I have found my new taco/burrito spot. This place beats out Chipotle any day. It reminds me of the taco places in Austin, very hip and beatnikish. My new favorite is the grilled fish burrito. It is filled with grilled tilapia, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and onions. It isn't mostly rice and beans like some places. Their chips and salsa are HOT and delish. The chips are coated with a mixture or cumin and possibly cayenne pepper. Yummy place that I will be going to again soon. read more

Not really sure what all the hype is about Fuzzy's. I would much prefer to go to one of the more authintic local taquerias around here for some real double wraped tacos. My wife and I went a few nights ago. My tacos were good, nothing special. The cooks couldnt get it through their heads that she did not want cheese on her tacos though and they screwed the order up a couple times. If the food was awesome this wouldnt have been a big deal but for average tacos it made for a dissapointing dinner. I would go to Fuzzy's again if I just needed a quick snack or somehting to soak up the beer but not for a meal. read more

I am NEVER impressed w/ Tex-Mex restaurants who charge you for staples like chips and salsa. That was my first complaint. Ordered the shredded chicken tacos, crispy...got soft, 2nd problem (altho I never complained to them about this). They were good, like any other place. Will go to taco Cabana from now on. read more

Ever since I moved to Texas I have loved coming to Fuzzys (at least once a week). This one is closest to where I live. The last three times I've come in to this location my order has been messed up. Everything on my receipt is correct. But when I bring my order all the way home I open it up and at last one thing is wrong. I will no longer be coming to this location because the last two times I've called back to make them aware (even though they were very accommodating and fixed the issue) this is now the third time in a row that my order has been messed up. As I said, the order on the ticket is correct , but the kitchen needs to pay more attention to what it says. Ex, first incident: asked for fajita beef, got ground beef. Visited fuzzy's for the first time in Abeline tx where their fish tacos have half a filet of meat so I was very excited to continue eating at this chain. Recently visited and in Dallas the portions are quite meager. Three stars for friendly staff who allowed us to dine in ten minutes before closing. read more

Meh. That's how I'd describe Fuzzy's. Meh. The layout is a cluster. You have to pick up your food straight from the kitchen window. WTF. I got a veggie burrito and well, I'm not even sure there were veggies in my burrito. Food is decent, we went this morning in search of breakfast tacos and this was a temporary fix. Biggest complaint is the food took forever to cook. We had a breakfast taco plate and a breakfast burrito. Size of tacos and burritos was good but still over $16 for both meals and two drinks. Pricey for breakfast. Potatoes were awesome but beans weren't homemade. Will visit again if we are in need of a fix. Not comparable to Taqueria La Fonda San Marcos. read more

Headed over to this place a week ago with the wife and kiddo for a quick bite to eat. We typically don't hang out to eat as my son doesn't typically do well in public environments if you know what I mean. He's two. He did awesomely well here though. They had a game on the boob tube and mega sized beers in ice cold mugs (had to have the wife drive me home). The tacos are a little on the small side for a big guy like me, but they're tasty and juicy. As I wasn't starving, and in need of an ice cold beer, this place was the perfect ticket. read more

We have been to several Fuzzy's in the area, and I would recommend all of them except this one. We've only had issues at this location. The last 4 times we have been there they have either forgotten several things in our takeout order or completely screwed up the order. Went there one Friday morning. I ordered a burrito and at first I thought it would be great. The location at Mockingbird has great breakfast and lunch. The burrito was wet. I opened it and counted the pieces of brisket- 4 small ones. It was sloppy with beans and some type of rice. I returned it. The cashier asked if I wanted something else? Good stuff! Menu is varied, everything from breakfast ( mmmm...had Huevos Rancheros this morning, and they served it up on my request with an optional Salsa Verde, my favorite) to big burritos and big salads. Even a good selection of on-tap beers. For $6 a person plus drinks, it's hard to go wrong. read more

Three things I really love about Fuzzy's: the shrimp tempura taco salad, crawfish tacos, and the margaritas. The only reason is I gave it three stars is because it seems to be a bit dirty inside the restaurant. Last few times we visited there were flies and the tables hadn't been cleaned off. read more

