    This is me stuck at the airport for over 24 hours

    I started my trip from LAX. I was supposed to be going to Detroit Wayne but I ended up in Dallas from Dallas. They sent me to New Orleans and I'm supposed to finish my trip today. I was supposed to be there on June 23 and it is now June 26 and I suppose to be in Detroit at noon tomorrow at noon tomorrow. So damn shame a six hour trip ended up being a three day trip never again what I use Frontier Airlines not against the personnel, but it's against the airline and its operations.

    The chairs are uncomfortable a bit crooked, the trays in front of you are a bit small. I think mine had gum on it, which I think the staff doesn't put any effort into cleaning it. And the whole plane ride was very cold.

    I normally fly Southwest or JetBlue. Looking at flight prices from Orlando to Las Vegas, Frontier Airlines had a great price! My husband and I booked round trip tickets from Las Vegas to Orlando late June. The flight from Orlando to Las Vegas was an early morning flight that left around 8:15 A.M. est with a 10:00 A.M pst arrival in Las Vegas Nevada. We ended up booking business, Frontier's newest offering, with seats in the front [2] rows. Check-in process was a breeze. Boarding was on time, starting 40 minutes prior to departing. We had no delays! We boarded first and sat in the second row. We used the space below the seat for our personal item and the space above in the storage for our carry on. We had one carry on and one personal item. The seats reclined with a button at the bottom of the seat. With Frontier Airlines, you can purchase snacks or drinks. Unlike other carriers like Southwest or JetBlue, they do not provide complimentary snacks. The seats were uncomfortable though! The flight did arrive early by 15 minutes! Overall we were impressed that the flight left on time, and arrived early! I would use Frontier Airlines again as a backup! The Frontier team members on our flight were great!

    Let me paint you a not so hypothetical scenario. The plane lands, it takes 35 minutes to get to the gate and to get off the plane. I get a full meal at Burger King, use the restroom, take the tram back to the baggage claim, get a refill of water and I get to the baggage claim and the CAROUSEL HASNT EVEN STARTED YET. We landed and hour and 10 minutes ago and we have no clue when we'll get our baggage. Frontier is actually so cringe I can't get over it. I will never be flying frontier again. Everything, every, single, thing, is an inconvenience, obstacle, or swindle. Save yourself the sanity and book a more reputable airline. Because this one is struggling (like it always has) and it clearly has no interest in getting better.

I may fly Spirit a few times per year because they offer direct flights to some of my regular destinations at competitive price points. My general experience includes a quick check-in and printing of my luggage tag at the kiosk and smooth luggage drop-off. Sometimes the line is very short and sometimes I have a short wait. I have received polite customer assistance at both the kiosk and the luggage drop-off. Astonishingly, most of my flights have had on-time departures and arrivals. A few times, I've even experienced early arrivals. The long and short of it is that I have had reasonably good experiences and will continue to use Spirit Airlines for as long as that remains to be the case.

She worked quickly and expeditiously to assist them with trying to make the flight. When it was our turn at the counter, she also provided good customer service.     I had the most jank time during my MCO to SFO flight, in this equally jank terminal. I had to be at…read morethe airport at 2:30pm due to returning a rental car and being dropped off at the airport, and my flight was boarding at 7:30pm. Several hours at the airport was already expected and accounted for, but then my Alaska Airlines flight was delayed for no reason and continued to be delayed at every hour interval until we finally left the ground at 11pm. We were never told why it was delayed so much. There is absolutely nothing to do at this airport, or at least in the terminal I was in. They could at least add some random small Disney store or fun bar in the area! There weren't any charging stations or work tables to busy oneself. I just spent the time pacing back and forth the outdated large hallway watching some idle planes, and sat around. On the flight, they didn't even give us more than one snack to compensate! The TSA line was oddly long, too. It wrapped around several times, but it may have been because of recent REAL ID confusion. They seemed to be on the watch for something, because they had some dogs walking back and forth as people crossed a section one by one. At least the security is active here? Checking in a few hours before board time got us a window and adjoining seat near the middle of the plane, behind the wings. For certain T-Mobile plans, you get free wifi on the plane. Entertainment is only offered when you connect to your own device - they removed the seat tablets. There are USB and charging outlets on the seats. I usually prefer flying with Alaska Airlines, but this experience was maddening.

