This place is ok if you want American style sushi. However it's horrible if you want authentic Japanese food. The "low sodium soy sauce" was just watered down soy sauce, I couldn't even tell what it was at first. The rolls were ok. This is the perfect neighborhood sushi restaurant. I have had takeout from here a couple of times, and have been very impressed with the quality of food. The dining room is small but nicely decorated. I come to Parsippany for work and am so happy to have found Fu Sha. They have great "special" sushi rolls -- but even the regular maki rolls have been great and evenn the salad was delicious: fresh mixed greens with great dressing. High quality food. My favorite roll by far is the Sexy Susan -- huge tempura shrimp inside and large amounts of delicisou spicy tuna outside (with some other bellls & whistles). It is amazing. I love this spot! Don't be turned off by the exterior appearance (situated in a random strip mall) - the food is great. I will be back! read more

This review is strictly with regard to their customer service. I've eaten Fu Sha Sushi before; it was decent i eat lots of Sushi. This is on par with an average Sushi Bar in Long Island or a slightly subpar Sushi bar in NYC. There is no real competition in Parsippany so Fu Sha bar might be your best bet if you are looking for decent sushi. Customer Service? Terrible with poor appreciation for customers. I ordered delivery last night. 3 rolls some how that cost 19 dollars on my debit. Ordered at 8:30 - they processed my debit card. I had to spell out every letter of my address; 3 times due to communication gaps. 9:00 comes - nothing 9:30 I receive a phone call. They said and I quote "You come in? We no deliver right now." When I explained I didn't have transport they paused and fell silent. I told them to just cancel my order; I waited an hour to hear back - really sucky. Their response "OK We delivery next time!" Clearly they did not think that screwing that up is essentially a nice way to say "YOU NO EAT TONIGHT HAVE FUN" - seriously I gave them two stars: 1) because I remembered (from 7months ago) that i didnt mind their sushi. 2) because they refunded my card instead of me having to have my bank do it. minus 3 stars for not bringing me my food. I doubt I see myself spending on this place in the future. read more

Sushi was pretty good. Generous portions. I had the 'Pink Lady' roll and some nigiri, which I enjoyed. Hubbie enjoyed the seaweed salad, but was underwhelmed by his sushi (and he is an aficionado). While the restaurant was comfortable & nicely decorated, the acoustics were so bad that it was really loud & extremely difficult to communicate - esp with the server, who seemed to know very little about sushi, and required quite a bit of repetition to understand our order. Love this place ! You would NEVER think its as good as it is , from the parking lot . its def. A hidden gem. It's located in a strip mall and looks pretty raggidy from outside, but once inside everything changes . from the decor too the food , there is nothing I could possibly complain about. My wife and I blindly picked Fusha since we were craving Sushi. We definitely enjoyed the sushi as everything was fresh and delicious. The servers were friendly and very responsive. They have a very large selection of special rolls (2 pages). We picked three and they were all awesome. Good portions and well worth the prices. It's a BYOB so you are welcome to bring alcohol which is always a big plus. We will be coming back soon. Parsippany Roll was good with a teriyaki sauce and seasame seeds. Absolutely terrible food!!! The miso soup arrived cold and had no solids. It was just salty water. No tofu cubes, no seaweed, just water. The sushi rolls were tiny, warm, soggy, and had no flavor. The smell of old fish was overpowering. We tried a bite of each roll out of curiosity, but the smell and texture were so bad that we didn't eat any more out of fear of food poisoning. If you have a choice between eating here or buying sushi from your local grocery store, stick to the grocery store, the quality will be better. Delivery took over an hour and a half. Save your time and money as eating here will only make you $30 poorer and 2 hours closer to death. read more

We are done with this place, and not because of the food. If you enjoy your sushi with a side of screaming children, then this is the restaurant for you. The owners have young kids who run through the eatery screaming at the top of their lungs. No effort is made to corral and quiet them. We've watched other diners look unsettled by the ruckus, which is probably why Fusha Sushi has so many empty tables. If they turned the place into a nursery, it wouldn't be much of a transition. Found Fu Sha Sushi on Yelp, did a pick up order and loved it. Super tasty and priced right for what they serve. Server was friendly, and helpful. Inside was rather ambient, and suitable for easy quiet dining. Definitely going to check out the Saturday night jazz. read more

Ordered 2 bento Box for lunch at 11:45 and received it at 1:00 the worst part was the food was placed in a microwave to heat up because the California roll was hot and the wasabi had melted, the soup was also cold I order bento boxes all the time and never have received it like this. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Probably the worst sushi that I have ever had. The Spicy Crunchy Tuna had absolutely no taste at all, just bland white rice and Panko bread crumbs. Awful waste of money. Eel and Avo roll was all avocado and a minute piece of eel. Overcooked edamame (how that could happen is beyond me). RUDE waitresses, unbelievable how they treated us. In a tiny strip mall shared by QuikChek, the place with a warm atmosphere and an even warmer host will introduce you to some goooood sushi. I'm getting tired of the white tuna being water logged, which means that the fish had been frozen previously. Everything else was fine except that, and it's bothersome that they freeze any of their fish since they're not supposed to. Bummer. read more

Went here for dinner last night and was sooo impressed!! The presentation of the food was excellent. I had the yellowtail jalapeno appetizer which was delicious and the Red and White special roll which was also great! The fish was very fresh! I've been going to Fusha for better than three years, easily two or three times a month. The staff is consistently attentive to your needs even on the busiest of nights. The sushi is top shelf. My standards are the Salmon Flower, the Tuna Dumplings and the Jalapeno Yellow Tail. Each has always been fresh, and the presentation always amazes. From appetizer standards such as Gyoza to the Fortune Lantern, an amazing melding of fish in a sliced avocado shell, none have ever lacked taste or visual appeal. New specials occur on a regular basis and just add to the dimension of their menu offerings. From the simple to the complex you will not bee disappointed in Fusha! Oh, and desserts rock...from simple mochi to a variety of fried ice cream and deep fried cheesecake and bananas you're gonna be a happy person. read more
