First time checking out this place- here's our take aways. Friendliness and Service = 10++ (thank you, Keary + team)! Food and drinks = 9 just cuz I don't like drinks that are too sweet Cleanliness = 10 Price = $ Bathroom = clean! Definitely worth coming back to!

Great customer service and good food. The tacos and burritos were good! I like the flavor of the salsas available. They do a lot of to go orders. They also have yummy desserts available! The restaurant is clean with a calm atmosphere. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu

Pre ordered delivery for a Sunday morning and it was all delivered right on time. Tried the Birria and the Menudo. Birria was the better tasting and better value. Because you get a lot of tasty beef. Consume is flavorful. The menudo well it's good as well just was not as plentiful as the birria. We had also ordered the guacamole sauce and it is perfection. It was delivery so can't say anything about the dine in experience. Certainly will make Fuego Cravings in to our rotation.

Fuego is absolutely the best!! We go here pretty regularly. It doesn't get tooo busy inside the restaurant but there's some outside seating too. They have an app too and I recommend for points and discounts. The employees are also super helpful and friendly.

My husband and I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. We stopped by recently for lunch, and were so glad we did! We both ordered the Quesabirria Special and Jarritos sodas. The Quesabirria Special comes with consommé (broth from the birria meat to dip the tacos in) and a side of chips, beans, and rice. We were also given red and green salsa (both were tasty) on the side. Both of us thought the food was very delicious, flavorful, and filling. The Jarritos were the perfect addition to our meals. We were also given a free sample of arroz con leche for dessert, which was tasty and much appreciated! The staff here were very friendly, attentive, and polite. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and felt at ease while dining. The interior of the restaurant was clean, had a relaxing atmosphere, and a good amount of places to sit. They had music playing at a comfortable listening level in the background as well. Overall it was a great experience, and we definitely want to come back soon!

This place is incredible! I can't say enough how much I enjoyed the amazing food, incredible service (so friendly and helpful) and the clean, welcoming atmosphere. Best horchata I've ever had, the churro bites with the sweetened condensed milk was so yummy, the fries were crisp and hot, the nachos were delicious with perfect carne asada and the taquitos de papas were so good. Also the esquite was super good. Highly recommend recommend!

Pulled up to Fuego Cravings' newer Whittier, CA location for Taco Tuesday and those $1.99 tacos were worth it! They've got multiple SoCal locations, an extensive Mexican food menu, and daily deals you can take advantage of all week long. What we ordered: Surf and Turf fries $16.99 Whittier Burrito $14.99 Quesabirria Special $14.99 Birria street taco $1.99

I tried this spot recently and it was a great experience: Service was quick, food came out fresh, and the portions felt generous for the price. Quesabirria SpecialThe Quesabirria was delicious, especially with the delicious consume. The tortillas were crisp, the cheese had a good pull, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. The consomé had rich flavor and tied everything together. It also came with beans, rice, and chips. Whittier BurritoThe burrito was big, packed evenly, and did not fall apart. Each bite was delicious and incredibly flavorful. Good balance of salt and spice. Easy to split between two people if you are also ordering sides. Hot Cheeto FriesThese were a fun item if you like heavier food. Fries stayed fairly crisp under the toppings. The Hot Cheetos added heat and crunch without overpowering the sauce and cheese. Best to share, since it is very filling. Churro BitesGreat way to end the meal. The churro bites were warm, with a nice crunch outside and a sweet cream filling on the inside. The dipping sauce was a sweet condensed milk and paired perfectly with the churros! Overall a wonderful experience and I would love to come back to try new menu items.

First time trying this place, it was really good. I ordered for pick up had the chicken potato taquitos and Asada shrimp burrito. They do put the shrimp hole, not chopped in the burrito. My husband had the birria burrito and said it was juicy not like some other places where the meat is dry. I do feel like the chicken and potato taquitos could've been a little bit better. Maybe it was the tortilla I don't know. But I do like that they're a Jesus Christ based establishment. I noticed on the receipt it said God bless you and your family with a scripture.

First time here! First off the lady in the front is absolutely so sweet Christina. Loved her!! She's the best customer service in so long!! Second it's super clean in here and they have tv!! Third LA COMIDA!! QUE RICAN!!! THE FOOOD IS GOOD and affordable!! We got a pizza birria for $30, and it's huge!!! With consomé! Definitely coming back!

We came here last week for the first time ever and we were impressed with the service, the flavor and the quality of food! It's your typical hole in the wall spot but with so much more ! We loved it so much the first time that we had to come back today with our kids. (They are the real judges) Happy to say they loved it as much! Today Christina was the cashier and gave us Great service ! And as the cherry on top ...they have board games available while you wait for food! Overall a DEFINITELY 5 star experience And absolutely recommend

Nayeli is a standout employee! Kudos to the owner for having her be the front facing staff because she is very friendly!! Really helpful with her recommendations for food and drinks. We had the munchies and the food here didn't disappoint. We got the surf & turf fries & a few tacos. The agua frescas were tasty. Not too much sugar which was great because they were easy to drink.

A weekend brunch with friends brought me to Madre's Whittier, where the menu offered plenty of tempting options--and a few unexpected lessons about ordering seafood. I tried the Ensenada Omelet, loaded with shrimp, salmon, crab, and octopus. Now, I'm a seafood lover, but octopus and I aren't exactly close friends. I asked if it could be removed, but since the seafood mix is pre-made, the octopus had already RSVP'd to the party. The omelet was good, topped with a creamy sauce, but not something I'd order again. The crab appeared to be imitation crab, and while everything was prepared well, it just wasn't a standout for me. The real star? The strawberry pancakes. Delicious! Next time, I'd order those with a side of eggs and call it a win. I also sampled the chilaquiles, and now that's a dish I'd come back for. The Tiramisu Latte was another favorite--not overly sweet and packed with that classic tiramisu flavor I love. A special shoutout to our waitress, Annie, who was attentive, friendly, and made our brunch experience even better. My Verdict: Skip the Ensenada Omelet and build your brunch around the stars of the menu instead. The strawberry pancakes are the must-order item, the chilaquiles are a strong savory choice, and the Tiramisu Latte ties everything together. If you order wisely, Madre's delivers a brunch worth coming back for.

There is more outdoor seating on the covered patio than indoor seating. Both seating areas are nice. The lady who seated us was very friendly and pretty attentive and especially considering she wad handling a lot of other tables. Both the house eggs Benedict and house French toast were good. Was expecting crispy bacon on the benny considering the description, but the only difference from classic seemed to be the avocado. The benny egg and muffin were both collected well, especially the eggs they did a great job on those. Wife didn't like the flavor of the hollandaise sauce, but thought it was fine. She liked the French toast much better. You did not need syrup as the butter cream and chocolate sauce were plenty sweet on their own. Half serving is probably ok for one person, full was nice to share. The bathroom was clean, large, and single person--great for a pit stop before you head out! The mason jar waters were cool. There were NO customers as we entered the restaurant, perhaps we came in rather late, an hour before closing. Nonetheless, considering there's no one inside the place, the service was aloof, distant and not attentive. As staff were going home, the two waitresses did not check on us for refill of coffee and water. When we paid the bill and generously tipped, we said, "bye!", the waitress was seating with her phone glued to her face. The food was decent. I ordered the "House full French Toast", and it is loaded with sliced strawberries and bananas, and drowned in chocolate drizzles. The brioche toasts were a tad dried and spongy but well coated with eggs. Delicious still. My other half ordered a Spanish omelette; it was good. We both got a little queasy in the tummy afterward. The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
