I recently traded in my 2015 Chevy Silverado Diesel for a 2020 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab because I was tired of the diesel exhaust system constantly malfunctioning. The Tundra had a growl to it and I just figured it was a performance FlowMaster muffler that younger men seem to like. Anyway, after buying the truck and taking it to a non-dealership Toyota shop to get a through inspection and an OEM muffler put on it, imagine my surprise to learn it didn't have a muffler and adding one would be a $1,300 job. So, having a 90 day, 4,000 mile Ford Blue warranty on my new Tundra, I headed back to Friendly Ford to complain, because it's actually illegal to have a vehicle in Nevada without a muffler (per NRS statutes). Charles the sales manager at Friendly Ford made good on the Friendly part of Friendly Ford and hooked me up with Mario Duran at the Ford body shop two blocks north of the dealership. Mario was responsive and kept the lines of communication open, even contacting me after I dropped it off to understand the type of muffler I wanted...a bit of growl like a FlowMaster? or dead silent stock?.I told him that I'm old and I was just looking for silence, so I didn't wake my wife up in the morning when heading to work, or drawing the ire of law enforcement when gunning it at a light. It took a few days to get the Toyota parts ordered and installed at a muffler shop in Henderson, but the truck is now silent. Mario picked up the truck himself from the muffle shop and dropped it off at the dealership so I could pick it up after work. If that wasn't enough, he just called me today, two days later to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. In this day and age when customer service can be lacking, I'm posting this because good people should be praised. I'm not a Ford guy myself, but if I was and needed body work, I'd be contacting Mario Duran. If you see this Mario, thank you again my friend! read more

Save yourself a HEADACHE. TURN BACK NOW. I brought my car here after being in auto accident thru my insurance company All-State, wanting Ford parts to fix my Ford truck. Came to Ford and met Julie, who looked over my car when I first came here. My accident was in May on Mother's Day. After setting up an appointment of almost a month out to wait for repairs, I dropped my car off July 13 which was a Wednesday, I was told my car shouldn't take longer than thru the weekend as insurance companies don't like to pay for car rentals that long. After weeks of calling and asking about my car progress with Julie, I got the parts that aren't in yet. My techs are all out with covid, etc. And my car this whole time never being worked on. The absolute run around. They sure cashed all the funds pretty quickly. So after 30 days, when my car rental was up cause insurance would only pay a maximum of 30 days, I got fed up. Spoke to Manager Mike who thought this was funny how I demanded my car to be returned to me and how he would only pay up to 2 days in my car rental cause he needed to finish up on my car. Which i am sure was never touched. I went down to Ford to pick up my truck, to find Julie and Mike, who leave by 4 pm with only the clerk in the office and another adjuster. The clerk wouldn't give me my keys until I paid the deductible. It was fine, after seeing my car from the outside, you can tell the work was unfinished. The entire bottom grill on my front end was missing. The blonde hair adjuster told me to come back and speak with Julie as she wasn't the one helping me. And I needed to come back for my front license plate. I called to notify my insurance company that my work was not completed and to have my insurance company call and ask them what they said the hold up was. And why was the car not finished after 30 days. After my insurance company called, Ford stated missing parts. The same parts that every week when you call, they were waiting on. My husband spoke with Julie a few weeks later, where we had told her the work was uncompleted. She acted like she knew nothing, but after her doing some research and pulling a ford manuel she noticed that yes, I was missing a part on the front end of my car, the grill piece, which we have text messages proving and showing where in fact the grill piece is missing. She was supposed to order this part and fix the problem. Weeks went by, and nothing. A month later, Julie called, looking for a check that was issued by my insurance company, which was never brought up when I got my car and signed all the paperwork. Now, they are sending me to collections. Which is crazy when work is unfinished and they owe me parts. Insurance fraud at its finest. Trying to get paid for undone work. They send out surveys, I don't know what for cause everyone has the same complaints and how unprofessional these Clowns are running this place. I will never buy a Ford again and have them treat me this way. I will never let anyone that I know come here. My point