I'd say the spirit of the employees friendliness and service was good. The food overall as "OK" (three stars as defined by Yelp), and that is acceptable, something I'd say was "good enough" to be "okay" and would not turn it down or not, not recommend it to others. It's not "destination dining" but is located next to Diddy Reese's Cookies and Ice Cream which is how I stumbled upon this place next door. The food was okay. I'd say the Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet lacked a quantity sized portion of the fish and had too many fillers to make the dish seem bigger than it was in quality. The Pad See Ew, we tried was okay, nothing monumentally special, it was serviceable. So, that's where nothing was impressive but nothing was too offensive either, it just could have been better maybe the price lower and portions higher? read more

Ok, STOP and get in here quick! We were surprised with how amazingly delicious everything we ordered was! The flavors are so rich and original, house made, and mind-blowing. The flavors remind me of food my dad would make as a Hong Kong chef. The flavors taste like a cross between Hong Kong and Vietnamese cuisine. The owners operate the place as well and are as mom and pop as it gets! We got the OG Beef and the OG Pork noodles as well as the Dim Sum and Jackfruit sticky rice. We had the privilege of chatting with the owners and apparently they drive all the way to LA once a week to restock on inventory. No wonder why everything was next level! Mr. Noodle never disappoints! The food here is always delicious, but yesterday (10/16/25) was truly one of the best meals I've had. My favorite dish is the Chicken Pad See Ew and it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had that perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. The noodles were just the right texture, and the chicken was tender and tasty. Their presentation is also impressive, everything comes out looking fresh and appetizing, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they put care and pride into every plate. Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all. We ordered the khao soi, pad Thai, and chicken satay. Food was pretty standard but tasty. I really enjoyed the khao soi which is one of my favorite Thai dishes but not that many places offer it on their menu. The pad thai was a bit different than what I'm used to since they used skinny noodles. It looked really wet when it first came out but it was surprisingly pretty good. I ordered the chicken satay for my son and he enjoyed it. The prices here were reasonable considering it's in Westwood. We sat outside but didn't realize there would be so many people standing around waiting for Diddy Riese next door. The reason for the 3 stars is that I was extremely thirsty later on that day and this was the only meal I had all day. read more

On-call life had me hungry, and someone pointed me to this spot near my hotel. Parking's a little chaotic around UCLA (no surprise there), but once you get inside, you forget about it real quick. The crew here is super friendly--felt like I was a regular the second I walked in. I went for the fresh shrimp wrap and the spicy eggplant with rice. So good! We went on a Saturday night and the weight was actually less than 20 minutes! The food was really good and they even give you bibs in case you splatter some soup/sauce on your shirt. I love the lighting in here and it's very cool to see them making the noodles behind the glass. read more

SERVICE The place was pretty full, but there was one 3-top for us. Our server was super helpful and came back to check on us a couple of times. They brought out little fried noodles which I demolished in seconds . They brought more. FOOD Many things can be vegetarian made. It's a mixed kitchen, and I'm not sure about vegan seriousness, but it's a small kitchen with attention to details. Everything came out hot and close together - even though we all had special requests tied to our orders. Portion was big. It's probably enough for two meals (if I didn't have the long run). Even still, I couldn't finish. Ice coffee drinks came first. They are big, but "specialty" and creamy more than coffee flavor. This place has been in Westwood for such a long time and I remember coming here as an undergraduate. They used to have very good lunch deals and specials at student price range! Their menu changed time to time, therefore I'd suggest checking the online takeout menu for up to date prices and specials. My team decided to revisit here for lunch, we arrived around 11:40, before lunch rush. It was really hot outside that day (roughly over 100), and inside they had a fan on which we sat next to. As we got seated we were given menus right away, then a staff came and gave us water and side salad with ranch. Another Sara's came a little later to take our order. We ordered different dishes: drunken noodles with tofu, chicken green curry, chicken Panamg curry, and beef garlic and pepper. I usually get pad Thai but wanted to try something new (but not spicy). Drunken noodles came out first, I realized that most of the first dishes out of the kitchen for tables were noodles. Then the rest of the dishes came. We enjoyed the food and even had leftovers to take home. The drunken noodles was good, not too spicy and could've added more spice according to my teammate. They had chili paste and sauce in containers if you need more spice, which she used. Both of the Curry dishes were spicy for me but they were very flavorful especially the green one. The beef garlic and pepper was ok, it came with rice, broccoli and cabbage, but it tasted just fine and homemade. I may want to order something different next time. My older sister's a longtime diehard Mr. Noodle fan, and I can see the hype - it's homey, filling, and decent for the price. There's so many options on the menu, and portions are generous and perfect to share. My favorite is the Chinese sausage fried rice. Beef teriyaki: 9.5/10, huge portion and really fresh ingredient. Their teriyaki sauce isn't overly sweet like most other places have. Their beef is also not as oily as other restaurants have. Also, the beef tasted a little chewy, so part of the ingredients didn't meet my expectations. The orange chicken here, however, tasted great.
