Chilli Honey Glazed Chicken Sandwich
Karina E.

Food was great! Chicken tenders were soooo good but pricy!! The chicken & waffle plate was $17.99!! Chili Honey chicken burger was big & tasty overall. Buffalo ranch fries was an up charge of $2. Husband & I were the only customers eating inside around 3pm on a Sunday. Service was good. Just a little too pricy though.. for 2 plates we paid $41 which was not what we expected. We would come back though & try out other foods on the menu.

Fried Chicken Sandwich with onion rings

I needed a quick lunch and was close by to this location. I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is small and has table service or to go. I ordered the friend chicken sandwich. It came with a side of French fries or onion rings and was $20 to go which seems expensive. The onion rings were superb and crispy. The chicken is a thin breast and comes with onion and tomato slices, lettuce and a watery, spicy sauce. It came on sourdough bread that was so greasy from toasting it on the grill that my hands were oily after picking up the sandwich.

Darius deserves a raise he's really cool and nice he is the best.

Darius deserves a raise! He's one of the nicest and friendliest employees I've ever met. From the moment we walked in, he was welcoming, professional, and made sure we had a great experience. He went above and beyond with his customer service, had a great attitude the entire time, and made us feel valued as customers. Employees like Darius are the reason people come back. He truly is the best, and I hope the restaurant recognizes how hard he works. Thank you, Darius, for making our visit so enjoyable!

This is the most ridiculously good brunch spot! It's open 24hrs Thursdays- Saturdays, and for all my Muslims, all the food is halal. We drive about 3hours to try this place out! Well worth it

its been 6 years since my last review. We started coming here in 2018 when we moved to Natomas and I used to come very regularly but was disappointed over the years so its probably been at least 2 years since I have been back. As expected, prices have increased greatly. The fried chicken sandwich that was 10.99 is now $16.99! That is a 60% increase! We stopped by today for lunch and ordered it to go. The inside looked better inside than I remembered so they must have remodeled. The gal at the front gave VERY good customer service and very efficient especially being the only one up front who was the waitress and the cashier. I hate it when people take their sweet time moving. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. They no longer have the potato salad as a side so I got regular fries. Hubs ordered 6 wings and a side of garlic parmesan fries along with banana pudding. Our order came to $49. My sandwich was good and filling. Fries weren't bad either. They were not overcooked. Hub enjoyed his although I felt it was pricey $14.99 for just 6 wings. The wings were crispy but small. Overall my appetite was satisfied but my pocketbook was hurtin' and the only ding. Most of the entrees will be avg $20. I do like their vast selection and really interested in trying the shrimp grits. Oh and they are open 24 hours Fri thru Sunday and midnight on other nights so its something to think about if you have a late night craving.

French Toast Breakfast (French Toast not pictured)

Do not eat here unless you like undercooked food and also not getting what you ordered! Today I made my last door dash order from this place. I ordered the Kid's Chicken Tenders which comes with fries, and I received soggy old microwaved chicken and "fries." I threw it away instantly. I also ordered the French Toast Breakfast which comes with hashbrowns and your choice of bacon or sausage. The app doesn't let you choose bacon or sausage; so I assumed it would come with whatever is in the photo they used, which happens to be bacon. What I received was undercooked sausage that was slimy and soggy. And a few bites of potatoes that were not hasbrowns? Not sure why it would come with that and no heads up whatsoever. I also bought two banana puddings which I am almost certain one was expired. Avoid this place!!! Would like to give negative stars if I could. I have no idea how a restaurant can send "food" like this out to a paying customer!

Our Server was amazing but the food was just flat out nasty. The absolute worst waffle I've ever had and chicken was dry I couldn't even choke it down without a drink, Don't waste your time..

Food: The food was a cool 8/10 stars. I had the chicken strips and waffle and hubby had the Ribeye Omelette. The chicken strips were hot and fresh and seasoned nicely. The waffle was fairly big and was a tasty. Not the best I ever had but very solid. Hubby enjoyed his omelette and said it was stuffed with meat, vegetables and hash browns. Ambiance: The place has a nice modern decor and was very clean. Giving a modern day diner feel. Service: The server was friendly and did her best to serve us. Parking: Plenty of parking Overall: Good portion size. Nice menu variety and perfect for a late night. Service was quick and server was friendly. The food was good and overall I give a 3.5. I'd definitely come back

Food was all right... Chicken tenders are a little too seasoned... Waffles are good Coffee was pretty strong and almost 5 dollars for a cup... $28 for my meal a little much it's definitely not fine dining

Customer service was great, I give the food. 7.5 rating . Reason for the rating we order chicken and waffles and the chicken was not fresh at all , it was extra dark which I know it seemed to be refried . I ordered the steak bites there served with onions and mushroom I got more mushroom than steak bites but they were delicious overall. I would revisit definitely because staff is very kind and friendly

Grace H.

I ordered the strawberry Nutella crepe, but the strawberries were not fresh, which made me lose my appetite. Also, the crepe itself was too thick, so it didn't really taste like a proper crepe. I'll never come back here again.

Lots of seating.