The flight attendants were friendly, checked in often, and made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the flight. The larger seats and quieter cabin made it easy to sit back and enjoy the journey. If you're considering upgrading to first class on American Airlines, especially for an early morning flight, the comfort, service, and included meal make it a worthwhile splurge. Then, it was US Airways flying across the country, again from Phoenix, and I was getting upgraded regularly. Now, it's American Airlines that I frequent, along with past America West Airlines and US Airways patrons. I find that, as with any other airline, customer service is often better than not, but there are always a few hiccups. With American Airlines, you can get someone on the phone, on a chat, on social media, or in person to assist, and with some respect on our part, we can often get what we need. I rarely have luggage issues, though there was one time when my bag was damaged, and American Airlines gave me a replacement while they repaired my original. I regularly fly in and out of the American Airlines gates at Phoenix Sky Harbor and frequent hubs like Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. I even make it out to Orlando on occasion, having visited at least every few years for a conference or an occasional Disney World vacation. Often, my travels require a connecting flight, and my flights are, more often than not, on time and without delays in departure or arrival. With status, an American Airlines credit card, and membership in CLEAR and Global Entry, I do not pay for luggage, receive priority luggage handling, board early, speed through security, sometimes receive upgrades, and access lounges. Traveling has become more of a hobby and a habit, and with American Airlines as my go-to airline, I accumulate miles quickly while also earning status and Loyalty Point rewards. I have two travel premium credit cards: the AAdvantage Executive Mastercard, which offers complimentary Admirals Club access, and the American Express Platinum card, which offers lounge access, travel credits, and complimentary CLEAR and Global Entry memberships. With these two credit cards, I can access the Admiral's Club at Orlando International Airport or The Club at MCO. I may even be able to visit the Plaza Premium Lounge, though I've never checked. Also, through T-Mobile, I received free Wi-Fi on American Airlines flights (though now it is free for anyone with an AAdvantage account). Through my American Airlines AAdvantage status, I get upgrades or free paid snacks and drinks on flights, along with other benefits. To retain status each year, you need to earn Loyalty Point through flying, credit card spending, and promotions. You can also earn Loyalty point rewards after hitting 175,000 points, 250,000 points, and so on. While it is difficult to receive upgrades due to the large number of people at the Executive Platinum status tier, the benefits I do receive are worthwhile. I have also experienced technical issues on flights, but not enough to cause me to abandon American Airlines, especially when every other airline faces the same challenges. All in all, American Airlines is a great company and does as well, if not better than, any of the other major airlines.

Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. After several transfers and repeated explanations, I was eventually redirected back to the original department before finally receiving the information I needed. The aircraft itself looked attractive, and the majority of cabin crew members worked hard throughout the journey. However, cabin cleanliness declined slightly as the flight progressed. A few passengers were loud and inconsiderate, while some lavatories required additional attention after several hours in the air. Although JetBlue provided excellent customer-focused service, convenient route options, and professional cabin crews, the inconsistent customer support, disappointing seat comfort, and minor cleanliness concerns overshadowed some of the positives. Would I fly JetBlue again? Yes, particularly for travel along the West Coast and across North America. All processes such as the check in, boarding, went smoothly! The Orlando JetBlue terminal is really nice! It has to be one of the best airport terminals that I have ever seen. Terminal is spacious, modern, clean, bright and easy to follow. Many seating options available too! The design of this airport terminal made traveling so much nicer than in so many others! The process to rent a car after arrival took approximately 20 minutes though. I arrived at midnight. However, I didn't feel as though the delay was unreasonable considering the time and amount of people who were also renting cars since there was only one team member available at the Alamo car rental service. I had an excellent experience using JetBlue and Orlando International Airport. Great terminal, smooth flight and very easy airport to follow. Great combination to make for a fun experience!

