    Breakfast burrito
    Stephanie C.

Came here and got a carnitas super burrito and a ham breakfast burrito. I liked the super burrito - that was really flavorful. The breakfast burrito tasted fine but it didn't have much texture. With the beans and the eggs, it just felt quite mushy. I wouldn't get that again but I'd definitely come back for the super burrito.

4.5 STARS With inflation and prices getting out of pocket, CHEAP EATS is where it's at... TACO TRUCKS! As many times as I've driven by, I had no idea there was a taco truck here at this Chevron (down the block from the H Mart plaza)...well, technically a converted transport van. I was at Main Street Cupertino....craving lengua tacos and Yelp had my back with Frontera Grill (not related to Rick Bayless). Compared to the east side not many legit Mexican eateries on this side of W Man Jose/Cupertino area and I knew I was in the right place when there were only Spanish speaking customers. M E N U * Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas, fajitas, and mariscos (seafood). Birria de res served on Fridays and Saturdays. * Meat choices: Carne asada, carnitas, pollo, tripas, cabeza, al pastor, milanesa, lengua, chorizo, camaron, pescado, and tinga. Hella cheap....tacos are only $2.39 each! Cc's accepted but there's a 2.99% surcharge. F O O D * Tacos de Lengua y Tacos de Tripas (4 tacos - $13 including tax): https://bit.ly/3zxawWe ***Add avocado. ***Tacos are served with grilled onions, jalapeño, radish, and lime. The tripa was my fav of the two...large pieces of tripas (beef tripe) that's nicely chewy with fatty, caramelized crispy edges. The lengua (beef tongue) was beefy and tender but could have been softer. The tacos were served on a double corn tortillas that were soft and pliable but quite wet on the bottom from the juices. The salsa verde was bright and punchy with heat. I should have asked for the orange salsa so next time! S E R V I C E Friendly and prompt. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes with one person ahead of us. A M B I A N C E There's three stools for sitting (no tables), and cement ledges in the shade where you can enjoy your food. P A R K I N G Not sure if you're allowed to park at the several spaces in Chevron. But, we went inside their mini mart to buy some drinks so we could park there. Overall, legit tacos that hits and a great value to boot. Great place to hit up after all the impulse buying at H Mart! 4.5 stars rounded up for value.

    Pastor burrito

I was craving a burrito after running some errands with the wifey. So we (ok maybe I unilaterally) decided to hit up this food truck I've seen around. They had other choices on the menu, but my kind was already set on a burrito. I went with the pastor (marinated pork) and the wifey went with carne asada (beef). A few minutes later, we had the burritos in hand. Also got 3 small containers of various salsa: red, green and a creamy orange. The last was my favorite. We split half-half, so both of us got to try both meats. The pastor was hands down the winner for me. It was soooo flavorful. Didn't really even need the salsa but adding a bit gave it another layer of flavor. I also happened to have some avocados and put a few slices in my burrito, which elevated it to another level if I do say so myself They accept cash or card but cash is a bit cheaper. I'm sure we'll be back again and again.

3 different meats tacos: Lengua (beef tongue) , Tripa ( tripe ) and Camarones (shrimp )

Frontera food truck is located at Deanza and highway exit at 1188 S De Anza Blvd. Probably the best taco truck I've tried so far. What made them stand out for me was the meat options for lengua and tripe. Not the usual menu options you'll normally see at other trucks. You'll have to park at the McDonald's lot and walk over since the truck is situated at a gas station w limited parking. Tacos:4/5 I got 3 different kinds of meat tacos: Lengua , Tripa and Camarones. Lengua was super soft , Tripa was creamy and well seasoned. Im definitely going back to try other menu items . Homemade sauces were amazing..just the right kick to round out the food truck experience. * Support your local food truck business , they are what makes this area unique and fun to discover with friends that are visiting.

    Al pastor super burrito

Been needing a legit burrito fix for awhile. Surprisingly not too many spots in the area. Went to the orthodontist on a Saturday morning and decided to drop by and see if I could scratch that burrito itch. Located in the same lot as a gas station, parking was a little tight but I found a spot in the lot. Street parking was full. There were 4 other guys in line when I got there, but the ordering process was pretty quick. I really came here for the quesabirria, but spent too much time looking at the main menu and no time looking at the specials listed next to the ordering window. Missed the quesabirria which is only available on weekends. Not disappointed with the al pastor super burrito that I did get though. My order didn't take that long, service was good. Got some salsa verde. Prices were reasonable for the bay. My burrito was a good portion and was pretty bomb. Would definitely return and try the quesabirria! And even the al pastor burrito again.

Hands down still my favorite taco truck in Cupertino area! Parked at the Chevron station on De Anza, you can't miss this orange and red truck. My go to is their al pastor super burrito, which is grilled on the plancha. The burrito itself is loaded with al pastor, beans, rice, pico and avocados. Always ask for the green sauce! They take cars with a slight up charge. If you go during lunch, expect a slight wait time as people call in ToGo orders as well. Support this local mexican truck for sure!!!

