thought. I bought Two and Am Struggling to Eat Half of a Half of This Thing. I Will Not Be Back. Jim's In Glendora is FAR BETTER THAN THIS HOLE! This place is dangerously close to my house... Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. My family and I especially like the maple bars, old fashion, and apple fritters. They also have beautiful seasonal donuts, and donuts that are decorated for different holidays. It's also a good lunch spot. The lunch menu is limited but the bagel sandwiches here are amazing and reasonably priced. read more

This is our go to donut shop in CH, it's right next to my chiropractor's office so I go there every time after my adjustment, grab some donuts, a Thai tea n some lotto tickets, haha! All the donuts tasted fresh n delicious, even at night, n I love their danishes as well...The quality is always good n consistent...Next time I'll try one of their breakfast sandwiches :) read more

I used to come here allllll the time when I was in highschool. Now I find myself dropping by for my usual Apple fritter, ham and cheese croissant and old fashioned maple whenever I get gas in the morning. One of my favorite memories was driving here for late night donut runs with my cousins. Donuts are classic and there is always a variety to choose from. It's a little inconvenient to get into and out of their lot which is why I'm only here when I need to gas. But other than that, you won't be disappointed. read more

Great experience, staff was very welcoming! I came in to order 4 dozen donuts at around 3pm. Most donut places would already be closed or prepping for the night shift donuts. Love, love love this place. Where else can you get fresh green juice and donuts in the same establishment. When we use to live in WA, we would visit CA and stay with family during the holidays. This is where I would go to get donuts and green juice. Everyone that's ever helped me were super courteous and amazing. Came here around 10 pm and surprisingly found the donuts to be fresh out the oven and warm! The texture of the buttermilk is AMAZING unlike any other and even their classic glazed donut was way beyond the average donut. The cashier was such a nice and welcoming man as well :) Will def be coming back for my late night munchies!! read more

Always freshhhhhh! Try the bagel breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is the #6 no ham double bacon! I do wish the younger staff members delivered smiles. I've taken multiple girls here, and ive rizzed them ALL up. Good late night spot, one of the only few in the area. The store looks good, and there's a good variety of donuts. My favorite are cronuts (croissant donuts) and the maple old fashioned. But they do have other good donuts, like blueberry flavored. If you come late enough, the donut man may even give you a couple free donuts read more

I've been coming here ever since I was a baby because I've always lived nearby to this place. I think since then owners have changed or what not and finally I've decided to write this review to reflect my recent visits. First of all, not sure how to rate this place. 11/10 stars for the guy who works the opening morning 5am shifts because he's probably the descendent of the same guy who sold us donuts when I was a baby. Kind, friendly, like family, always throwing in a couple freebies here and there. Sweet guy and excellent customer service. Now zero stars is for the occasional morning 10am or evening 8pm service we get from the female workers, this young Asian girl who works there. She is pretty rude and didn't give me my coffee for about 20 minutes and when she did it was old burned coffee. Gave me the most apathetic sorry and stale donuts to go with it. Just threw $5 into the trash. So basically 5 stars for the guy who opens shop and makes donuts, zero stars for the girls who work there and ruin the reputation of the store. I hope the owners see this and talk to her, unless she is one of the owners which in that case, wow, how things have gone downhill. TLDR, DONT BUY DONUTS FROM HERE IF THE GUY ISNT THERE. read more

Yeah, I've been coming here for over 20 years when my parents would drop me off for Good Earth Montessori then till High School. When I moved away for college, I'd still find some go time to pick up a half dozen or dozen. Then this past week I looked at my bank statement and I saw at that they charged me over $24 for a half dozen..... good thing we kept the receipt which said 6.50. Literally been going here since baby teeth, never again. I've worked behind cash registers you don't accidentally charge someone 4 times the amount. fuck you and your pussy donuts, you peasants. If this happened to me who goes every 2 months or so, it's probably happened to a myriad of others. Pay with cash or hold onto your receipts and check your statements. Because their apple fritters are still amazing worth the risk. read more

Chino Hills has a lot of donut shops in close proximity but this is the only one around that's open overnight. The staff are nice and sometimes throw in a freebie. I've never had a stale donut when I've come in the morning or evening. Just don't come between 8PM and 10PM. read more

They advertise as having vegan food but she didn't know which ones were vegan. I got the avocado toast and the avocado spread looked a little brown. It was really overpriced too. The avocado toast was small and with the drink the total amount for my order was $20. While I was eating it, it tasted a little off. 30 min after eating it, I started getting stomach pains and later threw up in the restroom and continued to have the runs and threw up two more times after we left. When I told the cashier I think I ate something spoiled cus I threw up, she seemed really unbothered and I had to ask for a refund. Her coworker, instead of providing a refund, a young rude girl with stickers on her face, proceeded to give me attitude and blame it on my diet (?) because I ordered THEIR vegan avocado toast. She seemed suspicious of me saying their food made me sick. She also said she'd been working here for 4 years and never had issues with their avocado. Like I'm just telling her what happened.. but she felt the need to get defensive and blame it on me. Such rudeness and unprofessionalism instead of acknowledging that something may have gone wrong with the food, provide a remedy or offer an apology. The food didn't even taste that good and my friend wasn't impressed with his food either. Do these young people not understand the meaning of customer service? If not, don't work in customer service. Having basic decency and not acting like a brat would be a good start.

It is unfortunate to be treated that way specially when it was my first time there. It is also very unfortunate that the Spanish Latte I ordered was delicious, BUT I will never be returning or recommending this place due to the horrible customer service. I have family in the coffee business and customer service is always a priority, not at this location. Very disappointed with whoever hired her and trained her.

I dont usually write reviews, but I've been coming to this store since 1998 and it's been my go to for the ham and cheese croissants. Somewhere along the way, the cheese in the ham and cheese croissants got cut by like more than 50% and for awhile i stopped buying them for this reason. I've tried it again a couple times recently, and i gotta say, its exactly the same. That's literally it. Everything else about this store is lovely. Shoutout to Boom Boom for the consistency, and all the super friendly staff in the morning, but pleaseeee get some more cheese in the ham and cheese croissants! I'd gladly pay a little more to have the proportions of it brought back to how they used to be. read more

I stopped by Freshh Donuts recently and had a great experience overall. I grabbed a glazed donut and a soda, and I was really impressed with the donut--super chewy, soft, and just the right amount of sweetness. Exactly what I was hoping for! The soda was $1.50 for a can, and the donut was around $1.75, so super affordable for what you get. It's definitely a mom-and-pop type of spot, and while it could use a little bit of cleaning here and there, it's still a solid place to grab a quick treat. The lady for this shop is a complete ass hole. A truck driver was delivering to the store next door and she didn't like where he was parked. She processed to yell at him to move and that he was just a dumb truck driver. I felt like this was bullshit. If it wasn't for trucks America would stop.
