We made reservations for 6 to celebrate my friend's birthday last week! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We all love coming here for the show, the cooks are fantastic and funny.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My new favorite is the lobster and scallops, everyone at our table for the most part got lobster and we all enjoyed it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once more people came in and the shows were going on so I was a little harder to hear.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Fuji Grill is interactive dinner theater for adventurous extroverts. If swilling a stream of saki from the chef's squirt bottle appeals to you, then this place is for you. You will be continually prodded by the very talented and engaging chef to hold your mouth open like a trained circus seal so he can sling bits of food at you. Just know that he doesn't always hit his target, and two ladies at our table were left shaking broccoli bits from their bras. I didn't understand his instructions as he dangled a noodle in front of my husband and me but finally I deciphered that he was saying "Lady And The Tramp". Not going there, not today! The old adage about being hungry an hour after eating Japanese food applies here. I opted not to eat 6 cups of fried rice with my 4 oz of steak and scallops, so that was totally my fault. While I found my steak and scallop bits to be tasty, I don't think I'll be back. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

We ordered delivery on the first night of our cross-country trip while staying at a hotel in Hamburg. We were exhausted from the drive and completion of packing that morning. Without a lot of options we picked Fuji Grill because of its high rating. 10/10 would recommend for delivery! I can't speak to their dining experience, but their food was AMAZING. We got the chicken teppanyaki meal, which comes with a choice of rice (I got fried/my husband got brown), a side of veggies, 2 shrimp, and a side of miso soup and a salad. It was so much food for such a great price and came packaged perfectly and was still steaming hot. An absolute must-try if you need a quick, warm, delicious delivery!

This review includes direct quotes from my 12 and 7yo kids. They love the hibachi experience! "The soup is the best part." my son said. It's a simple clear broth with sliced mushrooms and chopped scallions. It's a cup that comes as part of the hibachi meals we ordered along with a cup of salad. 2 of us got the steak and shrimp combo with noodles. My 7yo ordered the adult sized shrimp dinner with noodles. I have little ones with big appetites!! "I would like the adult portion shrimp hibachi." Is how my 7yo ordered her meal. :) Our chef was entertaining and my kiddos joined in on all his antics. The food was very good. I've always enjoyed the mixed vegetables they prepare. All in all it was a great time with good food.

The food is consistently delicious, the service is always friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience is great because you get two options! hibachi which is loud and fun, or being served at a quieter table that is partitioned and more private.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would recommend!

Always so good! We got the tuna tartare and the egg on top was perfect! However it is very spicy and we didn't know it was spicy tuna when we ordered it. I love getting the assorted nigiri, rainbow roll and white tuna roll. Always fresh, delicious and flavorful. Will keep going back again and again!

We LOVE Fuji Grill II! They are so welcoming and the food is always delicious. We have gotten sushi that we've loved. We've also gotten hibachi that we've loved. We always start with the onion soup. Some people call this mushroom soup or clear soup but at Fugi, it's onion soup and it's sooooo good. It is pretty much this flavorful broth with just a few super thin mushroom slices and some crunchy onions. It's the perfect way to start and evening of Asian food. We have tried some of the special rolls and they have all been winners. My favorite is the dinosaur egg! It's not in the menu and may just be a special, but maybe just ask for it.. my husbands favorite is the angry bird roll which is actually a hot roll. It's very good. It's been a long time since we've done the grill side hibachi, but it was fun when we did do it.

We stopped in for lunch and are so happy with our experience. I got a bento box - it came with SO much food. Everything was delicious, and our waitress could not have been more attentive. For my lunch bento box and a peach tea, my total was $16. Amazing prices, great food, fun atmosphere, and super friendly wait staff. I could have wanted nothing more!!

My friend took me here for some sushi. I've been here few times actually. For sushi and hibachi. They have some unique sushi selections. I opt for dancing dream roll. It's a spicy scallops and crunch with yellowtail, salmon and tobiko. My friend opt for spicy tuna. They are very good, though to me they are not spicy at all. We are also order gyoza and shumai. I love the gyoza. I didn't do the shumai because it has shrimp and I'm sensitive to shrimp. Lastly we ordered mochi green tea ice cream. I really love mochi ice cream. I like gooey mochi and combine with ice cream inside it's just simply the best. Though the food is good and all, my favorite sushi place is still Ichiban. I can't wait until they are open again for dining.

The ingredients always taste and feel very fresh, the proportion of rice to fish is always perfect and it's very easy to eat with chopsticks and doesn't fall apart. This is always my first choice any time I'm in the mood for sushi, the top quality has proven to be very consistent! I would say the Hamachi Nigri and Romantic Roll are probably my favorites, but I really enjoy exploring their menu too since everything is so good. My husband loves the Sweet Potato Roll best (: The service is always great. We are a little more on the shy and quiet side but every time we go, the people there are super kind, friendly, attentive and always have a greeting and a goodbye. It really makes you feel valued. We made sure to order a lot of takeout here during the pandemic, because I don't know what I would do if we ever lost this place.