Open 24 hours!! Driving to get to my lil bros house off the freeway and the Chicken & waffles sign caught my eye. It was almost noon. Decided to get some for my niece and daughter. Very friendly staff when walked in. I Sat down & She let me view the menu first. Seats available on both sides of restaurant. Many diners coming in. Ordered to go : a chicken wing & waffle, tenders & waffles , and fries & tenders combo. Total was about $55 - they did not skimp on the condiments, hot sauce, syrup, butter, ranch and ketchup all included in order with some utensils. Tasted the chicken wing and was very juicy, just enough wing sauce but dunked in the ranch and hot sauce and it was delicious. Fries were good, wanted a bit more in box. Tenders were good. Better dunked in the ranch. Kids devoured the meal and left only 1 waffle. I should of ordered more ‍

Also he service was impeccabl. Our server, isis, was incredibly kind and helpfu. The service was speedy which is great bc my grandma was tired and usually had dinner at four (it was 7). I hadn't been since last summer and was happy to return. Parking can be a bit hectic, but once you're inside, the atmosphere makes up for it. It's a family-owned spot, and you can feel it right away -- everyone is kind, welcoming, and takes the time to check in on you. We came for breakfast, but they also offer lunch and barbecue options, so there's plenty to choose from depending on when you go. They've also expanded and now have a location in Elk Grove. I ordered the French toast plate, which came with thick-cut slices of bread, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was soft on the inside with a nice golden finish, full of flavor without being overly sweet. The eggs were well seasoned, and the bacon was cooked just right. BB ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a side of grits. The burger was juicy with grilled onions and melted cheese, and the fries had that crispy, beer-battered texture. They had some unique syrups, such as bourbon caramel and praline. The syrups were on the more subtle side, which some people prefer. I am not one of those people, but it was a good latte for a breakfast/ brunch spot. I wish there was more ice tho.  The skillet cornbread with sharp cheddar, creamed corn & garlic, honey butter & house made seasonal jam on the side was a great starter dish. There's a gravel lot right next to the building and you can take your food to go or enjoy it there. Our food took about 15-20 minutes and then we took it home to enjoy. The portions are definitely fair for the price. They also pack everything well for the ride home. The gumbo is our favorite, it's flavorful and packed with protein like their sausage, chicken, and shrimp and has just a hint of spice. We tried their riblets for the first time and it was a generous portion and we really enjoyed the bbq sauce they used. The mac and cheese is good, but I like mine creamier. It does have a little spice which was nice. The dressing was packed with flavor and we were excited they offered this side because you don't see it everywhere. The lobster bites came with a lemon wedge and their house Thousand Island sauce, and that sauce was incredible. The combination of the crispy lobster, lemon, and sauce worked perfectly together. The broccolini was also seasoned really well and paired nicely with the grilled lemon. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the smoothest I've had. One detail I loved was that they stamped the restaurant's logo into the ice cube. Small touch, but really cool. For my main course, I ordered the Grilled Huli Huli Chicken with a crispy rice cake, pineapple, greens, and a house sauce that completely made the dish. The sweet and tangy flavor paired perfectly with the chicken. Me and my girlfriend also shared the mac and cheese, and honestly, this was one of the best mac and cheeses I've had. It was rich, creamy, well-seasoned, and the breadcrumbs on top added the perfect texture. My girlfriend ordered the braised short rib with garlic mashed potatoes and carrot purée. The short rib was so tender it practically fell apart with a fork. Everything on the plate was delicious. One thing that surprised me was the portion sizes. Everything was very filling, and we ended up taking some food home. By the time dessert came around, we were already pretty full, but there was no way we were skipping it. To finish the night, we shared the Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and strawberries. It was the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant was busy and lively, but it never felt crowded. The tables were spaced out really well, so my girlfriend and I could still enjoy our conversation and watch the basketball game. I also appreciated seeing Chef Q and his wife walking around and checking on guests throughout the night. They stopped by tables to see how everyone was enjoying their food, which was a really nice touch. I even had the chance to take a picture with Chef Q before we left, which was super cool. When we arrived on a Monday, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so we expected attentive service. We were seated, our server came over for drinks, and we let him know we were celebrating my aunt's birthday. This restaurant usually has a nice way of acknowledging birthdays, so we were looking forward to that, but it never happened. We ordered the lobster bites, and they were outstanding as always. My mom, who is allergic to seafood, started feeling a little nauseous from the smell and asked our server for some lemons. He walked away, and we never saw him again. After waiting for quite a while, we asked another server, who brought them over immediately. Our salads and soup were delivered by a food runner, and once again, our server was nowhere to be found. I eventually had to flag down the manager just to have our appetizer and soup plates cleared from the table. Our entrees arrived, the server asked how everything was, and then disappeared again. The next time we saw him was when he dropped off the check. What made it even more frustrating was watching him repeatedly check on, laugh with, and chat with the table behind us while barely acknowledging ours. We completely understand that restaurants get busy and servers can get overwhelmed, but that didn't seem to be the case here. For a $300 dinner for four people at an upscale restaurant, I expected a much higher level of service. The manager did remove our desserts from the bill, and I appreciate that gesture, but I honestly felt more should have been done once it was clear how neglected our table had been. The biggest disappointment is that the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was delicious, which made the lack of service stand out even more. This has always been one of my favorite locations, so I truly hope this was just an off night. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and didn't reflect the level of service I've come to expect from this restaurant.
