I've been coming here for the past several years with my TCU buddies after football games and working out at the TCU gym. I've gotten the fish tacos or the shrimp each and every time and have been satisfied. The prices are very reasonable and doesn't seem to have increased over the years. My only complaint is that they have always screwed up someones order within our group. This has never failed! I'm not certain if this has to do with the person taking the orders or the person cooking. Someone within our group will always sit there watching us eat as the cook remakes their order. I really don't get the hype of this place. I ordered vegetarian tacos... what I got was a tortilla with a ton of greasy, soggy vegetables and cheese. I barely took two bites. I don't have high standards, but this was disgusting and void of taste. I might as well have dipped a tortilla in a bottle of olive oil and had that... would've saved me $6, too. read more

Fuzzy's is definitely a great place to get tacos and a beer. The atmosphere is quite laid back and the food is delicious. The tacos have a more authentic flare to them than you will see at more places (discredit any notions you have of what a taco is if you think Taco Bell is 'Mexican' food). The wide array of options to spice up your tacos will ensure that you will certainly find something you like and can keep you coming back to try new things. This place does indeed get incredibly busy at peak hours, which is a good sign that they serve good food, but the type of crowd that will be in there can be, well for lack of a better word, annoying. (personal opinion). Definitely give this place a try but make sure you bring your patience along with you! read more

Looks like I'm going to be joining fellow Yelper Leslie W. on this one. I too got FOOD POISONING from this location. I had shrimp on my nachos. I've ordered this so many times from other Fuzzy's locations and have never had an issue... until this past Sunday. I've only been to the Berry St. location once before and since I was in the neighborhood doing some shopping, figured might as well get a bite to eat before heading back to Arlington. I started eating my nachos and thought the shrimp tasted a little "off"... thought perhaps maybe the oil in the fryer needed changing or something to that effect. Most of them were covered in queso and pico which cleverly masked the funk. I picked most of the shrimp off, but for the few that I did ingest... that was enough to make me feel like death this whole week. Fast forward to today-- went to my doctor... shellfish poisoning, extreme dehydration. Now on an antibiotic and several meds that will hopefully allow me to eat something solid again. Apparently this can last up to 10 days... JOY! And to top things off... I'm not the only one who has gotten sick off of the shrimp from this location. My doctor said she too had ordered a shrimp salad from the Berry St. Fuzzy's and also fell victim to shellfish poisoning. She says she's avoided it ever since. I called Fuzzy's on Tuesday after I realized that the reason I was praying to the porcelain gods was most likely to have been caused by what I ate (seeing as it was the ONLY food I had eaten before getting sick). Someone took my name and number and said they would have a manager contact me. It's Friday... no call. So I decided it was time to call them again. I was put on hold while a manager finally picked up the phone. I told him how sick I had gotten off of their shrimp and he sounded like he could have cared less. I suggested that perhaps they rotate their stock of shrimp and he just mumbled something. You'd think he would have taken some initiative and say that they would check the shrimp or something... but nope. You'd think that a restaurant would care about it's customers and do everything in their power to ensure proper food handling and safety measures are being taken in order to prevent anyone else from getting sick. I understand that Fuzzy's isn't a five-star restaurant... but still. Needless to say that was the last time I will ever eat at this location. read more

It was okay. The guy screaming numbers was very piercing and kind of ruining my meal. The employees were nice though one guy looked like he wanted to kill himself, but I guess we all get that way after a long day, lol. The food was good, but their 'sauce' just tastes like mayonnaise. Who wants mayo on a taco? Not me. The rice was very good, beans were bland. Guacamole was great, I really enjoyed it, though it could have used a little lemon or lime. They gave me a nice big portion too. Chips were cold. I probably won't eat here again unless I get a midnight taco craving. read more

Love feta? Think your taste buds would enjoy it on your Mexican cuisine? Great, you've found just the Tex-Mex restaurant for you then! I LOVE this place for its signature use of feta on a variety of their foods. I would recommend basically everything minus the burritos, which I felt were lack-luster. Porque? Loved the "dive" atmosphere at Fuzzys! The tempura shrimp tacos ($1.99 each) were fresh and delicious, as was the sweet tea! Bought a t-shirt for good measure, to remember dining at such a fun restaurant. Tvs were on, by the way, so everyone could watch Tiger Woods play golf. read more

