Do NOT eat here. Cooks and servers don't wear gloves, the walk-in fridge has black mold everywhere, and the salad dressings expired in 2016. Have been going here since before I can remember and was sick when I found out what actually went on behind the scenes. People think Friendlys are getting shut down because of staff shortages and bad management, but most of it is because of all of the health violations. In all my 34 years I've never seen anything this disgusting. This place should be shut down. read more

New management is awesome! Had free ice cream give-away with magnets and chip clips and balloons. It's truly a Mom and Pop owned entity now (with son and daughter present) and they are super nice people!!! Come out and support your local Friendlys in Weymouth and in Wollaston!! I will make it a point to patronize these establishments with the tough times Friendlys has had. Not only is the food great, but the service is awesome and the owners are a wonderful family and people who really care. read more

I've been here for few years. My past experience was just fine. My kids loved here because of fancy ice cream they have. But we will not be coming back after we had lunch on last Sunday. My son ordered a burger with house Salads, and I ordered steak tips with salad and bread. Everything was awful. Foods were dry and overcooked. I was specific mention I want median well for my steak, but they made it well well done. Same as my son's burger. Anyway we done on this place. read more

I went up to the ice cream window and the older blonde woman there made direct eye contact with me and my girlfriend, then proceeded to talk to her coworker gossiping for about two minutes(not even exaggerating) until I interrupted her having literally to tell her to stop fucking chitchatting while she has customers waiting. Disgusts me how downhill the place has gone. read more

She finished with that party and told us "I'll be right with you after I put in this food order." We say "ok." But she was gone a long time. She finally came back, with a couple drinks for the other party, talked to them a bit, then left again, telling us, again, she'd be right with us. Came back with 2 more drinks for the other party. And left again. At this point we have nothing but menus. No water, no popcorn, nothing. We're near the host stand, and I can see him, just standing there picking his fingernails. I'm thinking maybe he should pitch in if this one waitress is overwhelmed with this one other party. I keep nudging my wife, saying "let's leave and go somewhere else." She says no, so we wait. Finally, here comes the waitress... But she doesn't come to us! She goes to the OTHER party and asks "you ready to put the rest of your food in?" They don't even have their apps yet, and we have NOTHING after about fifteen minutes! We're listening to them order, and it sounds complicated again, things like "no pickles on it, but a side of pickles, please." We're rolling our eyes, can't believe she's STILL ignoring us after telling us multiple times she'll be right with us.
