We had the NG Salmon, California roll, shrimp tempura roll, crab dynamite, torched angel, scorpion, miso soup, 911, love at first bite, chicken tenders, shrimp fried rice, and fried bananas. I came with a group of friends to get sushi on a Friday night. We were placed right by a window, which was very cold. We had to keep our coats on. We waited 20 minutes to order and get our drinks, while everyone that was seated after us was helped almost immediately. We waited over an hour to get our sushi. We wanted to leave at one point because we were tired of waiting. They kept telling us it was coming. When our rolls finally came, they were decent. My friend asked for hers to be rolled with a different type of paper instead of what it's typically rolled with (I forget the names), and they didn't make it how she wanted it, but charged her extra. (12/15/2013) We hit Fusion for a very late lunch/very early dinner; place was devoid of diners, looked like staff and randomly related folks wandering in and out (kids, in-laws, aunts, etc.). I'm generally pretty good about identifying different languages, but was stymied by this place; heard Mandarin, Spanish, and maybe Tagalog. Vibe is quirky but fun, casual but instantly overly familiar. Place used to be the Field Sports Pub and Village Inn, has remnants of way too many TVs. The food here is not really "fused", more like pan-Asian. Pick the most popular of whatever Asian cuisine you can think of and they've got it on their extensive menu (Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Poke, Bulgogi) along with some American faves (Crab Wontons, Jalapeno Poppers, Cheesesteaks). We were starving and so ordered basically a cook's tour of the continent. Best was probably the Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna Salad; dressing was a rice vinegar tart, soy and sesame oil based vinaigrette with some sugar and hint of wasabi. Also enjoyable was the Chicken Lettuce Wraps (stir-fried chunks of dark meat chicken in a brown, soy-based sauce with diced celery, carrots and onions) came with cool, crisp, leaves of iceberg, squiggles of hoisin; was savory and nice mix of textures and temperatures. Sesame Crispy Eggplant were also a good choice, best eaten immediately; eggplant was tender (just serves as a vehicle for crispy batter and sweet, sticky, garlicky sauce). Jalapeno Poppers are fresh jalapeno halves stuffed with a schmear of cream cheese and shreds of Krab, tempura-battered and deep-fried; was lava hot, crispy, bland. Lemongrass Hot & Sour Soup was sour, but neither hot nor lemongrassy, broth was thin, least successful thing we tried. Marinated Calamari Salad was a mix of 2 salads (squid and wakame) a restaurant can order pre-made from any of the big Asian food distributors in Maryland (like JFC International) with a few fresh slices of cucumber underneath. We fell victim to the very clever sushi puns and naming and chose primarily for amusement (which did not necessarily lead to the best combos, but really, just wanted to say "Shiso Fine" and "No Money No Honey" Roll). This place was absolutely fantastic. Fusion is not just a clever name. Their exuberant food exemplifies what an Asian mashup restaurant should be. I started out with their large house sake, which I had three orders of by the end of the night (some may call me a sake sadist). I accompanied the sake with my first appetizer, the tuna pizza. It was a decadent dish, covered in tuna, jalepenos, tomato's, crunch flakes, and wasabi sauce on a tortilla. So yummy. I moved on to sushi and got two rolls: Fiesta and No Money No Honey. I'll get back to Fiesta later. No Money No Honey was a delicious hand crafted roll that left me wanting more. It paired excellently with my second bottle of sake. I didn't even have to use any wasabi, ginger, or soy sauce because the complex flavor profile was enough to be enjoyed on its own. Finally, on to the Fiesta Roll. This was a deep fried roll that came out a little bit after No Money No Honey. When the sweet waitress brought it out, I was in awe of the size of this sushi roll. The Fiesta was an absolute unit. I could barely fit it in my ogre mouth. Piled high with spicy tuna, crab meat, and stuffed with thick cream cheese, the sushi roll is my all time favorite. By the time I finished my meal and my third jar of sake, I was stoked out of my mind over this meal. I can't wait to go back to Fusion ASAP. I highly recommend it to anyone. read more

The service is good, they listen and all around friendly. Of course, main attractions are the food and it is delicious! Everything about it just seems about the food just tasted about right. With the chicken fried rice for example, there is a lot for yourself or to share with others. Because there are no small portions, which is good because if you're eating solo, it can fill your stomach real good. And even the prices don't seem too bad, some of which can be a steal. If you've gone anywhere and had great sushi, I think you'd agree that this is very average. Nothing wrong with it, just not very flavorful. All I have to say is that I tried the yellowtail cheeks... and I liked it. This place is a must for fresh, quality sushi (and noodles, dumplings, cheese steaks, and nachos) served at a decent price. The happy hour menu (M-F, 3PM to 6PM) features drink and meal specials (including the ah-mah-zing cheeks) that are sure to please... BUT... be warned... this place does get nutsy crowded on the weekend and parking can be a challenge... BUT (second, I know) it's worth it. We went to this restaurant towards the end of their evening but were still greeted with friendly smiles and fast service. The sushi chef makes the rolls right in the middle of the room, so if you sit around the 4 sided bar, you can actually watch him make the sushi which is neat. They have a Mai Thai that is pretty dangerous. Hardly tastes like alcohol at all, and goes down smooth. They have a ridiculous number of rolls. So much to choose from, almost too many! We had a roll with sweet potato and mushrooms, and I wish I'd gotten several rolls of that, it was fantastic. The California roll, which we tend to use as a cleanser between rolls was actually made with chunks of crab, very tasty. I would absolutely go back again. read more

Hate to do it as we have been going for years ! the last two with my daughters Service Dog since the new owners took over they did t want to let us in the waitress that always waits on us tried to tell the manager we were a real Service dog team he kept asking for a license or registration which in the US there are none ! All those are scams and fake if u have one you got ripped off ! When i tried to educate the manage on the Americans with Disability's Act he was very rude and kept insisting on a card with his picture. Even when i showed him the laws stating these are not to be asked for as they have no legal value. After the waitress and another person said to let us eat he finally caved but still said next time bring his ID i again said there isn't any. i have tried to message email and call to speak to the new owner to educate them on the laws but they have not to this date responded.. We will not ever go back . and we went as a family at least once a month and i pick up take out as well for lunch and dinner at least once a week Sad sad day So if your disabled don't look to be accommodated very disappointed read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE and ATTITUDE! There was 1" long hair in my food which showed up on the plate after the food was gone. On telling the server, she brought her manager to take a look at it. The manager raised her voice insinuating that it could be my hair (which is 12"long) and went on a barrage.