If you have your Magic Band ready when you get off the plane, it's incredibly easy, and you just walk up and scan your Magic Band and they tell you what line to stand in. Line 10 is AKL for both villages and Coronado. A personal gripe of mine; I don't think Deluxe resorts should have to share busses. Before this trip, we'd always stayed at Polynesian and Grand Floridian. They are both Deluxe resorts, and they share with Contemporary, and all of those resorts are right next to each other, so it didn't really bother me. But this time we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stopped at Art of Animation and Pop Century before getting to AKL. I just think the Deluxe resorts are so much more expensive that they could get their own busses. In any case, I landed at the airport at 3:45, was on a bus by 4:15, and on resort at 5:07. I don't think it's worth the cost of an Uber to get there like a half hour faster, but that's up to you. One thing that's great about Disney is that you don't need to worry about transportation at all once you get there, and I really appreciate that. And if you check bags, you don't even need to get those, and they'll deliver them right to your room. I had a very early flight home though, and they picked me up excessively early. I got picked up at 5:30am for an 8:30am flight. I didn't have luggage, but if I did I could have checked it at the resort, so no one needs to be at the airport that early. I sat around for a good 2 hours before my flight. That might have been worth taking an Uber just so I could sleep another hour. It's still a great service though, and I plan to use it again next time. There's really no reason to spend extra on transportation when this is included with your stay.

Then just use the free Disney transportation to get to parks and shopping. Never had a bad experience! Clean and comfortable buses, with professional courteous drivers. Charging ports on the bus along with TV's showcasing Disney info and trivia. They have this down to a science. Be sure to tag your bags correctly, and they will get them for you, and they magically show up at your hotel. The buses run on specific schedules and based on the time of your flight be prepared to leave a bit earlier to the airport. I read this service will end in 2022. Sad, as it's a terrific perk.

Booking everything online with Delta was super easy and our information was transferred to Virgin Atlantic including our points. All we had to do from that point forward was download the Virgin Atlantic app on to our phones to get updated flight information. The only thing that didn't get transferred was his KTN. Navigating their website and app was a bit confusing so the day we flew out, we had to update his KTN with the check-in agent. If you're a government employee, this can be a hassle and set back if you do have precheck. The check-in agent has to manually enter the KTN for you. This was a minor setback that we had for my hubby. But no big deal.. we got to the airport 3 hours prior and got everything squared away in time. Now to the flight... the flight was smooth, no turbulence whatsoever. What was suppose to be an 8 hour flight turned into 7 hours so we ended up getting to London an hour earlier. It was a full flight, probably about 200 passengers on board. The flight attendants were amazing. We were served food and drinks every hour. They provided head phones, blankets and pillows. I couldn't sleep on the plane because I was so excited to be on vacation so I watched 4 movies. Would I fly with Virgin Atlantic again? Absolutely!

Plus, the flight wasn't full, which made for a really comfortable ride. One thing I actually like is their boarding process. It's almost like a virtual queue--check in early, get a better boarding position, and you've got a solid shot at a good seat. Wait too long, and you're probably heading toward the back. Flying solo, it doesn't matter much to me, but with family, that early check-in strategy definitely comes into play. Their rewards program is solid, the staff is consistently friendly and communicative, and they just get you where you need to go without the headaches. Not much to complain about here--Southwest has earned its spot as my preferred airline in the sky. Wheels up!

Pay attention to signage that lists the cities managed by the counter. We easily printed off boarding passes and luggage tags. The line took time to check in our bags so beware and allow buffer time. Employees were friendly and made sure we had what was needed for a smooth check in with security. The gates had plenty of seating and when our flight was ready, the agents called the boarding groups quickly. We also took advantage of checking in our carry ons for free.