Ichiban was on my list to visit for a long time. We decided to check out their Titanic boat and…read morecompare it to those we've had at other places. On Sunday around seven, the restaurant was practically empty. Sushi boats typically contain sashimi, nigiri, and at least two special rolls selected by the chef. The Titanic at Ichiban comes with a Christmas Roll (spicy crunchy tuna, avocado, red tobiko) and a Honado Roll (tempura fried roll with spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese). We asked whether it's possible to have a roll without cream cheese. It turned out we couldn't substitute the Honado Roll. So, we asked just to omit the cream cheese. A while later, our server came back with a proposal: for an extra charge, we could choose any other roll we wanted. By that time, we decided to have the original version of the Honado Roll with cream cheese. So, there was a bit of a hitch right at the start. With the Titanic boat, you choose between a miso soup or a salad. The soup was too salty but generally tasty. Now, very briefly about the sushi itself. We enjoyed almost everything. The Christmas Roll was very good. The salmon was superb. The fried Honado Roll came without the cream cheese, and I thought it was the least tasty sushi roll I have ever had. The shrimp nigiri were definitely a disappointment as well. Our server was pleasant and tried to be helpful from the beginning. Later, strangely, she came over to our table right in the middle of our conversation, while we were still enjoying our meal, and asked if we needed a container for leftovers. Leftovers?! I immediately thought the restaurant was about to close and that we had overstayed our welcome, but that wasn't the case. She brought us the bill right after that, even though we hadn't asked for it yet. So, for some reason, she simply tried to speed up our exit. I'm sure Ichiban serves very good food (we saw takeouts being prepared), but I won't be going back soon, definitely not for a Titanic. One more thing, and it's definitely a downer. We received twelve pieces of nigiri instead of fourteen. I only noticed it later, while looking through the photos.

Hard working people working in this restaurant as we could see as we peaked in the kitchen on our way out the door. Small place with huge menu. Decisions, decisions on just what to order. And it was the good kind of california rolls...not the fake crab stick...the salad style (see my pic). The decor is quirky and kind of a no frills type place. Because we needed a lot, and definitely had left overs, we went with the love boat for 2 all variety of fish for $69.00, as well as two tuna handrolls. I love their tuna handrolls. They are scrumptious. Teton is great for gluten free people and they modify to make sure everything is good to go. There was so much food. The sushi and the rolls were great and fresh. I ordered what I thought could have been an obscene amount of food only to receive extremely tiny portions. I ordered tako-su and a special of the same sort made of jelly fish which I had never had and was exited to try. I believe I also ordered a simple tuna roll thankfully or I may have starved like my friends. My friends both ordered the seafood tempura thinking this would be the size of a meal or at least include rice. Everything I ordered was about 3-4 bites of food, the sushi was 6 very tiny pieces. The sushi was good and if I ever went back I'd order more. The jelly fish was crunchy and interesting and I ordered it for the experience so I enjoyed it. I love octopus but this was the toughest most horribly overcooked octopus I've ever had. I forced some of it down but had to spit out two pieces of it because they were completely inedible octopus flavored rubber. My friends were extremely disappointed in their "meals" that consisted of a single tempura shrimp, a single tempura squid and a single tempura scallop. They left hangry. The drinks were good and seemingly normal portions. I don't know what the draw of this place is but I'd be willing to try it again to see if I just experienced an off day and a lack of appropriate expectations regarding price vs portions.

Also, they have a big cage that people can sit in only one though, and I wanted to sit in there, but it was already occupied by a family. The decorations are cute, but they don't have very many at least not on the side that we sat. We sat to the right when you walk in the door. The menus look like you're opening up a humongous encyclopedia or an almanac but there aren't that many pages in there so don't let it fool you. They have lots of different types of sushi, Japanese food, Chinese food, etc. My son got a salmon roll and a caterpillar which he said was amazing. I got General Tzo's chicken , which was much better than any Chinese place I've ever had it from. This was the real deal. But first I had pork eggroll and it was so good. They served it cut in half with duck sauce all over it and it was so good that way I loved it. Then I ordered a nice size bowl of pork lo mein. That was the best lo mein I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely delicious. My son tried some the next day and said that that was the best lo mein he's ever had. The employees were nice. Took a while for our food to come, but that was OK. We weren't in a rush. I ordered a Diet Coke and it seems that all Japanese and Chinese places that I go to lately they only give you cans of pop which seems weird to me, but whatever ! And this seems like a higher end type restaurant too. It's not a cheap little restaurant. This is a pretty pricey place, but like I said, it is delicious. I highly recommend going there and eating. Hopefully, you'll be as satisfied as my son and I were.