here is that I don't mind the 30-plus days of having my car. It's when you drop the car off that you are told a few days, and I understand things happen. But after being told the same excuse every week gets old. And being lied to, too. After already waiting a month for my appointment, then another 30 plus days for a repair is insanity. After reading all the horrible yelp reviews, I would have never gone here. Took my vehicle in for a recall was told would take about a week before kits arrived, it's been over a month and when I called to follow up they couldn't even find the paperwork I completed when I went in nor have they called me to have me to schedule an appointment to take my vehicle back to be looked at. WHAT A NIGHTMARE !!! I beg that you please read it fully before you consider taking your car there. I know it's long but I pray you will learn from my mistakes. I got into an accident and left my car there since insurance was going to cover it, I assumed the dealership shop would be the best place to take my car to. Oh how wrong was I! I should have read other reviews beforehand but when you're dealing with the stress of an accident you don't think things clearly so I'm hoping you'll take your time to understand what I went through and make your own judgment. **** The Early Stages of Pain **** My car has been sitting there for over 6 weeks (January 25, 2019) It is now March 8th. Since then I have been having to rely on rentals for work and errands, which as you all know, is everything BUT cheap. Mack, The person in charge of my vehicle always gave me the same answer when I called "Oh we are waiting for a lift available" ... It took them about 15 days just to estimate the damage and deal with insurance, but for the next 2 weeks they were not been able to get my car even started on repairs! **** Follow Up After 4 Weeks **** I called the week before and was told my car would be complete on Wednesday the 27th of February! Finally! I rejoiced and was ready to head there to pick up my car so I called the man in charge of my vehicle just to make sure it was ready to go. He laughed at me and called me a liar! He said "I never told you Wednesday, who told you that?" He told me the same thing he's been telling me for 4 weeks "Oh we don't have a lift available yet, as soon as one clears up i'll repair your vehicle, we're waiting for parts too and stuff you know" 1 - How is it MY FAULT you don't have a lift available? I'm taking a car to a body shop, I'm expecting the body shop to be equipped with the right tools to repair my vehicle. Why wouldn't they tell me that before I brought my car in? 2- What part takes 2-3 weeks to arrive? ...For a Ford? .... **** Service Manager Gets Involved! **** Being fed up with all the excuses, I decided to speak to the Service Manager. I am usually the guy who makes fun of people who complain to managers, but this situation had gotten completely out of hand and I felt like the person in charge of my vehicle was either dishonest or lazy (perhaps both). The service manager was courteous and decided to find out what was going on. He later calls me saying they actually had, in fact, been working on my car and it was not pending a lift anymore. Perfect! He then told me that they were trying to find a used part for my vehicle. I asked if they don't use new parts, since that was the reason I was utilizing them, because I wanted all new parts. I don't know if he assumed I was a housewife from the 1950's but he told me this wonderful line: "You see since your car is a little dated, if we put new parts you'll get all sorts of noise and issues with the new part" Got it champ! Gave me a bunch of excuses on why they had not finished my car yet but then told me it should be done "within the next few days....that was.... WEEKS ago. I haven't heard a thing from them since. ****AFTER 62 DAYS IN THE SHOP (and counting since I still don't have my car) **** It's now been 2 months and 8 days as of this writing (April 2) I still don't have my car but the funny thing is they have already cashed all the checks my insurance company has given them. It has gotten to a point where this is beyond ridiculous, no one cares, no one gives a damn, it's always some lame excuse about parts, not being able to find this or that...for a Ford... sure buddy. I have never seen such incompetence and unprofessionalism in my entire life! EDIT: Answering to owner's response. 1- Obviously if I hadn't told them what wheels I wanted, insurance would not have paid out for them since they wouldn't know the cost. Not only did I tell them exactly what wheels I wanted, insurance factored in the alignment and balancing costs - AND THEY CASHED THE CHECK. 