Manager is super rude here when their staff make a mistake they blame the customer. Not coming back. Stay away.

Love it! Bartenders are always very welcoming and friendly. You can tell the owners really care about this business. Whether it's the food quality and service or the many updates on social media letting people know what's going on with new locations, new menu items or any issues that may effect your experience. I was lucky enough to actually meet Ray once and he was just so friendly and genuine about his love for the restaurant and his customers. Please check these guys out if you haven't already. Not you're average bar n grill. Unique menu options and really cool inside. Glad these guys are a local option for me. read more

Our family LOVES Friends Buford Grill! Ownership is the absolute BEST and the bartenders and every server that we've had in the past seven years that we've been coming here has been nothing short of amazing. Terrible service. Table of 5 waited for 1 hour for our food. (And not crowwded to justify tHat). Then waited another 30 minutes for the check when we requested. Very frustrating. read more

$6 for a Blue Moon!!! I can go to a nicer place and not pay $6! My friend and I would go regularly, but after getting charged $6 for a Blue Moon ON TAP I said I wouldn't be going back. Fast forward at least 6 months, we ended up going there for a burger on a Sun afternoon, Blue Moons are still $6! My friends burger came out wrong and when we told our server she asked management and they said they could only remake. We had already waited a long time for the burgers to come out we weren't waiting any longer. I won't be returning any time soon. Really! $6 for a Blue Moon ON TAP at this place is way too much! I've gone back twice now and noticed they've updated their menu to reflect a new mac & cheese although I haven't ordered it yet I saw an order coming out today and it looks pretty good, like baked mac & cheese. The last 2 times I've gotten the cheesy burger and tots both really good. The tots are crispy which I love and the burger was cooked perfectly. I also noticed that they lowered the price the shrimp app as well. Thank you for taking my comments into consideration. It's awesome to see a place actually listen to their customers. read more

Tonight was our first night at Friends and we went to specifically do trivia. So disappointed in the restaurant service we received! Our server was rude and indifferent and it seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but there. We orderd two burgers which were good but nothing special, my wife liked that tater tots was an option for a side. There seemed to be some personal issues within the wait staff that boiled over into the dining room. Either way the wait staff seemed to have more on their minds than their jobs. Don't think we will be returning again. read more

My burger was really thin and greasy. A girl with short red hair was really rude, took forever getting orders and she invaded our privacy telling us about her life story. Food was very disgusting I was very dissatisfied. Hands down worst over priced restaurant been to. read more

This place is so fantastic. Food is always good and it's a great local place to hang out.

We went there for my wife's birthday, party of 7. the special for the night included ribs which my son and I got and enjoyed. In-laws really liked the fish and chips and the birthday girl enjoyed the French dip. We also had the wings and because kids don't like spicy, the brought me side of the sriracha sauce which was really good. Service was excellent. We didn't do desert as we had birthday cupcakes awaiting. Will be going back. read more

Went at lunch time. Was seated promptly Table and bottles were dirty. They were cleaned promptly. Ordered the gumbo meal. Was a full meal. ** warning it's spicy as it should be **. The gumbo was great came with a side of grilled cheese which was toasted perfectly and had enough cheese in it. Wife ordered club sandwich with tater tots. Sandwich was good the tots were really good. We will be going back. Need to check this place out. read more

Wonderful lunch experience here! Tyler was our host and waiter and he recommended the Hawaiian Wrap and French dip since this was our first time eating at Friends. We were not disappointed!!! Service was great, good was fresh, hot and served quickly. Atmosphere here is great and I'd feel good brining anyone here from my mom and kids to hanging with friends. I visit Friends in Buford regularly mainly due to the servers, bartenders and management. Everyone is friendly, creating a family feeling each visit. Fantastic service is the only way places can set themselves apart from this cookie cutter industry. The best dish on the menu by far is the Cajun Chicken Pasta. What a great place! Should be 4.5 stars at least! Great menu variety with fun descriptions! "The Hooch" fish was good but the broccoli was cooked to perfection and the pasta salad was the best I've had...ever! (I substituted it instead of dirty rice). My sweetie enjoyed the steak wedgie salad with blue cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and the salad had the perfect amount of blue cheese dressing and crumbles! Now headed to the play across the street at the Buford Community Theatre. Thanks to our awesome server Adam! GM Bruce was attentive as well. We'll be back! read more

I went to dinner with my husband last night and we had the worst service. Not once was our drinks refilled, we weren't checked on at all, and we had to wait 20 minutes after we finished our food to even get our waitress to walk by and drop the check. She had no problem bring that to us and coming back to get us to sign it!! I'm really disappointed because the food has always been amazing, but the service inside was just awful. The place wasn't even busy, which I almost wish it was, so I wouldn't have been so disappointed. read more

Friends is a cool little neighborhood restaurant/bar. My husband and I go here at least once a week. The sandwiches/wraps, wings, and salads are good, the beer is cold, and the Keno game keeps us entertained throughout the meal. The service is great (we love Rebecca!), but a special shout out to our girl, Tara. Not only is she a great server, she has a fun personality AND is our lucky charm with the Keno game. ;-). Friends Buford has become our go-to place! We never have to sit trying to decide where to go. We know at Friends we are going to get good service, good food and yes, at the bar we always meet new friends! The chicken nachos and the chicken wrap are favorites and we rarely leave without an order of tator tots. The shrimp po boy is good too. read more

Had the worst experience tonight. The food was okay but our server apparently needed a night off. She was kind when she was at the table but after placing our order I noticed she had a sniffle. She sniffed every few seconds and then proceeded to rub her nose with the back of her hand. She got my order wrong but did fix it with what I wanted. Unfortunately when it came to the table it was cold, but I was starving so I decided to eat it anyway. Drinks were not refilled without having to flag her down and she did not check on us until we were done eating. To top it all off she was standing at the wait station and I saw her cough into her palm and then go back to taking care of tables. I've had great experiences at this location in the past but tonight will keep me from coming back. I can handle mediocre food on occasion, it happens, but serving people while sick does not earn a repeat visit from me. read more

This place I've only been a few times. And nolani the bartender is super sweet. But I went today and my drinks were good, but I was served old, cold fries that took less than 30 seconds to come out after ordering. I'm nervous about sending food back, but that was just bad in my opinion. And I was the only customer so there's really no excuse to give me old cold food when it isn't busy . read more

Had a great experience. Manager and server were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised at the food. Same dish we had previously ordered at other Friends Grill had upgrades at this location.
