Groupon offer is just to make you visit the shop. Luckily I did not buy Groupon before going to the shop after reading the reviews. Thought will buy online once as he agrees to do the work. He tried to oversell and was not keen on providing the service at the advertised price. Went for a brake pad change and mentioned he will not be able to change the pad with out changing rotors as well (I had mentioned that I only need brake pad change in the phone call before going there). Wasted 90 mins waiting for his to check the car. Also he was not happy with me providing my own parts (Why advertise the labor price if you are not interested in not doing only the labor) Just went to the nearby shop and got the brake pads changed in 30 minutes paying slightly more than the amount he advertised in Groupon. First off let me start with the owner, Sean. He's possess one of the best customer service I've ever experienced when dealing with auto care and we know how much of a headache can that give. He genuinely cares about his clients vehicles and will always want the best for the longevity of your car with the best reasonable prices. He's always working hard day in and day out. I just visited them for scheduled maintenance for my car and the service went well, overall it was value for money.

Had a very bad experience with my service there today. I had taken a groupon coupon for oil change + tire rotation + inspection for $50. When I went back to collect my car, first the car was **scratched heavily** on the side which happened at the shop. They denied doing it, but am 100% sure it happened there as it was a fresh yellow paint on my gray car which was not there earlier. I then found out they only did oil change and dod not rotate the tires neither did the inspection. When I called the shop they asked me to again come into the shop. On my working day I had already spent the whole morning on this and could not find time again to get in. Total waste of money and time with these guys. Never will I visit this shop again. I hope they will be penalized for their poor customer care and utter lack of customer morale. read more

Worst service with a GROUPON. No basic courtesy to greet the customer. Despite having an appointment, no explanation for delays, just silent treatment for everything.. Groupon says oil change with free 35 point inspection, well you are lucky if they do oil change correctly, forget any other inspection.. Pay$10 on top of groupon for tax+ hazardous materials disposal... They ask you to fill a form on arrival and if u mentioned any issues with car there, well it will never be read by them and they will print on invoice as "no issues found by mechanic".. Like this they are never gonna earn new customers through Groupon.. defeats the very purpose read more

The owner is extremely nice, and they running a great Groupon deal for oil change right now (to save you some time and hassle of buying one, owner says he will give you Groupon price if you just call and ask). I saw there was a Groupon deal for breaks, along with positive yelp and Google reviews so I decided to drive the 30 minutes from SJ to come here. Upon calling for an appointment, they stated that they would honor the price of the Groupon if I cancelled it, which I know is a favor to them as they retain the funds. I was fine with this. I arrived at 12:50pm, when my appointment was at 1pm, and dropped off my car. Jeffrey stated that they would need to shave my rotors (without even seeing them - which was an additional $160) as "best practice" even though I had my rotors looked at the day before and they were fine and would not require shaving. I told them to call me with what they saw, so that way I could make a decision about whether or not I wanted them to do it. About an hour later (1:40pm), Jeffrey calls me again and says that the rotors aren't bad but they need to be shaved. I asked him why, and he said it's basically to reduce liability of the autoshop in case anything happens to them. He also said that I should get the ceramic breaks (an additional $40) instead because they're better and because I was saving so much money with the Groupon price. To clarify, I asked him, "Are you telling me you won't change my break pads unless I let you do this?" To which he replied "Yes." Though frustrated with this, I agreed but declined the ceramic breaks, and he said the service would be done in about an hour, and that he'd call me. I waited TWO hours (3:42pm) and decided to call the shop back since I hadn't heard anything, and Jeffrey answered the phone, saying the technician had to go on break and he hadn't considered that, and that it would be done by 4:30pm. I take my time going back, and get there around 4:45pm, and they're still finishing my car. After I go to pay, Jeffrey starts saying "Yeah, that was a big job" as a pre-emptive way of explaining why it took so long. To be clear, I wasn't mad because of how long it took, I read other reviews that also said that sometimes their services run long. What really frustrated me, on top of being told that I HAD to pay an extra $160 (or they wouldn't change my breaks), is that when I asked what the warranty for the breaks was, Jeffrey said, "Oh, I think the warranty is about a year. But if you had gotten the ceramic ones that would have been 2-3 years." What purpose does that serve, only to try to make the customer feel bad about their decision? I made my choice, the service was done - that last comment really wasn't warranted. I even paid them directly and cancelled my Groupon so they get the money, although I felt a lot less inclined to after these interactions. I'm sure all the other customers have had great experience, and maybe because I'm a young woman that they felt more inclined to treat me the way that they did. Maybe Jeffrey was having a bad day. I'm not sure, but whatever it was, I was really disappointed in the quality of the customer service. TL;DR - inconsistent communication, said I had to pay for an extra service, tried to make me feel bad for not paying more for different parts. read more

They didn't rotate my tires tho due to safety regulations. They showed me the work that needs to be done so I could understand. had an oil change over the weekend at this shop; few days later while having a software update by the dealer, a safety check was done and the dealer informed me that the oil drain plug was sipping oil and the drain plug was not tight, and traces of oil around the filter. I went back to Future Auto, but, the beaded man, looks like the owner refused to check the plug for security. Absolutely bad attitude as though he did not care, never come back again.
