The person with short hair (and a cute pug puppy!) made the experience worth it, they were so nice and went above and beyond. The food was great too, everything was very freshly made and fast. I hope going forward the owner values the people that they have working for them, who are essential to the businesses' success, and works with the union to ensure their wellbeing.

Have not tried this location since it moved from the food truck by Matt's BBQ. Food is still delicious and a must have when visiting Portland. Service is always friendly and sometimes awkward. But what isn't in Portland? The decor is retro and very fitting of the neighborhood.

The food was fresh and was better than I could imagine. There was a huge line but the wait was not very much. Everything was delicious and such huge portions. Very friendly staff

Oh my gosh! I love this place so much!!! I got a sandwich last time I was in Portland from their food truck and this time decided to check out the restaurant since we were close by and heading back home. I had the Vegan and Sara, yet again, but this time I decided to skip the onions. The sandwich comes on sourdough, has a house made vegan sausage, Just Egg, avocado, and vegan queso. It's absolutely fantastic! The service was also exceptional.

We always make it a point to visit this spot whenever we're in Portland! Their vegan patty is absolutely amazing -flavorful and satisfying without the unpleasant smell that you find in the market's vegan patties. The sourdough bread is outstanding, perfectly crisp, and it stays that way throughout the whole sandwich. Their pesto sauce is a game-changer -- fresh, vibrant, and pairs so well with everything. Truly one of the best sandwich places we've ever been to!

I kept seeing videos of the Yolko Ono show up on my social media and I knew I had to stop in next time I was in the area. Love the themed interior and menu and yes, the yolko ono deserves all the love it's getting recently. Got a hash brown on the side and it was crispy and a perfect pairing!

I think this is a Free-Range Against the Machine

I came here for a quick bite to eat while running errands in Portland. I sat at the bar and had a nice chat with one of the workers as I scarfed down my vegetarian Free-Range Against The Machine sandwich. The meal was good, and the interior decor is cute!

Here is the thing - do I really need to write a review to say how good their sandwiches are - when I ordered one just to talk it home after having brunch already at their restaurant? Ok, ok yes I can go further into it. When I said I was thinking of taking one home to cut it into English tea time slices for later my hubby said - well I can make you a fried egg sandwich - stopped looked me in the eye and we laughed - no you really can't. Their sandwiches are just a perfect bite. The sourdough with the perfect crisp, not overly fat but also not dry a perfect fried egg on the second, and then all the extras that you might have with your sandwich seasoned to perfection. Yes a good chef will get it done and my hubby is one - but not on the first try, so why try to recreate it when we can just take one? And so I did. The mocktails (and that they even have plenty of them) are delicious as well. And here is a thing for a food card restaurant on a brick-and-mortar location like this here on Mississippi it is so cozy and stylish we had three mocktails, plenty of coffee and a good time just sitting and enjoying the decoration. Well done guys well done. Btw the service is great and Mario is so cute Sorry - Haha.

We ran up at 1:55pm (they close at 2) and was able to order a YOLKO ONO, vegetarian patty. Great service. Never felt rushed. So glad we were able to sit in the courtyard and enjoy our lunch after much walking! Definitely must try!

The Veg n Sara lunch special was just the fix I needed to adjust from CST to the PST time zones! The caramelized onion and avocado combination was tangy and creamy all in one. The sourdough bread was light and toasted to perfection. The lunch special included a spud (has brown) that came with a in-house made aioli -- I could've eaten at least two more of those! I love the ambiance of the retro-style cafe with natural light streaming inside and the spacious booths. The service was friendly and fast.

The space feels cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I especially loved the little post-it wall where customers can leave behind anything they want a small detail that makes the café feel even more personal and community-driven. What I ordered: Soft Cream Matcha One of the creamiest matchas I've ever had! The soft cream was incredibly fluffy and smooth, while the matcha itself was bold enough to come through with every sip and also had a coconuty essence to it. It had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. If you love a rich, creamy matcha, this is definitely one to try. Es-Yen A classic Thai-style iced coffee made with condensed milk. This was strong, sweet, and definitely had that much-needed wake-me-up effect! The condensed milk gave it a creamy sweetness while still allowing the bold coffee flavor to shine through. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong exactly what I needed. Buttered & Sweetened Condensed Milk Toast I originally had my eye on the pandan toast, but it's clearly a popular choice because it was already sold out earlier in the day! So I went with the buttered and sweetened condensed milk toast instead, and I'm so glad I did. The toast was crispy on the outside, buttery, warm, and finished with that sweet condensed milk flavor. Every bite practically melted in my mouth. The pandan toast is definitely on my list for next time! My Portland experience was made even better by my stop at Kaleido Coffee. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to give me recommendations and making sure everyone was taken care of even during a busy rush. Until next time, Portland!

The shop is situated in an iconic part of NW 21st; it exudes sophisticated and timeless charm. Stepping inside, you see the historical bones of the building laced with modern touches of hip decor and thoughtful design. It's a bit retro and a bit edgy all while being chic, so it's very well aligned with Portland itself. Sit on a live edge bench! Enjoy a marshmallow stick. Stare at the luxurious wallpaper. But don't let these things deter you from the epic coffee experience that awaits you. Subtly smooth, adequately bold and flavors aplenty... all served with a smile. The staff is incredibly friendly. One of my favorite coffee experiences of the year so far. It's memorable on many levels, and the atmosphere aligns so well with the vibrancy of our city.
