the best spot in the area, absolutely delicious! i usually get the thai bbq pork ribs (which are fantastic) but decided to switch it up & go with orange chicken this time. super flavorful & great portion size. the staff is always so friendly, nicole is incredibly kind & has such a welcoming, bubbly personality. i go out of my way to come here whenever i know i will be by ucla. thank you mr. noodle!

Tasty food, generous portions, good prices & good service! Went with my friend for dinner. We were greeted, seated & given menus quickly even though they were busy. We ordered fried rice with chinese sausage and chicken pad thai. These are shareable portions. Notes: It's walking distance from UCLA. Casual atmosphere and family friendly.

Mr. Noodle never disappoints! The food here is always delicious, but yesterday (10/16/25) was truly one of the best meals I've had. My favorite dish is the Chicken Pad See Ew and it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had that perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. The noodles were just the right texture, and the chicken was tender and tasty. Their presentation is also impressive, everything comes out looking fresh and appetizing, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they put care and pride into every plate. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving Thai food! My friend ordered the spicy eggplant with chicken and she also loved it! They are located in Westwood so it's very convenient for UCLA staff and students. Service is friendly and everyone is attentive. The restaurant is cool and relaxing. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all. We ordered the khao soi, pad Thai, and chicken satay. Food was pretty standard but tasty. I really enjoyed the khao soi which is one of my favorite Thai dishes but not that many places offer it on their menu. The pad thai was a bit different than what I'm used to since they used skinny noodles. It looked really wet when it first came out but it was surprisingly pretty good. I ordered the chicken satay for my son and he enjoyed it. The prices here were reasonable considering it's in Westwood. We sat outside but didn't realize there would be so many people standing around waiting for Diddy Riese next door. The reason for the 3 stars is that I was extremely thirsty later on that day and this was the only meal I had all day.

So good! We went on a Saturday night and the weight was actually less than 20 minutes! The food was really good and they even give you bibs in case you splatter some soup/sauce on your shirt. I love the lighting in here and it's very cool to see them making the noodles behind the glass.

On-call life had me hungry, and someone pointed me to this spot near my hotel. Parking's a little chaotic around UCLA (no surprise there), but once you get inside, you forget about it real quick. The crew here is super friendly--felt like I was a regular the second I walked in. I went for the fresh shrimp wrap and the spicy eggplant with rice. Both hit the spot--fresh, flavorful, and portions that don't leave you hungry. Big fan already. Next time, I'm definitely diving into their noodle dishes.

Came here for lunch because it's walking distance from work. The service is quick and because they get busy and it can get loud inside during the lunch hour, you have to be more persistent to get their attention. Food is tasty. Highly recommend the beef salad. It kept me full and satisfied all day!

The egg rolls were actually very good sometimes they're not but here actually very good

Do you like Curry ? I love Curry any of the colors yellow red green ! Today here at Mr. noodle I had the green curry. This was my first time here. I was in the neighborhood and thought I would walk in and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The green chicken curry with eggplant blew my mind. My server Nicole she is so excited about the way they prepare their Curry she emphasized to have a good curry sauce you must use Thai chili paste. Her service was amazing. I've had Curry from all over the place and this Curry was absolutely the best of all the curries I've had a chance to taste.

We came to visit our daughter at UCLA and was pleasantly impressed by Mr. Noodle. I guess we didn't expect an authentic Thai meal given the restaurant name. We were happy the staff welcomed us in Thai once they learned we were Thai too and gave us their recommendations from their extensive menu. We really enjoyed the boat noodle soup, penang and pad see ew. Good size portions. The service was quick and attentive and friendly. The place was pretty large and could seat large parties. Bright and airy ambiance. We look forward to visiting again when we're in town!

I've been here a couple of times and I loved it! I brought my mom and we think we just found a new spot. The service was great, they were very attentive to detail and we got a warm welcome. Food rating: Seven Sea Soup 4/5 31. Pad See Ew 5/5 62. String Beans Garlic 4.5/5 66. Garlic Baby Pork Spareribs (Short) 5/5 The restraunt feels open and welcoming. The restroom could use a little more care, but overall a great experience. Will be coming again!

Great spot that has a variety of Thai dishes for a casual dining experience! Food comes out quickly and very fresh! We loved every dish we tried and it was shared well amongst 3 people. Seated fairly fast for a Friday night around 6pm. It has the feeling of being run by a family, everyone is friendly and you never feel rushed. Parking is street only with paid meters or lots nearby. Always a great time at Mr Noodle!

Veggie Singapore Noodles with tofu. Ask spicy!

Came here after a long training run. My first time here, and this place delivered what I needed! Deliciously spicy veggie & tofu & noodles (I always ask to make sure - "spicy". Iced Coffee. Everyone else was happy too. The soup was rated highly - perfect appetizer after a serious workout. PARKING street parking available everywhere on a Sunday. Free meters. SERVICE The place was pretty full, but there was one 3-top for us. Our server was super helpful and came back to check on us a couple of times. They brought out little fried noodles which I demolished in seconds . They brought more. FOOD Many things can be vegetarian made. It's a mixed kitchen, and I'm not sure about vegan seriousness, but it's a small kitchen with attention to details. Everything came out hot and close together - even though we all had special requests tied to our orders. Portion was big. It's probably enough for two meals (if I didn't have the long run). Even still, I couldn't finish. Ice coffee drinks came first. They are big, but "specialty" and creamy more than coffee flavor. BATHROOMS Clean The restaurant's office is up a very tight, small spiral stairwell. It's crazy to watch staff scaling it to get supplies.