We all have heard stories of gas station food, but this one is a delight! They propped up right next to the Valero gas station on Mission and Bismark St across the Jefferson High School. I order 2 carne asada tacos and a chorizo quesadilla, and it was only $12! And the portions were much more for the price since I can't finish the quesadilla after the tacos. This is a cash only no-frill taco truck that I am going to have to try out their other menu items. If you want a quick and awesome Mexican street food, I definitely recommend you to try this taco truck.

*CASH DISCOUNT* - They charge an extra 3% for card The food truck is in the Chevron parking lot, next to McDonald's and across from 85 bakery. It's a bright orange truck so it's super hard to miss. I ordered the carnitas burrito, and my experience with it was okay. The flavoring was definitely there - the onions were more raw so it was quite sharp (but also leaves you with bad breadth so be careful!), and the salsa they gave added just the right amount of spice. It was also really filling - I'm someone who normally doesn't finish the whole plate when I eat out, and with this burrito I only managed half of it before getting stuffed! The one qualm I had with the burrito was that I thought the carnitas could have been better. Usually, I imagine carnitas as pretty soft and juicy, but here they were more rough and dry. Flavor of the carnitas was still pretty good, but the texture definitely could have been better.

Best tacos in the area. Super flavorful. Can get real busy during lunch hours but worth the wait.

What can I say about The Anchors Team, Carlos and their amazing gracious care for their guests?…read more Nothing but PURE perfection! Tonight was my first time to the Saratoga location. We live in Downtown San Jose and remember when Anchors opened at San Pedro Square. We so love that place. Great Food and perfect service. Carlos was working there and was always so pleasant and made sure we were always well taken care of. Life gets in the way so we spent less time out at San Pedro so the last few times we went we went to get our favorite seafood we did not see Carlos. A few months ago I was caring for a client's pups and we needed dinner. So my husband Wayne went into Saratoga to go to Anchors to pick up some dinner for us. He gave me the best news that Carlos was at the Saratoga location. I was so excited because I had missed seeing "our friend". He always made us feel some comfortable. Wayne wanted to go to Anchors Saratoga to celebrate his birthday tonight! Who am I to say no? When we walked thru the door I was so happy to see Carlos ! He welcomed us with such a warm smile and was attentive to every detail including welcoming Wayne by his name! We had the most delicious calamari appetizer I have ever had followed by Creamy Lemon Garlic Seafood Pasta - TOTAL PERFECTION!!!!!!! *side note! They have one of the best Happy Hours we have experienced. We knew we were more than just "customers". We were welcomed as "returning friends". Foods arrived promptly and we were surprised to see a many-piece fish dish served. Upon inquiry, the server mistook "Fish & Chips Combo Family Meal" with "Fish & Chips Family Meal". This meant we missed scallops, shrimps, and oysters and got just fish. She explained that what was served was lower in price, that did not impressed us. We ended up ordering another shrimp appetizer and bagged the extra fish. The server did not make any remedial offers. Just "oh well, that's what I wrote, moved on, decide what to do." That's a bit irking. As for the foods, they were pretty good. Seasoning was on the light side, and that's exactly how we liked it. Clam chowder was quite creamy. Tasty too, but you need to like creamy clam chowder first. There were two Louie Salad. Shrimp one was considerably less expensive than crab. Make sure to order the right one. But we're well made and delicious. I won't mind coming back, but probably not out of my way to do so.

My wife and I consistently come to Cap't Loui for our beloved Friday date nights at least once a month. We are ALWAYS so impressed with the yummy food (we always get 2lbs shrimp/2lbs crawfish combo in Medium Cap't Loui sauce with garlic noodles, garlic bread, and Cajun fries). Wifey and I are stuffed after this but will cleanse our palate with complimentary popsicles in the freezer by the entrance. So yes, the seafood boil and food is absolutely phenomenal. But even MORE impressive is the generationally excellent customer service, in particular from Aung and Edward. They are true servant leaders and I noticed they take care of each and every patron as if they were family members or royalty. Between the delicious food and the brilliant customer service, you better bet your bottom dollar that my wife and I will continue having our traditional Friday night dates at Cap't Loui!!!!

4.5 Stars Rating (:…read more Been hearing about Cap't Loui for awhile now, but haven't tried it until now! I usually go to Cajun Bistro for seafood boil, but I find the quality of the seafood there to be inconsistent, which made me want to try a new place. I got the 4lb combo with crawfish (frozen, fresh is $5 extra), shrimp, and clams, including corn, sausages, and potatoes. We also got garlic noodles and a calamari basket with cajun fries. For seafood boil sauce, we opted for the cajun instead of lemon pepper. I wasn't sure if I would finish everything, but it was INHALED. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. The bowl had too much food, so I couldn't dip or soak my seafood in the flavor.
