I loved coming here. This brought me back to my childhood and how simple and delicious pizza used to be. The cornmeal cracker crust and the flavorful toppings was such a welcomed thing to share with my kids. We were fortunate enough to be able to sit outside and pizza didn't take more than 15 minutes. Staff was great. It was a perfect day.

Super friendly, pretty fast. Their crust is perfect to me! Crispy, not floppy. Their Chicken Caesar salad was loaded with chicken! Great stop in!

Definitely an underwhelming experience. I don't know if there's a better pizza place in Canon Beach, so if you're really craving pizza, this might do it. Otherwise I'd probably look for something else. Firstly the pricing was surprisingly expensive? We split 1 sandwich, 1 medium pizza, and 1 drink, and somehow walked away paying $60+? which seems like way more than I'd expect to for something so simple even if it's on the coast? And the most disappointing part was that, despite having paid that it was still a relatively mid experience. Starting with the pizza. Other reviewers have also noted this, but the crust is just weird. The bottom is disproportionately hard/crispy? the toppings and sauce are pretty standard. We got the meatball sub, which was super mediocre. you get 3 whole meatballs in the full sandwich? In my experience, there are a ton of better spots on canon beach.

    Cut by morons.

Pretty awful pizza, they basically threw toppings on a cheese pizza after it was done. Cut by someone that failed 3rd grade geometry. $38 for that. Do not recommend.

We got a rec from this place from not only our close friend visiting, but also the hotel staff. This place has great reviews from the locals so we had to check it out. The pizza is so good and the service was so nice! The place reminds me of a 90s set. Very cute!

Next to the Waves Hotel and had to try. Just average pizza. Pepperoni pizza didn't have much flavor. Staff nice and had pizza in 20 minutes.

Pizza dough was dry and flavorless. Very expensive at $75 for 2 large and 1 medium pizzas.

Pulled pork, brisket TENDER & JUICY. I can't even describe how I had flashbacks to my time in Texas. I am now in a food coma and on my way to take a 8 hour power nap. If you are ever at Cannon Beach, and do not feel like eating fish and chips, please come here and do your taste buds a favor.

A good thing we arrived for lunch just as it opened as the 22 seats filled almost immediately. One of the three employees working seemingly spent much of his time serving as crowd control from potential customers trying to grab a table. Our drinks were great. My wife's Bloody Mary, was smoky, pepper-amped, tomatoey deliciousness. And with hats off to Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé, I loved my spicy margarita, baby. The Brisket Sandwich my wife ordered was a disappointment. As unapologetic brisket snobs formerly from Texas, this didn't meet our standards; it was overly dry. A common flaw, brisket is a very tough cut of meat which takes a lot of time, attention and yes, fat, to prepare properly. I had the Grilled Cheese with smoked duck breast added. It was almost great, props for ooey-gooeyness and points for the tender smoky meat. However the aioli/jam spread was a bit off-putting to me. Still, a very good sandwich.

The walk-in beer cooler is accessible from both sides of the store and the selection of beer, cider, and wine was extraordinary! They had a variety of local and non-local, and all price points so you definitely have options depending on your mood. There were a ton of produce and fresh food options that I saw as well, even though we didn't purchase anything from those. I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! Definitely recommend stopping here whether you're passing through, camping, or enjoying a beach getaway!

I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. I was truly shocked to see an excellent selection of highly-rated wines, especially for domestic Cabernet Sauvignon. If you enjoy having an excellent wine, this is the place to find it.

Come prepared with three things: cash, an appetite, and a little patience. They don't take reservations--you simply write your name on the waiting list and relax while you wait. Trust me, it's worth every minute. We waited about 25 minutes, and after eating here, we understood exactly why there's always a line. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back two mornings in a row! The warm marionberry scones, fresh from the oven, are absolutely unforgettable. They're easily twice the size of a traditional scone, making them perfect for sharing, and every bite is buttery, tender, and bursting with sweet marionberries. I ordered the mushroom and Tillamook cheddar omelet with breakfast potatoes, and it was outstanding. The mushrooms were perfectly sautéed, the Tillamook cheddar was rich, fresh, and flavorful, and the potatoes tasted like they had been prepared that very morning before being crisped to perfection when ordered. Every bite tasted homemade. Our waitress had customer service down to a science--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself is wonderfully cozy, with just a handful of tables upstairs and additional seating downstairs. That intimate atmosphere means your food arrives incredibly fast. Ours was piping hot and on the table within just a few minutes of ordering. One thing to know before you go--they're cash only. Honestly, I can appreciate that. In a busy tourist town where credit card fraud is an unfortunate reality, it's a simple system that clearly works well for them. If you're looking for an unforgettable breakfast, brunch, or lunch, The Lazy Susan absolutely belongs on your list. Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, our waitress casually asked if we'd like dessert. I laughed and said, "You have desserts?" She pointed to the homemade dessert menu, and we couldn't resist taking home a slice of the chocolate silk pie and the peanut butter pie AND Oh my heavens....Each was incredibly rich and velvety--almost like an indulgent cheesecake--with homemade flavor in every bite. They became the perfect mid-afternoon treat, and now I already have an excuse to come back because I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the dessert menu. Some restaurants are worth visiting... The Lazy Susan is worth planning your trip around!
