You have to check this place out!!! We came here to grab lunch to go for the beach and it was perfect and delicious! Do not miss the loaded mac and cheese from Elkhorn BBQ. It was plenty hot and absolutely delicious without feeling heavy. The peppers on top were so good and it was the perfect comfort meal. We also grabbed a rice bowl from them as well which was also perfect. Would love to come back to chill out at the bar or open space. Service was easy with the buzzer system. The best Mediterranean restaurant in North Bend closed awhile ago and there's no other place to get an awesome gryos in Coos Bay...soooo....I ordered some gyros and fries from "On the Strip" food truck. It was around 3:30pm and no one else was there. It's was a ghost food cart town. The gyros sounded and looked good, but looks are deceiving. The pitas weren't even warm and most of gryo meat was super dry and tough. My daughters gyro was also very dry. At times I felt as if I was chewing on something that had the consistency of bacon. Not good. The tzatziki sauce tasted like plain yogurt. I was given a few slices of tomato, shredded lettuce and some red onion. The French fries were not fresh and super salty. So disappointed. We ended up throwing away half of the order. $42 for 3 gyros and plain fries. I'm sorry, but this was definitely not worth the price. I won't be back. read more

I love so many of the food trucks there, like Yoda's hut, the big cheese, and 101 Taco the serves at the bar is great. I love the staff there, they are so nice and know my drink order without me asking. If you are looking for a great place to eat for lunch or dinner with is a great spot. Salt. If I could write a one word review that's what I'd say. To elaborate, we had carnitas and carne asada tacos with rice and beans. The latter had very little flavor. Salt would have helped, but Mexican spices would have been better. The tacos looked great, but we're just flat. No heat, no acid, no spices, just meh. No real service. ( food truck, remember?) they weren't busy, and it took about 20 minutes to get our hot food. One cool thing is they have a covered area with seating and drinks available. read more

I like food trucks because they seem to have a small menu where they can focus on making everything they serve really good. So far the businesses at the Front St Food Trucks are living up to my expectations. They're a little hard to find. Best way to get there is on Hwy 101. They're about a block north of the Chevron car wash on the right. Same parking lot as Real Deals home decor. There are 7 trucks gathered together to give everyone a chance at finding something they like. A nice variety including burgers, BBQ, waffles, seafood, sandwiches, Mexican, chicken, etc. I've tried Frying Nemo's, Yoda's Hut, and Elkhorn BBQ. All 3 have been very good. My vegan wife has also been able to find something to eat. The individual trucks have separate reviews in Yelp. The other feature I like about this group is that they have indoor seating with a full bar. Children are welcome as long as they don't sit at the bar itself. Most of the trucks will give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready, so you can relax inside at your table until your meal is done. They have a selection of beer and drinks along with sodas. The reason I took off a star is that it's very common to go there and find several of the trucks closed. Last time I was there, 3 of them weren't open including the one I was hoping to eat at. I know one of the reasons people open food trucks instead a regular restaurant is the extra flexibility in their work hours, but when they're in a collection like this, I'd really expect them to be open especially around lunch and dinner hours. Overall, I'd recommend this collection of trucks. The indoor seating and full bar really help to make this a more enjoyable experience in rainy Oregon. read more

Been wanting to go here for awhile now and we finally had the chance, and let me tell you.. we were absolutely pleasantly surprised! A nice variety of food trucks, and indoor bar (which was easily my favorite) lots of tables to sit at, outdoor heaters for colder days, and wasn't too busy at 2pm on a Saturday. We had The Big Cheese which was amazing, and great customer service! And enjoyed some IPAs from inside the bar. There is an indoor bar you can sit at, TVs, and lots of other seating. It's a nice little spot for an outing or even solo! We will be going back every weekend just to try every food cart! read more

What a little tucked away gem of food trucks. Found front street food trucks by accident online. My sister and I just got back from there. All of the food trucks had mouthwatering options but for us, the Gyros at On The Strip had to be our first sandwich, as we are from Chicago and we love gyros and no one sells them around here.
