From the time that Caroline answered my call, I knew I had made the right connection for the AC repairs I needed. She asked me all the right questions and explained that they would be able to help me today. She was very personable and professional, and she made me feel like my situation and I really mattered. I am a senior citizen, and I find that people don't always get that kind of treatment nowadays. Nick, the technician, showed up at my house less than 3 1/2 hours later. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. After running some diagnostics, he opened up the unit inside my home and then the outside unit as well. He explained to me each step of the way what needed to be done to repair my AC. I was amazed at how he had completed it all and had something like 50° air coming out of all of my floor vents in a little more than an hours time. Caroline and Nick are both assets to Mr. Cool's business, and I can honestly say they were my angels for the day as well. The cost was very reasonable, and definitely less than what I thought it might have been. Mr. Cool's has become my "go to" if/when I have any other trouble with my AC or heating. They replied quickly and we agreed on a time. They specifically said the time worked and they would be here. Then, without any other explanation, they simply said they were booked and couldn't make it. Nothing other than that: no message apologizing, no message saying they're prioritizing rescheduling as soon as possible, nothing. I waited to post this 9+ hours after their last message to see what the owner said, but I've gotten nothing in reply. So while I should at least get an apology, I'm not surprised to see zero accountability. If they can't simply apologize, I'm not sure how they think they can be trusted to do any actual work.

As someone who uses Yelp often, I really value responsiveness, transparency, and overall experience--and J&J absolutely delivered on all fronts. We used Yelp's project feature to find a company for a full air duct cleaning on our two-story home, and J&J was one of the first to respond. From the start, they stood out. They asked thoughtful, specific questions, provided a clear quote, and patiently answered all of ours (and we had a lot ). Gilbert and his teammate arrived right on time and kept us updated from when they were en route to when they arrived. They were professional, respectful, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process--wearing shoe covers, being mindful of our neighbors while setting up their equipment, and walking us through each step so we always knew what to expect. By the end, every duct in our home--including the dryer vent--was thoroughly cleaned. And the results? Immediate and noticeable. It's been just over a week, and my indoor allergies are completely gone. Before the cleaning, I was waking up multiple times a night going through boxes of tissues. Clear the areas under all vents ahead of time--they place commercial blankets to catch debris. 4. Make sure they have access to your dryer vent. I called Lee's, and the entire process was quick and easy from start to finish. Their automated phone system was surprisingly simple to use to create an account, and I was quickly connected with a friendly representative who found an available technician within a three-hour window. Less than two hours later, Brian called to let me know he was about 15 minutes away. I also received a text with his photo and notification that he was on the way, which was a nice touch. Brian and Marco quickly diagnosed the problem, had the replacement part on hand, and got the AC up and running right away. From the time I called to having cold air again, the entire process took about three hours! This was my first time using Lee's Air, Plumbing & Heating, and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, efficiency, and customer service. Predatory flat-rate pricing, aggressive padding, and their workers are probably paid by commission and trained to be as charismatic as possible. Once you sign, you cannot argue down the bill. Pretty much every service they have offered and charged for is 2x the price. They do not work very fast, and do a very uninformative and sub-par job. Don't get yourself tied in with them. Go for a second opinion, or a third. Do your research and avoid large scale bureaucratic companies like this. Save your money.

When our hot water heater failed, Chance quickly assessed the issue by having our tenant send photos. He was able to determine that the leak was coming from the unit itself (not the pipes), which saved valuable time and avoided unnecessary delays. Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. Michael sent a photo after the work was completed and also made it easy to handle payment remotely. Most importantly,I felt confident that they were taking great care of our tenants in our absence. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, service and integrity and I recommend them with complete confidence.
