Now I understand why this is an unclaimed business with amazing reviews--someone obviously thought that it was a crime that out-of-towners don't know about this amazing place. I regret that we just arrived and opted for takeout, because the pictures do not do the food justice. Everything was phenomenal, you will not be disappointed.

The food and seasonings are fantastic. Tons of menu options for the littles too! We enjoyed sizzling shrimp and chicken fajitas, Fridas 3 enchiladas platter, arroz con pollo topped with a generous portion of chorizo. Go hungry! Very large satisfying portions. Good service for a new restaurant.

White Burrito, Cadillac Margarita and sampler salsa and home chips . All excellent!

Great Mexican Food! Still prefer Bristol's Cielitos Mexican Food. A little more attention to detail that make it unique. Service was great!

Excellent lunch. Ask for the home made hot sauce, if so inclined. Food was great! Service was, too!

Definitely give this a try. The food and drinks are amazing. The servings are humongous. Even the drinks.

Great Lake vibe. Love the Margaritas and the fajitas! Bar area is awesome with 5 TVs. Bartenders make you feel like your neighborhood bar.

Smaller, more informal sibling to Tuckaway Tavern with a smaller menu (burgers and chicken) and an…read moreupbeat vibe. Bar serving craft beers. Burger: I went with the Beast Mode, which comes with two patties, cheese, double bacon, "Hop sauce," crispy onions, pickles, and maybe more. Can't really specify temp, so the patties a bit dry, but well-seasoned and really good beef flavor. I liked the creamy, zingy sauce. But that bacon! Flavorwise, among the best bacon I've ever had. Texturewise, I really liked the thickness and pliability, but this came at the expense of some crispness. I'll take that trade but same may not. I also really liked the bun, which is a seeded briochy model that's less dense than what I've had previously at Tuckaway. Overall, very good burger. Gimme some juiciness and it's a great burger. Fries: They come standard with the burgers and chicken. A small order, but enough to get by and nicely done. Many fries options with various add-ons. You can also get onion strings, even though they're not on the menu. Shake: I went with chocolate. Not as fudgy as some I've had, but tasted very natural, with the milk flavor coming through, no shortage of chocolate, and a consistently that's thick but very drinkable. Good accompaniment to the burger. Chicken Tenders: I split a trio that came with fries and choice of sauce. These were huge and flattened, kinda like a chicken parm. Very crisp, well-seasoned, and juicy in spots, not-so-juicy in other spots. Good flavor on its own and in tandem with our hot honey (generous cup), dry rub (ditto), and both. Friendly staff throughout. Looking forward to coming back.

What we ordered: -Cornbread: 3/5, great portion to share with the table and piping hot which I loved but wish it was moister and had more honey on top. -Caesar salad: 5/5, incredibly fresh, dressing was delicious and evenly spread among the whole salad, fresh anchovies on top were a nice touch -Crabcakes: 4.8/5, only comes with 2 but the cakes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn on top was very boring I wish they spiced it up a bit but it did not take away from the flavor of the cakes so I kept the score high. -Lobster Pappardelle: 5/5, one of my favorite meals we ate on vacation!! Generous lobster portion with perfectly cooked pappardelle in a very tasty sauce. I already miss it and wish I could eat it again. -Braised Short Rib: 3.8/5, beautiful presentation and everything tasted great but very small polenta/carrot portions and I wish the meat was more tender. It wasn't bad, it just didn't blow my socks off. -Espresso crème brûlée: 4.5/5, was the perfect birthday dessert for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Quality espresso flavor, wish it was a little crispier on top. Food was ~4/5 but our overall experience was 5/5. Our server, Pedro, was so friendly and helped us with dish recommendations. When I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he brought the crème brûlée out with a candle and two other staff members to sing to him which was so sweet. We will definitely come back here next time we're in town!

We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

Choice for Dinner, skip the Holidays…read more We came here once before and had a really good experience, which is why we decided to book a 2:00 PM reservation to celebrate Mother's Day. We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.
