I've been here before with a friend. I wanted to come back to bring another friend to try it out. My reservation was set to 1pm. I was running 5-10 minutes behind and meant to modify my reservation but before I could think to do that, when I got there the hostess said they cancelled my reservation. Then he told me they don't let people in after 1pm. They close at 2pm. So, he said he could seat me, but there is not that much food yet. At this point sir, there are very many restaurants that will take my money and wouldn't care if it's 1 hour before they close. This place use to be a Green Vegetarian spot. Now it's Full Goods. With the way they handle customers and turning them away, the bougie Pearl restaurant will be something else before I ever come back. Yall will close down before I step foot back on the property. Tryst restaurant gladly got my money. These businesses need to be careful before you can be here one minute, then gone the next day. Be careful how you treat customers. read more

Love this place! This modern breakfast spot has incredible service, beautiful dining area and full bar. Located in a nice courtyard area great for grabbing a bite alone, with friends or going on a brunch date. Restaurant had small tables as well as tables for larger groups and families. The food was delicious. We ordered the smoked salmon Benny, breakfast enchiladas, churro French toast, chai latte and coffee. The food came out fast and tasted amazing. This place has a lot of potential but since they haven't even been open a month, they are still working out the kinks. Takes a while to get your drink order and an hour to get your food. The pancake was fantastic! It was like a cake and perfectly done and thick. My friend and I wanted to order some pastries to start but they were out of nearly everything...bummer. The outside patio is lovely with fans to help when it gets warm and you can bring your well-behaved dog. I was really looking forward to coming here after hearing wonderful things about the food. And the food that came out was excellent. Unfortunately less than attentive service really took away from the experience. After a mix up with my original order, it took over 25 minutes for the correct item to come out. This was not the fault of the kitchen as it was clear that the item had sat for quite some time before it came out. The explanation we received was that no table number was attached to the item. By this time everyone else at my table had finished their meal and the other pieces of my breakfast had long gone cold. I would not be writing this review had there not been such an extended wait for what should have been a simple correction. We were given a discount on the item, but honestly I just wanted to leave by that point. It was really a disappointing experience and I hope procedures can be put in place so others do not feel as forgotten as we did. read more

I ordered biscuits with sausage gravy. This place is supposed to be known for their biscuits. I found the biscuit to be hard and cold. The gravy was very thin with tiny crumbs of sausage. Great new spot at the Pearl. We stopped by on a Monday and there was no wait. But I've seen reviews that weekend wait times are very long. The staff was nice and attentive. The food was delicious! I like the atmosphere at the restaurant the only thing that was a turn off was customers having pets. I get it when they are service animals but they usually have a vest indicating so. We were eating next to a man that has his huge dog and the dog passed gas and it made the entire place stink. He immediately left but it was too late. But the only choices to sweeten are sugar and stevia (BYOS - bring your own Splenda). The bread and potatoes, it's not like I mean many carbs that I don't like, but this was special. The bread was so buttery and delicious. I loved it. The potatoes tasted like they had taco seasoning on them, which lets ask ourselves..what OTHER foods should have taco seasoning on them? Cause I'm hear to tell you these potatoes DID NOT MISS HONEY! The sausage was good. I'm not a big fan of maple sausage, but that is the best maple sausage I've ever had. Just FYI, the wait on a Sunday is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We ended walking through the market and had drinks at hotel Emma to pass the time. We were seated outside and although they had fans rotating above, it did nothing for the burning sun on my back. The food was a bit slow, just because there were so many people. But once we got our food, it was pretty good. The cheesy hash brown was my favorite. The pancake was small for the price, but it has a nice crisp on the edges and the inside was fluffy and thick. The sausage was meh. Nothing good or bad to say about it. Friends really enjoyed the trout shareable items. Dog friendly. Staff were nice. The little Rice Krispies treats they hand out at the end of service was really yummy. The lavender lemonade was not good. I found a HAIR in my 20 dollar salad. Gross, gross, gross!!! And when I tried to contact the restaurant to ask them to rectify the error, they never responded. This was a takeaway order but as you can see in the photos, the hair is deeply embedded in the food. I've also noticed that there seems to be a lot of new faces working there - I wonder why so much turnaround. The new faces are not as friendly as the old ones- like how they make me feel like I'm interrupting their morning so I can give them a ridiculous 8 dollars for a cup of Joe (only 2 tables seated at that time) at the to go counter. There's too much good to say about this place. An eclectic menu of great options. Everything from coffee and juice to light sparking wines and smooth red blends. The vibe is the restaurant made it the perfect location for connecting with a friend and spending HOURS catching up over a delicious meal. Which is exactly what my cousin and I did while we put our name down to wait for a table. They have a separate window for drinks to-go, we got an espresso martini and a mimosa and walked around. It was a nice day and I saw they have a spacious covered patio as well as a cute and clean interior. I think the hostess quoted us a 30 minute wait, but it was only about maybe 15!
