Almost a year in and several visits later we have tried everything on the menu except the cakes (I'm not a dessert person ) I love crab cakes, but I honestly can't remember the last time I ordered one in VA because it's always been a disappointment. Their original spot in Manassas was forever on my list to visit, but it was just never on the way. SO happy this is open close to home! No doubt, the best crab cakes I've had in Virginia. Besides the crab cakes, we also liked the shrimp. The fish and the wings were just fine, but nothing exceptionally special in our opinion. Don't skip out on the hush puppies! Our first visit last summer we came at 5pm and thought we'd be fine getting a table for 3- it was the very last one. I guess depending on the day and time it can get packed!! They're clearly the highlight. That said, everything else we ordered was just okay and didn't really stand out. The shrimp were awful and for $15 it was a complete letdown. The music was a bit loud but not obnoxiously loud and a nice playlist, they also state clearly on their window that the music is intended to be loud. I'm going to start with, WE LOVE FRYES!!! their crab cakes, hush puppies, shrimp and crab salad are top tier. however, today I paid $10 for clam strips and got what looked like a leftover handful tossed in the box. I've had kids meals with more food than this. The quality was mediocre at best, but the portion size was the real joke. Seafood prices are high, so I understand, but this felt straight up insulting. Definitely not worth the money. The fried foods that came in the Ultimate Feast were overdone and underwhelming, due to it being overly salty. It may be the location, because I have never had issues at their Manassas location; everything amazing there! The pictures attached show the 12 clam strips for $10. a shame because we live around the corner and I no longer trust this location, nor do I want to travel to Manassas from Ashburn every time. I didn't even wanna complain about the cold fries even though I paid almost $60 for a meal. My suggestion during a Friday dinner rush to have more staff.