    Thai Fried Rice with shrimp
    Jessica M.

This place is a small and cozy restaurant located across the street from UCLA in the Westwood area! The menu had a large variety of Thai food. The price was great I had shrimp fried rice and shrimp wontons for less than $40. There is a parking structure near by I advise parking there is little to no cost depending on the time of the day. Great place to have a great meal while in the area portions are shareable. Service was relatively quick and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Every had great flavors and so delicious! 10/10 I highly recommend.

We had the baked pork chop so food took about 20 / 25 minutes or so to come out. Tasted just like childhood! Milk tea also tasted very familiar. I was happy about these two items. The grilled chicken with black pepper sauce was just so so in comparison. Gave it 3 stars because there were flies flying around the patio. Covered trash cans might reduce this problem a bit. Price is also on the higher side. $6 milk tea was not very worth it. And they charged you some sort of fee (see pic) that I wasn't aware of, did not expect extra fee when ordered at the location and not doordash.

It was crispy on the outside and the shrimp was slightly on the firm side and slightly savory. Nasi capcay included a lot of fresh vegetables. It had more liquidy sauce than expected . The veggies soaked up the liquids quickly and began to get a little soggy. However the veggies were savory. The dish could use more greens. NOTE: this dish comes with shrimp which was not clear in the menu. One party member wanted a veggie dish but could not eat it due to shrimp allergies. Let them know to cook without shrimp if you have shrimp allergies The Nasi bunkus was delicious. Not so heavy on the tumeric for a streamlined dish. You can ask for more turmeric and spicyness if you prefer. Perkedelle waa tender but did not have as much crispyness as other perkadelle that ive had. The potato inside was not as fluffy as expected and was on the slightly dense side. It was still good. The Bakwang jagung, or corn fritters, were both crispy and a bit dense and sticky. It was savory and was not greasy at all. We liked this dish. Es doger deserves was good but had tough meat husks in the drink. The coconut flavor and bits were a nice addition to the drink. The casava and condensed milk had the right amount without being overpowering. If not for the husks in the drink, i would recommend it. Es cendol was heavy on the condensed milk and slightly overrpowered the pandan jelly and bits of jackfruit. Overall this restaurant is an option for the area if you are looking Indonesian food.

Customer Service: (5/5) The waiter was very nice throughout. She was very endearing as she talked to my girlfriend in chinese and also kind to me when speaking in english. When asked about dishes and proportions, she was very knowledgeable and honest. Food: (4.5/5) We ordered the Mapo Tofu and Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken. The food came out within 10 minutes and the portions, as I saw on previous reviews, were generous enough for us to share and be full. The Mapo Tofu came out on a hot ceramic bowl. It wasn't as spicy as I thought, not overly spicy but just enough where you get that numbing kind of sensation in your mouth that leaves you wanting more. The beef wasn't like the ground beef you see in other mapo tofu, but more of chunkier pieces which I wasn't a big fan of as it didn't seem spread evenly. The Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. You can tell it was made from a wok and the flavors were just incredible. The chicken seemed to have been friend separately and added on top afterwards but the saltiness of the chicken didn't take away from the fried rice at all. Instead, it added to the flavor and made it all so enjoyable. For the ultimate experience, I'd recommend eating both together to maximize your palette!

The space feels worn -- menus tattered, décor dated, the whole interior overdue for a refresh. For a restaurant positioning itself at the higher end of Chinese dining, Meizhou Dongpo is sleeping on the finer details. No complimentary tea service, and rather than offering a pot for the table, they serve individual tea by the mug -- a comically oversized Western mug at that. Chopsticks arrive without spoons, and when you ask for one, you get silverware instead of the porcelain you'd expect at Chinese restaurant. The Peking duck accoutrements came with a little plastic spoon on the tray. Small things, but they add up.The fried rice was a letdown too and looked nothing like the menu photo. Spots like Din Tai Fung and Lunasia Signature are operating at a different level and the gap shows. Meizhou Dongpo has the bones of a great Chinese restaurant. The duck alone proves it. But until they invest in the experience around the food, it's hard to recommend at this price point.

For my appetizer, I went with the Phuket wings. As someone who takes wings seriously, I can say these stood out. Crispy, flavorful, and coated in a Southern Thai curry sauce I hadn't experienced before. Rich, slightly sweet, with a depth that kept me going back for "just one more." For the main, I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Thai beef salad to balance things out. Smart call. The dressing leaned creamier than what I usually expect, but it worked. Bright, flavorful, and layered. I'll be honest, I couldn't quite finish it, but the beef didn't stand a chance. Every last bite. Dessert sealed the deal.
