Do not waste your time and money here. You will wait a ridiculous long time. Average of 2 hours. There's all sorts of gimmicks and junk to get you to spend your money on while you wait. The place is dirty. The writing all over the walls aside, it's actually dirty. Paper and cups everywhere. The bathrooms are dirty. Our table was dirty. The seats were dirty. That's all real. Other than a burger the food is terrible. Nothing is cooked or seasoned well. Nothing worth the price. We had a lot of high hopes. We went down to the arcade and kept the kids busy, we received a text, and a call so service started out really well. My wife and I both had a margarita and they were pretty decent... then it started to go south. We waited almost an hour for our food. They were ridiculously busy so, okay no big deal. The waiter had been very accommodating but, when I asked him to check his demeanor completely changed. Food came out my son's chicken tenders smelled and tasted 3 day old fish. My actual fried Mahi sandwich (looked great) tasted like a dried out over cooked salmon patty, and my wife's burger I'm pretty sure was frozen. I sent my sandwich back and our service was pretty much over after that because the waiter pretty much wanted nothing to do with us after that. The menu looks great! I came here once several years ago on a girls trip with no kids, but knew I had to bring mine someday. That day finally came yesterday when we were back in the area. After standing in line to get on the waiting list, we were told our table would be ready in 30 minutes. So I led my family on an adventure to explore everything else that this place offers - alligator areas, the statue area (looks like the reptile area of the zoo, but the animals aren't real) and then to the room to take a photo holding a baby alligator. We were walking into the photo room when I got the text that our table was ready. They snapped the photo, petted the gator and we quickly washed our hands and ran to claim our table. We got our drinks and food very fast, considering how busy it was. Everything, and I mean EVERYthing, was mouth-watering delicious. The kids had a blast and so did my husband and I. With full bellies, we took a loop through the gift shop where my son & husband did the hot sauce chip challenge. We were halfway back to our campsite when I realized that we didn't explore the arcade or have time for the kids to play on the playground areas. I loved everything about this restaurant! Well, okay, not the wait. That was terrible. But everything else was amazing. I loved that the place is like a giant labyrinth, which was painted every color of the rainbow. Strewn about the maze of a restaurant were alligator exhibits, indoor and outdoor bars (I didn't catch the bartender's name, but she had a gorgeous sleeve tattoo and she was OUTSTANDING), a stage where there was singing and dancing, and for some reason there were hula hoops. It was the most wondrous assortment of hodgepodge, and felt like it had been designed by a squirrel with ADHD on meth. So all that made the wait a lot more bearable. When we were finally seated, the most wonderful waitress quickly brought us our drinks and food, with a huge smile. She must have been exhausted working in such a busy and hectic place, but you wouldn't know it. She was energetic and friendly and made our meal a real pleasure. And the food was fantastic! The portions were enormous and the food was tasty. This is one of those places that becomes a central part of a vacation--someplace you look forward to going when you're in town. When going to a place like this you just have to be prepared for a long wait. We had a table of 11 and it was very long, but on the upside lots to do for kids, including an arcade next-door. the alligator show is great for the young ones, and once we were seated our waitress was incredibly diligent and nice. The food is what you would expect from a place like this, not gourmet, but not bad at all. They even have a gluten-free and vegan menu for those with dietary issues. They have plenty of attractions there to keep you busy during the 45-minute wait. Good selection of food. Pricey but it's a tourist attraction so you can expect prices to be on the higher side. Only commenting on the gator show, as we did not choose to eat here. The have 150ish gators and a free show 3 times a day. Easy parking. You can also buy gator food for $5 to feed them yourself, or take a picture with a baby gator (mouth taped shut) for $15. They also have some exhibits that are cool. All in all, a good 30 min diversion. You can even make it free if you don't feed the gator or take the picture. I would say of the paid options, the picture is more worth it, since you get to touch the gator and get a souvenir. The feed they sell you is dry kibble, and the gators aren't overly interested versus the chicken they feed them at the show- I would recommend just watching the feeding and then getting the picture if you're so inclined. That being said, if you have young kids, they did enjoy trying to feed the gators with the provided pole. read more

Came up to Fort Walton/Destin for a family trip and after a day at the beach the five of us (me, the wife, sister, and two boys) wanted a meal for that after swimming hunger. We had seen Fudpuckers on Tik Tok and were immediately intrigued. Driving up with a giant gator to greet us. We stepped inside to this colorful bright multi-story building with writing all over the walls. The greeting hostess took our name. Wait was gonna be about an hour but it was dinner time so we decided to stick it out. During our wait the adults enjoyed bucket beverages and we all explored the park. There was a hidden arcade as well as information about gators. This restaurant boasts of also being the "Worlds Greatest Alligator Park" and they had a photo scavenger hunt for the kids (and adults) to kill some time. The boys had fun looking for the items and were able to see live gators up close while looking for all the photo spots. After successfully locating all the items the boys spun the wheel for a nice prize. That hour wait flew by helping us to avoid those dreadful words "how much longer" from your kids :). Next we made our way up our seats and Justin was our waiter and was so friendly while taking our order and kept checking up on us. Food tasted great and there was a great selection of unique food you're not going to find at the usual family spots. We picked up a few things on their gift shop and left happy. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience and we'll worth the wait. read more

We usually end up here and I'm not sure why. This place is so touristy and feels exceptionally dirty with the writing all over the walls and pretty much everything else. The outside bars are never open and the place just feels like a huge tourist trap. The alligator feeding is ok I guess, but they've got so many of them packed in there they look miserable. The food is just ok, I don't think the price justifies it. Our server was very spot on and recommended a lot of things for us that was pretty tasty.