The best thing a about Fuzzy's is the queso, which is topped with fresh pico de gallo and shredded cheese. Yumm! Their chips are also tasty. Their soft tacos are decent, but the tortillas crumble easily which makes them awkward to eat. Don't get the tortilla soup. It's super bland with zero meat. Really have only heard good things about this place, but I was disappointed. Came in about 8:15pm on a Sunday. We ordered the chips and salsa which were pretty good. I ordered a taco plate with a shredded beef and a spicy pork (which wasn't spicy at all :/) with black beans and cilantro lime rice for sides. Food was NOT warm. That's my biggest complaint. Everything tasted decent, but nothing was warm; it seemed as if it'd all been sitting in the back for a half hour. Place isn't very clean, service was mediocre and food just wasn't worth it. I'd rather have gone to one of the hole in the wall places in downtown McKinney. Unfortunately won't be back. read more

Usually love fuzzy's, but this location is terrible. Got the shredded chicken salad. Lettuce was soggy and there were random chunks of shredded brisket in it as well. Not impressed with the staff or ambiance of this location. No music, awkward, and a doorbell rings loudly any time the patio or front door is opened. Stopped in for breakfast tacos on a Saturday morning & this place hit the spot. My Bacon, Potato, Egg & Cheese tacos were cooked to perfection (generous portions of bacon & potatoes). Great value for breakfast! The staff (including cooks) was very friendly & the restaurant/bathrooms were nice & clean. Great breakfast spot as it's not too bustling but the music playing provides some good background noise. I come here all the time for dinner w/ my family & always have a great experience but will definitely be back for breakfast sometime soon, too. read more

Shredded beef and pork were underwhelming. Very little to no flavor, feta was the prominent flavor. Crawfish tasted like popcorn shrimp in a taco shell, no flavors to marry it all together. Chips and queso were the only redeeming food eaten in this meal. read more

I love the food here and I especially love the fact that they are open early. I can't stand fast food breakfast so on my way to work I just call in my order and by the time I arrive it's ready for me; no waiting. I've only had a couple negative experiences: 1st: I ordered a breakfast burrito that ended up having eggshells in it which grossed me out and I couldn't finish but I simply don't order the breakfast burritos anymore. 2nd: one time the shrimp in my salad wasn't cooked all the way, gave me a stomach ache nothing more. I've been to another location in Sherman (which is now closed) and wasn't very impressed. We waited awhile, and thought we'd give the chain another try at a different location. This one was great! I have eaten at the one is frisco and loved it!! So when out shopping today I was excited to eat here again. First, the cashier guy was rude and rushing us. It was slow at that point. second...waited and waited for two tacos and a burrito, my son went up to the counter, our order was never placed! So we gave our receipt and they brought it out 5 mins later. It was very good. 3rd strike was as we waited forever I had plenty of time to look around. It is filthy, tables not wiped, wet,food on the floor...I started to wonder if it looks this bad out here, what's it look like where they are preparing our food... I was in last night with my family and ordered food and a regular Margarita. When I started drinking it, it was very sour, so I decided to ask them to add peach flavoring. The guy started to pour it out, and I asked why are you throwing that out, just add the peach. He stated that it was too watery. He through it out and then charged me $6 more. Meh. Tacos for bolillos. Lacks flavor but not terrible. Not worth $1.99 per taco. Good borracho beans. The menu is far too extensive. They could cut out a lot of stuff and concentrate on bringing on more tacos como pastor o carnitas. I'll stick to El Tacaso o El Paisa. Would consider 3 stars but minus 1 for no salsa verde, limes or radishes. read more

Prior to going to Fuzzy's, I had never really been interested in going there. It's relatively close to my house and I've heard it pretty cheap but it still never really called my name. However one day, my best friend insisted that we go for lunch and i finally gave in. To be honest, from the outside looking in, it looked pretty questionable. There was a trash outside, and it just looked run down to me. BUT when i walked inside it wasn't bad at all. The staff was ready to take my order, the inside looked clean, and it smelled delightful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla (which was a hefty amount of food) and also a shredded chicken taco. The food was made fast but slow enough for you to know that the food was being made fresh. When I received my order I was shocked at how big the quesadilla was. The food also had a hefty amount of cilantro which is something i cannot stand, but the way they paired it with other spices and sauces made it amazing and I wasn't bent about the cilantro at all. My total came out to about $11, which isn't bad at all considering I got a large drink, a quesadilla, and a taco. I would 100% recommend going to this restaurant, and I will definitely be going back!!! read more
