This place was great! Tons of seating and food options. The…read moreservice was ok some of the food took a long time to get but it was busy. It may be an old church as it was set up and the windows were all stained glass. I tried the Tonalli Latin cuisine tacos. I got the Barbacoa taco and chicken. The tacos are overfilled almost hard to eat with way too much meat but the flavor was good. I enjoyed the cabbage in the tacos for a nice fresh crunch. The chips and guacamole were good they tasted fresh made. We also got pizza which was very soggy crust and falling apart would not get again. They have a lot of food variety which is nice as there's something for everyone. Would deff be back.

Terrible Service and Food - We ate at the Nave Kitchen and…read moreunfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we asked questions about the menu, the server seemed inconvenienced by even basic inquiries, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. The $14 smash burgers were the biggest letdown. They were so overcooked and thin that the patties had a Swiss‑cheese‑like appearance, with holes throughout and barely any actual meat -- nearly see‑through. Even my husband, who prefers his burgers well‑done, couldn't enjoy them. Had we not had a 2.5‑hour drive ahead, we would have asked for them to be remade or requested a refund. The fries were fine but nothing special; basic frozen shoestring fries. Surprisingly, the best‑tasting item was our son's small shake, which was $8. For that price, I expected a larger portion. I did notice that the to‑go shakes come in bigger cups, so if anyone orders one, I'd recommend getting it to go to actually receive the amount you're paying for. The ambiance initially seemed nice, but the service overshadowed it. Even after tipping before receiving our food, there was no acknowledgment or appreciation, and the interaction felt curt and disengaged. Based on this visit, I wouldn't be able to recommend the restaurant.

I choose Mac salad as a side, delicious! Not overly cheesy and had a nice creamy consistency. The salad was fresh and had some shredded carrots but I didn't much care for the dressing (mayo base?) . Ordering was great at their counter, were given a pager for when it was done. Tried ordering thru the Public House Ordering system with the QR code at the table, but as frequently is the case, that crashed several times and listed Moi Poki Grill as being closed. So, just ordered at the counter and we were good. Servers were extremely nice. We decided to change one of our orders about 10 minutes after ordering, no problem! They changed it without grumbling! They already gave us the heads up it was going to be about 30 minutes wait, and it was, even with changing it. My husband had the orange chicken with rice and salad and enjoyed his as well

While the price of a poke bowl is high here, I was glad to see it was a large size- I couldn't even finish mine. I thought it tasted fresh and I really enjoyed eating it! The only disappointment I experienced was there being a listed ingredient missing from my bowl. I'm sure they would've given it to me if I had gone and asked but I didn't so I won't really hold that against them.

Y E L P : Fork Forty Food Hall Restaurant & Food Review…read more Ventured to Fork Forty Food Hall for lunch yesterday for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. As food halls are all the craze, it was pretty cool to learn that Fork Forty is Salem's first food hall. It is a cozy food hall featuring six of Salem's best eateries in the historic Gray-Building - which I also learned is a building that has a long history of eateries that have occupied its spaces over the years. So, it's only natural that this food hall graced this historic building. What a unique legacy to be a part of. All that Google-worthy factoids aside, I must say, I really loved the industrial feel of the space. Loved the use of blacks and white - which allowed the food vendors signage to really stand out and pop against the darker field colors. Also, the food hall itself wasn't too busy - especially for lunchtime. So, that was great because the wait time for the food was minimal. The food hall was lively, clean and had ample seating. There is a water station with cups for patrons that want water only. There's also a bar within the food hall - so, if you wanted some libations with your eats, that was also an option. All in all, it's a great spot with various cuisines. There's enough to tickle your fancy pending what you have a taste for. Some of the cuisines range from Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine to name a few. I opted for the Mexican vendor, Suzy's Taqueria, and I am so happy I went with them because they did not disappoint. The food was fresh and the price point was great!! Very affordable lunch prices. (**Visit Suzy's Taqueria page to see my review on their street tacos.**) Since this is a food hall, I didn't really interact with the staff as much. My order was placed at a kiosk - which had no wait time. Once my order was placed, the wait for the tacos to prepared was less than 10 minutes. The server brought them out to my table - which was my only interaction with the staff. So, that's about as much as I can speak on that. However, all interactions, though minimal, were very pleasant. For a first visit, I was pleased. I will definitely visit again before my departure from Salem to try out the bao spot or the pizzeria. Also, the history of it, is pretty cool!

I have come here a couple times. But the real reason this place gets a five star review besides the food being so good was the service. If you come here come on a day when Winona is working. Kim's Asian Cuisine is close to me, and I wanted to try them out. I walked in, and was surprised how spacious the location is... there is a large section in front with almost literally nothing in it. As you move further in, there are a few booths and some tables, and a bar in the back... that looks like it might be from the 1950's, lol. There were a few people at the bar.... although I did not see anyone else eating. Did see some takeout orders being picked up. I was seated... and got a beverage quickly. Menu is a mix of different Asian cuisines... no real theme though. I was debating on the Vietnamese Shaking Beef, or the Honey Sweet and Sour Chicken. I decided to go with the chicken. It was good... portion size was adequate, and fried rice was tasty too. I would order it again. In speaking to the proprietor, he suggested the Shaking Beef next time... and I will do that. I asked about his chef/s and he said they were mostly Vietnamese. So I will definitely try the Viet dishes on the menu next time.
