If she hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have even noticed. Please, don't use this review to extort a pizza to a magazine quality presentation. Decent food. Terrible service. I called an order in. After being on hold for more than five minutes I was able to place my order. I chalked that up to a busy restaurant. When I arrived to pick up the pizza and salad the place was mostly empty. There were three people behind the counter, one working and two standing with hands in pockets. It was a bit of a joke watching the one guy make and cook the food, take orders and manage the register. All while the other two stood around and watched. The employees are rude and completely uncaring. The pizza is very poor quality, and it starts with a poorly developed crust. We ordered four small pizzas from Fultano's for our family of four during our stay at Cannon Beach recently, and were very happy with all of the pizzas. We order pizza about once per week, and tend to be particular about our pizzas. The pizzas from Fultano's were some of the best we've had. Amy and I shared / split two of their specialty pizzas: goat cheese (with mushrooms, roasted onions, roasted garlic and a 3-cheese sauce) and blue moon (mushrooms, roasted onions, roasted red peppers, green peppers, black olives, fresh basil and crumbled gorgonzola). Both were delicious. Meg had a pepperoni pizza, which she liked, and Evan had a build-your-own green pepper, red onion, bacon and pineapple pizza that he said was the best pizza he ever had anywhere. One of their delivery vehicles is an electric car from Electric Wheels in Salem, OR. The dining room is so hot that I needed to wait outside. A bottle of pesi was 3.25. The lady with glasses at cashier was very unfriendly. Never greeted, never said thank you and never smiled. Asked my name and I gave to her and she said "what's your first name" The actual pizza was ok. They put a lot of olives on it, not much cheese and sauce. Has been a family staple for at least a decade merely because it's a great kid-friendly option when going to the beach. While the food was once edible, the pizza has gone downhill so dramatically I will never NEVER be back. We went yesterday and ordered 2 pizzas. Our first warning was it was ready in less than 10 minutes. They literally pull out pre-made, mass-produced "dough", slap on sauce and toppings and flash cook them. They cooked it so fast the awful - cardboard texture dough doesn't have a chance to rise at all like real pizza should. What results is pizza that is the texture of pita dough covered in cornmeal which I'm guessing is there only to hide the dough. SAVE YOUR MONEY, walk across the street and go to Pizza Feta. I'm writing this as an almost lifetime fan of Fultano's. I'm not sure if it's new management or what - but the $1 Totino's pizza you get in the freezer section is 100% better than this place. When the busser eventually came out, he emptied the previous customers cups all over the outdoor furniture, quite aggressively might I add. Had pizza from this location on 14 and 15th of July. Pizza was acceptable on the 14th, but below the quality level expected. We returned on the 15th, ordered two pies and a chicken Caesar. Waited 30 minutes only to get one pie and Caesar without chicken, 40 minutes later received the second pizza, which was missing ingredients and was not fully cooked. They just want to close for the night. Regarding the plumbing in the kitchen, the sink drains into a five gallon bucket under the sink, which is taken outside and dumped into the street. We are in town camping at the Cannon Beach RV park and visiting some locals we know. They recommend this place for pizza and we gave it a try. Ordered two larges, the Hatstack and the The Fireman w/ pineapple. The crust was thinner with cornmeal and was great! Toppings were good and they even delivered up to the RV office where we met the driver. Great job. I'd consider this a little spendy but typical of towns like this nowday. I dont know where that pizza went, or what she did with it. But oregon law says a food product that may have been contaminated by consumers has to be discarded. The Magherita pizza smelled amazing when it came out and had fresh basil and tons of tomatoes and super thin sliced red onions. It was hands down the best magherita pizza I've had.