2- If they truly had been waiting on me, why not simply...give me a call? They have all my information. Wouldn't it be as simple as phone call? If the car was truly complete, wouldn't they try to get it out of their lot as soon as possible? My 2019 Raptor was in an unfortunate accident back in June of 2021 and thankfully the Raptor saved our lives . The whole process with Friendly Ford body shop was explained in great detail and I didn't have to do anything except be patient . Larry Bowman was very kind and honest with us the whole time . The truck is as perfect as it was when we bought it new . It feels great to have it back . Insurance covered the repair and I would never take it to a third party body shop. Took my 2014 Ford Focus in for its yearly clutch maintenance (these cars are lemons) under warranty. They realize the battery is cracked but won't let me bring in one to replace it, I have to buy their overpriced one and have them install it. $170 later I look at the work done and it is pathetic. I brought in three vehicles over the last 2 years to this establishment. This last time is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Which was in September 2018. You will be literally treated as just a dollar sign and not as a person. Every time you go in to see what's going on with the vehicle. Mostly no progress has been made, not to mention they always talk down to you. Friendly Ford way overestimates any job they do. Charging way more than any other shop would. I give them credit they do do good work, but it's not worth being treated like you're nothing and your cars don't mean nothing. My 2017 Focus RS it's getting totaled out because it got vandalized someone poured paint on it. I understand they have to replace a lot of parts but it's not $20,000 worth. I even kindly ask if they would put my car together and they said no not if "I'm not your not paying for it" just like that I realize that this shops only out there for the money. At the end of the day my car was in there for a month all they did was tearing it down. Get my spoiler and put it in some water to see if the paint will come off. For that they're charging $2,500 to my insurance company. I can see now that's why my car is being totaled out. Friendly Ford it's just too expensive if you're trying to keep your car. I recommend if you're trying to keep your car and not having it totaled out please do your research and find a more reasonable shop. Friendly Ford does do good work, but if you love your car and don't want to get totaled out it's not worth taking here. On the bottom I'll be putting before and after pictures from when I brought the car to how it looks now. There's honestly no way this is $20,000 worth of damage. I'm convinced they're just trying to rip off my insurance company. Honestly Friendly Ford made my car look worse. read more

Don't use Friendly Ford Shop without getting a second opinion. Had to take my car to another collision center to find out that a simple job was done wrong. Door was leaking, Gas cap was put on wrong. Doors were not aligned properly. Never answered phone calls for status of car. Manager took the car back into the shop when he was told that the job wasn't right and did nothing. Second Collision Center fixed all problems and additional problems found. read more

I went to Ford Body and Paint for a rear bumper fix on my Ford Edge after a collision. I could've chosen any repair shop I wanted and thought I would get great service from Ford. I dropped my car off with DC Baker the week after Thanksgiving. He said it was too early to tell but his best estimate was that it would take about a week to fix. A few days later he called to tell me that they found more damage than the original insurance adjuster estimated and they were waiting for an Allstate adjuster to come look at it so they could order the extra parts. He informed me Allstate was a week behind on appointments so he was guessing it would be a couple weeks for the car to be done. I did not receive a call nor did I try to call or bug them about the car until December 22nd (the end of the 4th week of it being there) I called and the front desk said DC was at lunch and that I could leave a voicemail and he should be back in an hour. I left a voicemail saying I was checking the status of the car and was really wanting to have it back for the holiday weekend. Did not receive a call back and they were closed for 3days for the holiday. By Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 26th) I still had not received a call back so decided to call again. DC answered and told me that the technician was bringing my car in the garage to put it back together and it should be ready by the next day ( Dec. 27th ). I told him I am driving my family around in a car with mechanical problems and asked if I could get a loaner until the car was done. He told me they don't "do" loaners. Them being a dealership and service/repair shop I'm thinking this is bull. Dec. 27th came and went and I never received a call from DC. My husband called the next day on Dec. 28th. DC answered, said the car was done it was just getting washed and he waiting on some final paperwork from Allstate. He told my husband he " should be hearing from