I was really hoping to ignore the so so reviews and love this place. But just like all the other reviews we got our nachos and it was stone cold! Ugh i dont understand!? I wish they actually had a microwave just so they couldve nucked it for us to make it edible. We had to just leave more than half of it cause you couldnt eat it that cold. Obviously the chicken is precooked and they throw it on the nachos and then put on the melted cheese. If they would just keep the chicken heated it would be a huge improvement! I am a fan of Fuzzy's. We live nearby and the family and I go by every few weeks still. When they opened I think we were going a few times a week. Anyway I am a fan of the food. I am especially fond of the breakfast tacos. I know, they sound strange, but they are addictive. Same thing for the breakfast burrito, though it is probably too much food for one person (at least me). I like the shrimp and tempura fish tacos a lot as well. The quesadillas are great. I was sad when they removed the sandwiches from the menu though. I loved the tempura fish sandwich when they had it. That being said, what all the bad reviews say is also true as well, but it doesn't bother me since I like the food so much. The waits are outrageous sometimes. The shrimp tacos are to die for. They serve margaritas with liquor bottles in them! Be there by 6 to beat the crowd. They also have patio seating. Very nice! read more

Extremely slow service. If you go, make sure you have plenty of time. I was just there, and there was a couple ahead of me in line ordering when I got there. 10 minutes later, I was still waiting to order because the cashier was making margaritas for the people in front of me so I left. We have eaten here since they opened and it has always been good but the last couple of times it has been bad. We had the shredded chicken salad last night and the chicken smelled, tasted and looked like it came out of a can. There was water pooling in the take out container, and no we did not let it sit. My husband had to wait to get the food when he got there and we ate as soon as we got home All of the soft tacos were soggy and not edible. Stopped in at Fuzzy's tacos to check out the place and get a to-go order. The front counter service was great. Food was prepared quickly. I did not get a good value for my money. I ordered the enchiladas with rice and beans. The portion sizes were too small. I paid 9 the portions should have been bigger. I will go elsewhere. read more

Food was okay but it took 25 minutes to get it when it wasn't busy. The kitchen staff was too busy talking to worry about getting guests served and the pagers in the basket buzzed constantly. Fuzzy's is a must visit for anyone looking for great tacos. We love the food/menu along with the people who work there. It isn't the absolute best taco place in St. Louis but I got the shrimp and chicken fajita tacos and it was awesome. Food is ok but "service" is terrible! To repeat what was said in numerous previous reviews, the people who work here do not give a **** about taking care of customers. What amazes me is how full the prominent tip jar is for S L O W, RUDE "service"! Went in tonight for latish dinner - yes it's Taco Tuesday. You would think they would staff to prepare for this. One woman working counter with a long line. However, every time someone came to the counter for a drink she left line and helped them immediately. Another young woman came to counter and we though she was going to start taking orders but no, she came to interrupt the order taker w lengthy conversation. She also asked us to move several times to throw floor mats in the corner. So I thought oh she is cleaning, until I noticed all unoccupied tables were dirty (and remained so for the hour+ we were there). After finally placing our order which included chips and queso we were told to "go around the corner" to get them. My husband did so and waited and waited. When he asked about it, he was yelled at and berated that "you're supposed to just hand me that receipt"! Finally received our order 50 minutes after entering. I like this place a lot. I'm a fan of fish/shrimp taco's and I really like the flavors of Fuzzy's. Portions and prices are to my liking. My brother in Dallas swears by Fuzzys and said I had to try it. I had a fried fish taco and a grilled fish taco. They were great! Its a fast place to grab a pretty healthy meal. They rushed a tempura fish buritto for me after it was left off of my order and I returned to the restaurant to get it. I had to wait in line for 15 minutes, but the woman at the counter said that she would ask the kitchen to put a rush on the order. When I got home, I found that the burrito had one piece of fish in it. It was a really a bean and cheese burrito. That's kind of where my excitement stops. My margarita tasted off... and I didn't get my salt. The chips and salsa were crazy hot... some type of cayenne or paprika was sprinkled on the chips. This was a casual place for Mexican. May have had too high of expectations so that may be why I was a little let down. I ordered the nachos, it was a big portion for only about $7. Chips were a little flimsy but we did enjoy the goat cheese on top. They were, I thought, a little short handed for a busy Friday night, food was prepared fast, but ordering took a while. Even though I heard so much good hype about Fuzzy's, I was prepared to not like it. So, big surprise when I didn't just like it - I loved it! Only having eaten here for lunch, I have not, unfortunately, tried the drinks, but plan on rectifying that soon. I can comment on the BEST ever chips and queso - wow!
