Friendly staff, large portions, reasonable price and tender, juicy, charcoal flavor teriyaki chicken highlight this casual restaurant. We tried 4 different special : chicken teriyaki plus choice of another main dish - we chose General Tsao chicken, orange chicken, beef broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. We all shared and agreed that the General Tsao chicken was the best side. Others were good quality but a bit sweet or just not the best flavor. Specials were $9.99 and included rice, egg drop soup, and a small orange slice. Gyoza was read-only crispy with good seasoned meat filling. Alright so... I come here a lot. Like maybe twice a week at points. I went to order a beef bowl. She asked if I wanted curry or teriyaki beef. I asked her if the curry is good and she said yeah... So I purchased the curry for an up-charge she didn't tell me about (They do this often). I get said curry about 5 min later... Let's just say it is not good.. To my tastes. So I take it up to just let them know and see if they can offer anything (I was not rude to her). The cook came up pissed and chucked the whole thing in the garbage, bowl and all. They gave me a teriyaki chicken bowl but the way the man acted was completely childish. Maybe it's a cultural thing? But I really wasn't trying to be rude. Overall good food though, I will continue coming. Moral of the story: only order stuff you know is good. Just in case, cause the cook is pissy. read more

There are really only two kinds of Teriyaki: Good and Terrible. Since it is hard to screw Teriyaki up, most fall under the Good category. Fuji Teriyaki is Good. I ordered the beef teriyaki. There was a lot of meat over steamed rice. The meat wa not drowning in sauce, which I think is a good thing. Additional sauce is provided if you like you beef swimming. The meal also comes with a teeny tiny salad, like most teriyaki restaurants provide. Fuji Teriaki is not going to blow your mind. While in town for a training, I came here twice for lunch because it was quick, inexpensive but very good food and quick service! Chicken teriyaki and gyoza were very good. They even give your egg flower soup as a part of your meal if you're dining in. I would recommend it for quick lunches or casual, take your time kind of lunches too. As far as basic Teriyaki goes, I am never disappointed. Let's be clear. Centralia's array of Teriyaki is pretty much null. This restaurant helps fill that void and I definitely recommend it if you are just looking for Teriyaki at a decent price. Their portions are hearty and I often find myself with plenty of left overs for the next day. Their service is speedy and they are always nice. Bland. Absolutely zero flavor. I'm convinced they didn't put any seasoning on my food. I ordered Kung pao chicken and an egg roll. The egg roll was obviously a pretty frozen one they heated up and the Kung pao chicken was not edible. I even gave some to my grandma and she said it was bad. Very good food and friendly service. I had the chicken teriyaki and my husband had beef teriyaki, plus we split an order of Gyoza. The meat was tender and the teriyaki sauce was good. The Gyoza was one of the best I've had in quite a while. It came with sticky rice, vegetables, and a cup of soup. The soup had lots of flavor with fresh peas and carrots.