him later". Well, we rearranged plans we had that night to make sure we could be available to pick up the car since we know they close at 6pm. At 5PM that day we hadn't heard anything so we called him. It went to DC's voicemail. We waited and called again at 530PM. Went to DC's voicemail. We called a final time at 545pm and again no answer from anyone but went to DC's voicemail. The following day on December 29th we waited in the morning for a call back and didn't receive anything. We decided to physically show up at the shop around noon that day. We saw our car parked in the parking lot with water dripping from the tires. We asked to speak to a manager and after waiting 10 minutes DC comes out to talk to us. We start telling him our frustrations and how the lack of communication seemed ridiculous, and we felt we were being strung along. He was instantly defensive saying he never made promises for time lines and blamed the insurance company for all the hold up. He goes to his office to call the insurance company and magically after us being there less than 30 minutes he receives the papers he needs and gives us out car back. He offered no apologies or took any interest in our issues. I truly believe that if we had not gone down there to confront him in person our car would have sat there another holiday weekend. They vacuumed the carpet and washed the outside but after having our car almost 6 weeks they couldn't wipe the dashboard down? I am so disappointed in the service I received specifically from DC Baker. I understand that insurance companies suck and are a pain to deal with but every once in a while he should offer updates. He didn't return my call or respond to my voicemails a single time. A LITTLE communication would've made this situation a lot more tolerable. read more

Worst dealership i have ever delt with if you don't want to be ripped off go anywhere else

I brought my 2017 F-150 in for repairs due to a traffic accident. The first meeting with the staff went very well and I felt comfortable that my truck was in good hands. The repairs took much longer than expected. Even though the Insurance Co. had some responsibility in delays I believe there were other issues. When I dropped the truck off I was very clear as to one obvious issue and was assured it would be addressed. I was told several times that my Rep would do the test drive and insure that it was perfect. When I finally was able to pick the truck up I did not make a close inspection of the repairs. (should have) When I entered the Fwy to return home it was very clear that the one issue that I had spoke about was never addressed. I called immediately and I was told I would need to return for a test drive with the Rep. It only took a few seconds for him to feel and hear just what I was talking about. His reply? He never drove the truck over 50 mph. I was clear that the issue was between 55-65 mph. When I got home I then noticed "All" the issues that were not addressed or were not completed correctly. Now its been a couple of months and I am still very dis-satisfied with the service and repairs to my truck. Before sending it back to them I took a picture of the drivers window that was not able to completely lower in to door and sent it to the Rep. when I got the truck back the second time the window was not addressed. My car was broken into on December 28, 2016 and friendly ford came to pick up my car by towing. Due to the holiday week I gave them the benefit of the doubt that my car would take a few days to fix. I was wrong. After taking the initiative to call/follow up it takes more than a week to fix a window with tint and check alarm system. I called several times before I head out to pick up my car that was "ready" and when I arrived D.C. The adjuster came to inspect and show me the car and it was not ready the way they said it would be. Now I was quoted 45 minutes to an hour to get the job done. Frustrating to be working more than someone else when it's not your job. Due to my insurance paying for everything it's interesting to see that friendly ford knows how to bill, yet can't complete their job. I would never come back! read more

The absolute worst. Horrible place to do business. Brought my brand new Explorer in for repair on April 29 after another driver hit me. My car has been there in various stages of "repair" for THREE MONTHS. They tell you over and over they have to 'order parts' just to get you off the phone or out of their office, and then apologize and blame other employees when your car isn't repaired. An employee quit and they actually told me ***he took his notes with him and they wouldn't have even known my car was still damaged if I didn't call them to see when it would be ready!!*** If you like people to schmooze you while they leave your damaged car sitting in the back, this is the place for you. If you want someone to actually fix your car when they say they will, definitely go somewhere else. read more