I must say, the veggie tacos are pretty good. It's a popular place on weekend nights and stays open a little after the bars close. You can get most of their items with the veggie option and the place is very consistent. If you don't mind the atmosphere or lack of service, good veggie tacos are a quick sit-down away. read more

I Loooooove Fuzzy's Tacos. But I must admit, I felt a little weird about going there the first time given that the name was Fuzzy's Tacos. hmmm....but this place ended up being one of my favorite college eateries. My parents also loved it when they came up to visit. I recommend the scooners of beer, I think they are fabulous and also pretty cheap. And how often to you get to drink beers out of scooners? The tacos are great, as are the burritos. Plenty of vegetarian choices too. And they are famous for their fish tacos. Seriously. I wish someone would open up a fuzzy's here in Austin, though I'm sure that's the last thing we desperately need is another awesome taco shop. Best of all, Fuzzy's is open until 3 am so it makes the perfect late night munch festery. read more

I frequent Fuzzy's frequently for the Fabulous Big Salad with grilled shrimp- and house dressing. It's delicious! Only 3 stars ?? The constent screaming of numbers wears me out! I've visited Fuzzy's at every visit to DFW. Especially love the breakfast tacos, but skip the seafood options.

As always, the food is always good. My order was accidentally messed up. I went and told the manager, and within 45 seconds I had a new taco just like I had originally ordered. The service at this particular Fuzzy's is just as good as the food. read more

Delicious food! Their salads are great and so are their tacos - the prices are reasonable. I rarely drink but I know people that love their alcoholic drinks. Lady was rude and wouldn't serve me a frogarita because she said she said she thought I'd had enough to drink. Not sure what system fuzzys cashiers go off of to assess someone's intoxication but I didn't drink anything that day so I left and won't be going back read more

Can be a little noisy at times but everything was enjoyable otherwise. The chicken soft tacos = fantastic! The queso is also delicious!

I have seen Fuzzy's Taco Shop on Berry for many years now, but had not eaten there until just recently. The food is great and the service is fast. Don't be deterred by a long line as it moves quickly. We've had the nachos and a variety of tacos so far and loved them all. read more

I became a fan of this place while attending TCU. Would always order the nachos to share with a classmate or two. Today, however, I ordered baja tacos. Shredded beef and grilled shrimp The beef was okay. The shrimp was my favorite! I love the garlic saucet( they put on nearly everything) . Along with 3 tacos I ordered a margarita...a purple margarita. It was frozen; which I don't prefer, but a margarita none the less. My friend and I arrived a little before 6( on a Wednesday) and there were still plenty of places to sit. However, as it was nearing 7 it was beginning to become very busy. This place is fairly small and with limited outside seating. We also did not need to wait long for our orders. It was less than a 5 minute wait. Which is awesome because I was super hungry. With all this being said...its ok. I still prefer Yucatan Taco Stand for taco's and margaritas. read more

My favorite tacos of all time! Shredded cabbage, feta cheese, garlic sauce on a soft white corn tortilla. Your choice of pork, fried or grilled fish, crawfish, chicken, beef, shrimp. I can get two tacos, chips and hot sauce and a water for about 6 bucks! 'Nuff said. read more

Love the food! Delicious tasty crawfish tacos and salads! The only downside of this place is the noisy background and food smell is too strong if you dine in that it stains your clothes. HOWEVER great place for social gathering, crowded but much fun you can get out of by having beers and cheers! read more

Solid taco joint especially when you are drunk. The food is tasty and the price is decent. I go here all the time.

I went an hour before closing and i guess they didnt want to cook. Rice was extremely hard and chicken tacos tasted like they were in the refrigerator before serving. I could see the fat greese in my beans from when they have cooled and the fat turn white. Horrible experience. I guess thats what happens when you have high hopes. Waste of $50. read more

This is seriously the worst Fuzzy's I have ever been to. I was a horribly disappointed in the service and food. We found a bug in the food and the service was extremely rude to our entire group at during the entire experience. I will never eat there again, and I am shocked that this level of quality is accepted at a Fuzzy's restaurant. I would recommend avoiding this at all cost. read more
